Fellow Christians. I want to ask you, are you holy? (Answer before reading below)?

Before I explain the correct answer for the followers of Christ, let’s just say, when I asked this you probably went to say well, I’m working on it. As Christian’s what we should say is yes. Now you might be a bit confused so let me explain a little:

The main definition of Holy is perfection and purity. When the Bible talks about Holy things/people other than God it is different. That doesn’t mean the God isn’t Holy, it’s not that he isn’t pure and perfect, there’s no doubt about that. When the Bible talked about Holy, it’s talking about purpose not perfection. Each and every person whom is reading this, is holy. God picked each and every person and made a purpose for them to serve the lord.

So, when someone asks you if you are holy, you now can tell them the right answer:

The answer is yes!

I'm answering before reading, no I'm not holy, I'm not perfect and I have many flaws and I sin on the daily, I'm a believer and a follower of Jesus christ but I'm not holy and I won't be until I die

Well I read it and I will still call myself unholy, it just doesn't feel right to me and I wouldn't want that to look like I'm stepping up to God or Jesus in any way, I'm imperfect and it just wouldn't sound right to put myself in that same holy spot as our creator

Perfection, none of us are. Humans are by no means perfect, we can try but we never will be.
