You are right it is extremely limited to research you did. As in you didn't do any research. The hijab like the burqa is actually part of a religious ideology. It is no different than wearing a cross.
Shia Muslims who are the minority and the less extremist are identified by their woman wearing hijabs. In many ways it is like Jews wearing their little hats, it is acknowledging their religious ideology and testament to the suffering that they have to go through in Sunni predominant countries in which they are killed murdered raped and everything else.
Sunni Muslims who are the majority and more prone to extremism are the ones in which their women wear burqas. Like with Shia it is nothing more than a religious ideology and identification of which sect they belong to.
So it is far more than sexuality, if you are capable of doing research you'd notice but you're not capable of doing much

They believe this, women are the most precious and valuable things in life. If you have people coming to your home do you leave out your gold, money, or jewelry? No. So they cover what is most precious to them.
If people actually took the time to research things they would understand and not be so quick to judge.
Islam is part of the Abrahamic religion, same as the Torah, and the Bible. They are all interconnected and all pray to the same God. There is even talks about wearing a hijab in the Bible.
Let's just let people live and stop judging what we don't understand please. Most arabic girls I know are proud to wear the hijab and not forced. It even says in the quran itself no one should force it. So whomever does is sinning.
I mean I have definitely seen hair that made me feel a type of way. Hair can transform a person. But yeah just depends where and how you were raised, genetics and stuff. Some are more hornied than others about things. It's not about being outdated as much as it is apart of who they are and their relationship they cherrish with their God.
Suppose, for a moment, that you were a typical Western woman who for some reason had to move to a country where female toplessness was the norm. How comfortable with it would YOU be?

"Hijab" literally means body covering. Various religions have their own interpretations of hijab, specifying different requirements for men and women. The concept of hijab exists in religions such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism, emphasizing modesty and body covering. The extent of covering varies based on the religious principles. Hence, hijab is not inherently outdated because it involves covering one's body.
In Islam, Muslim men are required to cover at least from their navel to their knees, demonstrating that hijab applies to men as well. This practice is not exclusive to Muslim men; many men worldwide cover this way. The idea that hijab is outdated may result from media narratives that often focus solely on Muslim women.
It's worth noting that the concept of hijab exists in the Bible, with directives for women to cover their heads and bodies modestly. Similar guidance may exist in Jewish and Hindu scriptures, where traditional clothing and practices emphasize modesty and body covering. The common theme is that hijab involves modesty and covering, and it remains relevant within these religious contexts. In a word, YES. Of course it is. People have a lot to say in defense of it, or offering justification for it.
BUT, In the most simple explanation, for why it’s problematic, it boils down to one thing: CHOICE.If you want to wear one, for whatever reason, great - no problem. Go for it.
HOWEVER, the fact remains that most woman are NOT given a choice. It’s as simple as that.
Wear one, or don’t, but when you FORCE woman to wear one, that’s where it becomes a problem.Basically it is just religious beliefs.. Nuns wear head coverings and similar clothes too
It all depends on how religious you are..
I don't think anyone should wear a burka or niqab because your face is a normal thing to be seen and so you know who people are and the quran doesn't say it needs to be covered.. but as long is it is their choice to wear it and not forced like in some countries I don't see a problem with it..I don't think it's a modest outfit, in fact fashion outfit and getting trends in middle class and elite class female showing unique identity of purity.
It is a pre islamic and Judaism innovatived in Greece elite class in order to distinguish between slaves female and free female.
Well back in like the 80s they dressed like everyone else. Until "man" like usual decided that they wanted women to wear hijabs. Just like all religions are created by man, to control population with fear. Humans are so gullible or easily brainwashed.
Clothing pieces that are worn for religious purposes can’t ever be outdated. People are allowed to step out of religions though if they please
No, this is the most outdated piece of clothing.
In that sense all beliefs are outdated... but I think it's none of concern for people who are not following any religion lol Iike really
All I know is that the Taliban deserve some cobalt 60 up the tailpipe for what they did to women. And Joe and the Hoe can join them!
hindu is older... but the reason not outdated.
Religion needs a good update, it was updated for the time it was written.
Nothing disgusts me more than a girl wearing hijab!
It’s definitely outdated but it’s their religion that will probably never change, it doesn’t make any sense but they will still do it just like turbins and beards with the Hindu religion, which has to be really hot to wear in the summer
fashion is never outdated. it always comes back sooner or later.
Not at all! If I see form dress like that I automatically avoid her..
No, to me the practice of female genitalia circumcising is way more outdated.
It has no. place in Western nations or nations that don't go by Islamic law.
I don't know why they wear that cause to me they make them look even sexier
