Do you think God would want you to abandon your career to be a full time mom?

I think I could make a ton of money with my business idea but I think God is showing me through signals and gut feelings that I'm meant to be a wife, and not a career woman.

I don't have children but I like kids, just never got married so never planned to have kids.

Not sure it has to be an either/or, but if you have a chance at building a loving family I would not sacrifice that for a career. If you are meant to write, family life will probably provide inspiration in any case.

I'm not religious, so I don't really let my life be guided or dictated by a God. Of course if you do feel comfortable with it, I have no problem with that at all. However, I think it's always important to listen to your heart and do what makes you happy. Is your business idea precious to you and would you really like to see your business thrive? Or do you like the idea of raising kids and creating a family of your own? What if you focus on your business first and then maybe sell it at some point so you can focus on becoming a mom? If you're currently financially stable and happy, I would say either option is as justifiable as the other. Follow your heart! :)
