Muslims, Christians & Jews all worship the same exact God. How does this make you feel?

The term Abrahamic religions refers to the categorization of certain religions; most notably Judaism, Christianity and Islam, centered around the worship of one God (God in Abrahamic religions). Abraham, a Hebrew patriarch, Islamic prophet is extensively mentioned in the religious scriptures of the Hebrew and Christian Bibles, and the Quran.

It's sad listening to my orthodox christian in laws talk about "we need to wipe out all those islam animals" yet they believe women should cover up lest they be "sluts", women have no rights other than to "accept seed" and promulgate God's kingdom, they fear and openly persecute anyone perceived as "different" and believe in armed violence against those who oppose their beliefs.

When I point this out they label me a "liberal" who does not understand "God's will".

Christianity is a loving God, in some aspects anyways... they are children of God, which root was Love

False. God is indeed the Holy one of Israel however Jews reject that he sent Jesus-his son. Muslims reject that Jesus is the son of God and that he died on the cross. The other 2 call God a liar, so no we don't worship the same God

Actually, we all including Hindus worship the same divine power. It's just the different forms of religions and gods we follow. We humans made so much technological advancements but we failed to understand there is only one divine power behind all gods. I still don't get it, why we are fighting and killing each other? Hindus worship multiple, fictional gods. Muslims and Jews worship one fictional god. Christians worship either one or three, depending on how the convoluted story is explained. :)

Jews and Christians yes. The Old Testament is the foundation of Christian beliefs and without it there can be no Christianity.

Islam is different. It claims Abraham as it's foundation but the god of the Quran is definitely not the same as the God of the Bible and Judaism.

Islam does not follow the same God as Judaism and Christianity. They use the same history up to Abraham then Islam moves off at such a wild tangent it's a corruption. The Judeo-Christian God is all about mercy, love and relationship. The islamic god is about hate and violence. Polar opposites.

Within the context of the Old Testament alone, God is about Love, Restoration and Relationship. It's also about Justice. God gives Dominion - a word not used to describe any other created being - over Earth to mankind. Mankind then delegates that authority to Satan.

The Old Testament isn't about a vengeful god out to destroy. That would be the Greek and Roman gods. In the Bible they're referred to as demons.

God spoke mankind into existence so only by speaking into existence can a redeemer be created. God spends the Old Testament inspiring the creative speech to speak the Messiah into existence. Hundreds of highly specific prophecies about what the Messiah would be like and what he would do including:
Birthplace
Family line
Immaculate conception
Betrayed by a close friend
Executed by crucifixion
Beaten to a bloody mess
No broken bones
Resurrection on the 3rd day

There are hundreds more. Mathematical odds of any human meeting just six are high enough to be considered impossible in any court yet eyewitness accounts - not limited to the Bible - show Yeshua, a carpenter and teacher - meets every single one. He's given the title Christos - the Anointed One - the Greek translation of Messiah.

He extended love to every person he met, so naturally our ancestors killed him. His Love exposed their hypocrisy. Isaiah's writing is highly sanitised in English. When he says our own "righteousness" is "filthy rags" the literal translation to modern English would be "a discarded, used until it could do nothing more tampon". That filthy "righteousness" is what murdered Jesus. It's also what murders in the name of all religions today

Scripturally, Jesus cannot be God. We (Muslims), Jews, and Christians do worship the same Lord, however it is the other details that are different.

Christians and Muslims recognize Jesus (Isa for we Muslims) as the Messiah, Jews don't. Christians view Jesus as part of a triune God, this is blasphemy for Jews and Muslims.

That said, there is a division within the church over whether or not boobs are also acceptable objects of worship. Some see them as a helpful intermediary between man and butt, while others think demons live inside boobs. Thoughts on this?
