Thanks for the informative responses. I’ve come to the conclusion that is is in fact: “Anti-Woman”, because otherwise men would be dressing the same way to respect God. Such practice should be eliminated!

In the West you have alleged "freedom of expression" unless it's something a white guy doesn't like. In which is it's "freedom of Christians expression only". But even then the "hijab" is something Mary and many female Christians are depicted as wearing in their arts!

Hijab and nigab have nothing to do with islam. They are arab traditional clothings. Nomadic arab bedouins were using them way before islam to protect themselves from sunrays while dwelling in deserts

The thing is arabs are using islam as a tool of arabization. They are pushing their own language, culture and way of life into other people especially to non arab muslims under the disguise of religion.

As a non arab muslim myself (Turkish) . This is purebred cultural imperialism for me. I dont like nigab or hijab either.

The idea that the more of her body a woman covers, the greater her respect for god is simply coercive indoctrination and exactly the type of imperious lies which make religion pernicious. Human society needs to rid itself of this.

There are multiple layers to it. One is to protect the skin in dry desert environments and preserve beauty. Totally impractical anywhere else and black is not the ideal colour at all. Another is that it hides a woman from other men, protecting the husband’s insecurities. The third is it makes women come across as somewhat of a commodity rather than individual people with their own sense of expression.

No other attire can get more modest than this. Just because other people gave into so called modernity, nudity and lewdness, doesn't mean that believers need to do so either. There is no chance objectification or looking good to random men at streets when a pious woman covers herself under the niqab.

realisticly though the goal of "most modest" is not matching the need of what to cover. so women wear bikini to cover the stuff that needs covering. the apt response to "nudity" you wrote is not the opposite extreme. extremes are just as bad.

Anything that is forced on someone is invariably wrong, for this certain countries enforce expectations on women by law, not obeying these laws can be seen in the likes of Iran. Imagine a country (or state) that does not allow woman a say over their own bodies (invariably due to religion) that is lack of freedom and is wrong. If women want to because of their beliefs, then that is okay.

We were born in our birthday suits. Clothing with the intention of covering your natural beauty which is meant to attract mates goes against our biology. Well to be fair as someone that's read into both religions, my own and Islam, I've realized it speaks similar but different about women, islam seems to treat them like they are less than men and I found that somewhat twisted, hijabs are about purity but I don't know if it's just being unfair again. 🤔

There is a big difference. While most Muslims are fine with the hijab based on personal choice, most (except for a few countries and some rural cultures) do not practice or even agree with the Niqaab or Burqa.

With hijaab, if rhey choose to wear it, at least they are practicing the same that Moses and Jesus taught and was followed. You all are blinded by Paulianity and modernity.
