I believe when you do virtue signalling by doing good deeds publicly, God shortens your life, not a little but a lot, you might die at 25 if you do that often enough.

But when you practice self shaming by hiding all your good deeds, God lengthens your life, allowing you to live to over a hundred years old.

Did God say that exactly in those words in any of the books? Did a prophet say God told him so? I will have to research that.

There are clues to it in the Jewish bible but I will not discuss it because it’s such an uncommon methodology of reading scripture that it might get rejected, not based on its sensibleness but on the method this sensibility was extracted.
