Why do so many Christians not do premarital sex but are fine with billionaires?

Premarital sex was never mentioned directly by Jesus but Jesus spoke many times about excessive wealth being sinful. Why don't we see a mass Christian movement against the ultra wealthy.

Because modern Christianity is more of a social institution than a religious one. It's not about faith, and it's certainly not about morality, it's about social adhesion and status. People let the poor starve and hire special security to move the homeless and the hookers along, but it's of vital importance that the government display the ten Commandments. We had a question here just the other day about whether "liberal Christian" was an oxymoron.

They build gated communities and then wonder why God doesn't talk to them any more.

I'm not really sure if this comparison is valid. Nevertheless...

Jesus, during the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5 did reiterate the Sixth Commandment which prohibits adultery. True, adultery is defined as sex between a married person and an unmarried person. However, He did also say that those who even look lustfully on a woman have already committed adultery in their hearts; He essentially raises the standard of sexual morality. Plus, a few chapters later, He notes that there are those who renounce marriage for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 19.12), indicating that celibacy is a higher way of life. Lastly here, Saint Paul notes that neither "adulterers nor fornicators" will not inherit the Kingdom (1 Corinthians 6.9). Fornication is itself sex between an unmarried man and an unmarried woman. So quite frankly, the idea that premarital sex should be off the hook is patently absurd.

As for rich people? Jesus didn't have quite as much to say about them as people today might like to think. Even so, His interactions with rich people were pretty mixed. I don't recall Him condemning Zacchaeus, Nicodemus, or the Roman Centurion, whose servant He healed (most likely would have been wealthy). His followers didn't condemn Joseph of Arimathea, who offered the Tomb for the burial of Jesus. And ultimately, in Matthew 6.21, He says that where your treasure is, there will your heart be too. So basically, you can have wealth, but must remember your final end and the poor.

Plus, let's just call it like it is. If wealth were inherently a bad thing, the Catholic Church would be blatantly disobedient and just plain wrong to canonize men and women as Saints who were royalty, heads of state, lawyers and accountants, and other people of material wealth.

Luke 18 was talking about putting wealth first, not just having great wealth. Solomon was wealthy beyond belief, but his condemnation came from allowing his foreign wives to lead him into idolatry, not the welath.

A lot, I would say most, of Christians do premarital sex; most that I know do/have done.

He said excessive wealth for Christians could be sinful, he didn't say anything about taking other peoples money. So while an ultra-wealthy Christian may have some qualms, there is nothing that would/should cause a mass Christian movement against the wealthy.
