I don't believe in Heaven but if it was real then going to a happy ever after is way better than watching (get more boring than watching an eternity of Love Island on repeat). It would be cool if you had some control or influence over peopl. Then I'd choose spectate.

As for rebirth? This is the option I believe happens. Not "us" but the energy or spark that goes into life creation gets reused. But ugh life is hard! And without previous memory and experience your likely to just make a mess of it over and over so nah, I don't feel like a rinse and repeat. Hence heaven a better option.

what if it's like: joke's on you, heaven doesn't exist, so it's eternal nothingness for you. i'd go back to restart cause i know life is a thing that exists from personal experience.

This is not a question of whether they exist or not. I don't believe in Heaven or being able to spectate things on earth as an ethereal spirit either. You have to assume for this question that they're real.

Heaven sounds boring AF. It would be excruciatingly boring to continue for eons of time. The only way Heaven would be good is if we awoke every day in good health, with no knowledge of the time passed. Each day we would wake up and believe we were alive on Earth and 25 or 30 or 35 years old.

I think that's the idea. You are in a paradise built just for you. So your most perfect ideal location/people/age/situation. And you won't get bored because it's built in to always enjoy and appreciate it too. Like you said, no knowledge of time and reality.
Like living in a coma dream and never knowing.
But ha... is that real pleasure?
That's also why I strongly believe heaven can't and doesn't exist. It serves no purpose to "trap" souls this way.

Isn't it crazy how so many do believe tho? Like how impossible it is but people believe? Is accepting death as a finality or a moral good life as not being rewarded over a terrible person really too bitter a pill to swallow? Is it about needing to feel a meaning of life? I'd rather find meaning in tje present than thinking it comes after death.
