Is it normal to feel comforted by familiar Christian culture around me?

I like knowing that a lot of the professionals I know in government sponsored industries are Christian, since I view real Christianity as a behavioural safety net, that guarantees a certain basic standard of conduct, respect, and kindness towards others, and I have had things to compare that with, such as facing discrimination by non-Christian racists while travelling in other countries.

I remember I was on vacation in a non-religious and highly secular country and I was waiting to go the washroom before my flight to another location, I was desperate for a washroom break and it was my turn to go to the washroom, and a random atheist runs in front of me in line and snatches the turn that I lined up for and should have taken when I needed to go to the washroom.

I also remember when I tried to photograph foreign fruits during my vacation, the people selling the fruits were stingy atheists and they told me I was not allowed to photograph the fruits they planted unless I purchased the fruits with my own money.

And I also know people who do not share my religious beliefs that will tell lies about me to others, either because they view me as an easy target, or because they are jealous I have certain blessings in my life that they do not.

So it is comforting for me, when I know that the medical professional or other hired professional I am dealing with is a Christian, a REAL one, that treats people with respect and obeys the law, since many do not do that and commit fraud at work.
