Can science define love? Why can't it. Science cannot define existence. But love is easy. I honestly probably turned into such a lovebird because of high oxytocin levels during puberty. I was researching how to maximize the opportunity that puberty presents. I illegally purchased a strain of bacteria that is strongly scientifically proven to increase oxytocin levels, so i used it to ferment any food that is fermentable by it. It does as a side effect increase testosterone too. I didn't turn into a fag or anything but what it does is make you feel at baseline similar to how it feels to be in love but minus the endorphin rush. I actually honestly dislike endorphins and prefer opiate antagonism. Oddly, after a stoppage and inspection, the border allowed my illegal opiate blockers to arrive. endorphin blockade actually increases monkey testosterone 10-fold and in humans it additionally increases growth hormone too. But it is temporary until your receptors adapt. Actually pretty good to prevent your gonadotropins from plummeting while using actual exogenous testosterone.
Did you say something about religion and spirituality? I was busy with the science of love...
Science cannot define existence but religion is designed to answer the question about existence without providing 0 actual data.
Yes.
Feelings, personality, emotions... they can seem something abstract, but actually, they're as physical as our body; they're the result of neurons, hormones, etcetera interct.
Even loyalty is a result of the brain; we have neurotransmitters and hormones that make us behave in a certain way and make certain choices.
I'm Italian and I'm not as fluent in English, I could explain better in Italian, but I think I gave you the general idea.
If there is no god then you are responsible for the good and bad you do in your life and the meaning you create.
Breathe... there you go, you've got it!
Good luck.
It's an apples and oranges comparison but yes you can actually see specific brain activity in MRI scans when people look at someone they love.
Sometimes there isn't always a meaning for everything
There is a god and science can never give you the right answer to love cause it's supernatural and given to us from god!
If there's no God, why are there buxom birdies?
If there's no God, then "science" can define everything any way it wants, because there's no standard to go by
Why just one god not gods?
Yep. It’s psychological.
They have. Are you still this far behind?
You’re not wrong
Science can't define feelings
