Cheating is already awful but to then do the nasty deed in your partner's house (not even nor own house at least) has got to be one of the worst insults ever.

This happened to a good friend of mine. Her ex boyfriend (then boyfriend) had the nerve to bring the other woman to her house, do the nasty deed on her own couch, heads towards the bathroom with her to take a shower, eat some of her food from the fridge and used her wine bottle.

Even though she didn't walk in on them (she was working), she installed a hidden camera because his behavior changed. The next week, she viewed her camera and dumped him immediately. To her that was even worse than walking in on them cheating.

Obviously both ways are horrible ways to discover you've been cheated on but which would be worse to you?

- The old classical way of coming early from work or whatever reason and walking in on them cheating.

- Reviewing your installed camera the next day or week later and seeing what happened while you were gone.

I'm really trying to become more social, I have already made a progress but when it comes to these places, I just can't find the appeal and will to go there. My sisters don't understand, they're the more "normal" ones. I've used to prefer staying at home and videogames, now I have gotten more extroverted but I'm still more of an introvert, an ambivert maybe, and I just don't want to do something that's so unlike me.

So that's why I'm asking and please be honest guys, what you think about this issue of mine?

I don't like alcohol, I don't want to dance and be surrounded by such a huge number of alcohol (and whatever else) influenced people.

I don't really want a boyfriend who'd be a party animal in the first place. It's fine if he wants to go out but I prefer quieter settings and I must say that nothing beats home in the end (at least for me).

if she says her nose is ugly will you now notice that it IS UGLY and find it a turn off?

is it better if we don't say these things?

for example I want to get a nose job, I don't like my nose but my boyfriend has never said anything about my nose, if I say it, will he then start to notice it? and find it attractive? therefore finding ME somewhat unattractive now?

let's say it's you and your girlfriend, would you now find it a turn off?

28F, growing up some family members would always talk about me having a boyfriend. I figured relationships would just happen naturally but not the case (at least for me). But dating always felt somewhat “meh” for me since then, not a priority & my mindset hasn’t changed much. In my early twenties I tried using the apps more frequently, to this day I don’t have an issue getting matches but finding someone just hasn’t happened. I’m told I’m attractive but I experience the common issues with lack of connection, fizzling out, ghosting etc. The last time I saw someone was in my early twenties but it felt like settling & I was glad when it ended. To this day I promise myself that I will stay alone until I meet someone that really checks my boxes and that seems to be how it’ll end for me considering I’m almost 30. Not sexual at all by any means either, is this lack of interest common? I worry mine is because of lack of success versus being genuinely disinterested
