I met this girl at work. I thought she was beautiful and I asked if I could take her out. We vibed and she eventually said yes. At this point to my knowledge she is single because she told me she want talking to anyone. We went bowling on our second date and I kissed her because I thought it was right. The next time we hang out she tells me that she doesn't want to lead me on and that she has gone back talking to her ex again because ehe blocked her for some reason. She said that it was a mistake kissing and hanging out and that she would like to be friends. I was hurt and confused. So about a week has gone by since we became friends. She told me the reason she felt that way was because I am not her type. We are on our second week of being friends and I can't take it anymore. I think I fell for her. She tells me that she talks to these guys and how they are cute and this and that. Am I simping? I see her everyday at work and I just get my mind clouded and i start to contemplate, then i get sad and depressed and then my say is ruined. I smoke weed to try and cope with my emotions but its not working this time. I want to love her but she doesn't love or even like me. I did this once in HS, I was depressed most of the time at school. Im just confused on what to do… i know what must be done but I can't. I need advice… please 😢

I've been in two at this point, there was a girl I was with for 6 months in 2020 but she had her mom tell me she passed away and months later when I was talking with who is now my girlfriend, I was given answers by her new boyfriend at the time when I begged him to say something.

She ended up messaging me but offered no explanation and the only apology i got was "I'm moving in with him in a year, sorry". While it sucks that it ended that way, I'm glad she didn't die cause the last thing I did before that stunt was pulled was ask her why she didn't tell me about the late text she got from who's now her current boyfriend at the time. Yeah, that sucked and I wish I'd been with my current girlfriend from the start.

Me and her are still together and going strong. We talk every single day and say "I love you" every day. She's been there for me like nobody else has and I've done the same for her and will continue to.

I've grown so happy with her that I question the way I described finding her, I said trying to find someone was like being on a planet made out of trash and fecal matter knowing that for the entire planet, there's one microscopic diamond there but the rest is literal shit and I had to dig until I found it.

Of course it was all worth it as I now experience love which is something I thought for a long time, I'd never experience in my life and it's wonderful. I'd never want to be with anyone else but I did question if describing so many people as trash and fecal matter in my analogy was too harsh.

However, as soon as I started watching loyalty tests, yeah I'm thinking I was right on the money there, pun intended. You name it and girls + guys did it in those tests, it's sad that people are so horrible to eachother nowadays.

What do you value most in a relationship? The most important things for me are affection, support, gotta at least be cute, nice, genuine, introverted and loyal. Money is a factor but not a big one for me

Me and my long distance girlfriend have been together for 2 years and we talk every single day with a bit of communication here and there throughout the day. Some things that have prevented us from closing the distance is the fact that I didn't get vacation days at my current job of which I work 55 hours per week for the past 3 years until finally I got 2 weeks to use this year.

Her parents are divorced and she lives with her mom and 3 little brothers. Her mom is too crazy as well as being physically and mentally handicapped, she's been afraid that if she tells her mom, she'll kick her out. My girlfriend helps her work but gets very little and she drives her 3 little brothers to and from school as well as her mom to and from work every day.

Then she cooks, cleans the dishes, puts them away, goes grocery shopping, does the laundry and folds it, vacuums, takes her brothers to and from their sports games at night every day, takes them to and from church and her dad's house, and she also goes to college full time.

In between each of those things, we talk. She also pays her student loans by herself since her mom won't pay and her dad won't either but I help her as best I can with the money I have to keep her afloat. I'm pursuing a career soon but I want to see her first with my vacation days as it'll likely be at least a year before I get vacation time in my career but she's very scared of being caught although one of her good cousins knows and is supportive of us.

I love her with all of my heart and I understand why she doesn't want her mom to know but I'm tired of her family members holding her and us back. I live at home, too but that's due to the recent rent spike in which rent literally tripled and now I can't afford my own place until i start my career. My family members have drained me and I disconnected with them. She and I intend to have her move in with me in 2 years but her family needs to stop leaning on her, what should I do?
