@CottonMuffin when in doubt look at the natural world which is untainted by idealist psychos. Even in animals the male goes to hunt for the food whilst the female stays with the cubs. Why would nature give the female the breasts to nurse young if the male was supposed to stay in? It's fighting nature. We're just bored as a species and looking to rock the boat for entertainment. thats not the issue honey. modern feminism isn't about equality. women are previledged already in society. whether in crime punishment, divorce, etc and women make the same money until 40 in Canada according to my buisness law class.
modern radical feminism is oppressive towards men because though women are previledged more than men in modern society, they keep pushing for more as if theyre stuck in the 60s.

@Rainie_ there's diversity in nature I'll give you that but you take the general trend and form the rule. Not all animals form a family unit. Most do. And it's always the male brings home the bread. I'm not attenborough but I know enough about the natural world. My missus had a career and was more than happy to give it up for our kids. She can't understand how a woman could pick a career over time with the kids. Her sister n law a case in point. More interested in wrk and is distant even when around the kids. Just makes all the right faces and noises but it's obvious she couldn't give a shit. My missus hates her. Said she's a shallow self centered bitch. I don't have any time for her either. Fukin phony so she is. The kids are aggressive as hell. They sense their mum doesn't care. It's all about priorities. Men are the ones supposed to suffer and lose time with the kids not women.

To me feminism is a state where a female does what she wants, is comfortable with and in no ways a set of rules that must b followed (as it is being done in today's world)

in my opinion, the "root" of feminism is the pay gap. All other issues of unfairness that women have can either be traced back to that or are made up.

I mean the fact that women are paid 70 cents on the dollar. That's simply a fact. You can get fussy about why it's a fact, but you're just being stupid on purpose if you want to say it's not a fact and be taken seriously.
For a lot of troubled men these days the cause of their ways are due to a lack of a father figure. The london riots are often described as a bunch of fatherless teens venting fustration.

That's not what I meant. Women are equal to men but that doesn't mean they can do (not that they don't have the right to but rather it's not possible for them to do) everything men can do.

You're obviously criticizing these "feminists" that believe this. In one part you claim you're not, but then you go on ascribing these beliefs to them, using language like 'they think that...'
I don't even understand what you're suggesting here. You're just listing these bad things that you're not even sure if feminists believe or not and then saying that somehow these things are caused by feminists.
I'm a feminist. Am I causing all of these problems? Do I believe these things? Which feminist movement, exactly (as they are all different and often have opposite beliefs) are you blaming for this tragedy that you seem to believe has befallen our culture?

She's pointing out the problems in the modern third wave feminist movement itself, she's not implying that ALL feminists think like this/act like this.
These things do not apply in most cases when judges make rulings. There's just as much evidence that men are treated equally as women are.
These are hardly double, triple or even single standards. It's generally total standards.
Other than the evidence that men get up to 63% longer sentences for the same crime, prostate cancer kills as many as breast cancer yet breast cancer gets more Government funding than prostrate and lung cancer combined, men commit suicide at 4 times the rate (10 times in the recently divorced demographic), have to sign up for Selective Service for the right to vote, get state and federal jobs and grants and scholarships, are 99% of those on death row despite being 88% of convicted killers, and on and on and on and on. Do you get yet that these all point towards you being completely full of it? Would you like to get into family court discussions? Or maybe taxes? Hmmm?
liberals heads are going to pop off when you fit them with facts like this. Be prepared to be called a sexist, bigot and a racist. that's the only response they have for factual arguments like this. Bravo to you!

I agree with the whole non-feminist post and I don't see myself as a feminist, however circumcision is very different to female genital mutilation. There's nothing you can cut off on a female, that won't cause severe pain for the rest of her life, whereas circumcision is a very common procedure. Just saying.

And there are many women in Indonesia who have undergone a mild form of female genital cutting who don't have permanent pain or sexual issues.
@sageevalentine Except the most common form of FGM is NOT the full removal of the clitoris. The 2 most common forms are a pin prick to draw a drop of blood and the removal of a small part of the labia. So your typical feminist attempt to derail the point by comparing apples to oranges doesn't work. And of course you seem to skip right over the fact that FGM IS ILLEGAL!!! And you may not call yourself a feminist but you've sure drunk the Kool-Aid by not grasping the blatant double standard in calling the same type of procedure done to a male child as "circumcision" while calling the female version mutilation. Thank you for demonstrating the point of double standards quite well.
