Look, it's not hard.
1) The right to one's property is a fundamental human right.
2) One thus has COMPLETE SOVEREIGNTY over their property!
3) Thus, they can allow whomever and whatever THEY WANT on their property!
It's a fundamental human right to decide whom you want to allow on your property. This can be gays, Mexicans, Blacks, Donald Trump, or people you think are ugly. Just like you can choose whom comes into your house, you can choose whom enters your business.
Libtards need to stop with this; it's not hard to understand fundamental rights.
If you were talking about your personal property I'd agree completely. But this is property that is for rent. This is identical to the Jim Crow laws that were found to be unconstitutional 50 years ago.
@Intraluminal The difference here is that people can actually find other businesses that will serve them. The Jim Crow laws were literally a form of apartheid. As you yourself stated those who deny marriage to same sex couples need to direct them to a place that does perform them.

IF it were always true that there were other businesses available, you would still be wrong. That rationale was used against black people when the South instituted the Jim Crow "separate but equal" laws.
HOWEVER, there are many smaller town in which this is NOT true. There may be only one bakery BM etc.
The important thing to consider is that all businesses benefit from law enforcement, fire departments, inspections, etc. all of which are paid for by the public, of which gays are a part.
But you don't know anyone who fits into those groups who means something to you?

Yeah, this other guy on here had a good idea. He said that people should just be able to personally decide what they want. And that the new bill is mostly bad because it targets the lgbt, instead of just giving business owners more freedom to decide what they want. Or following the amendment like how you said.

This is the religious far right's response to the Obergefell v. Hodges decision. They are trying to act like a persecuted minority because they don't get what they want 100% of the time. How two gay people getting married and simply asking for business services on par with the rest of society is taking any of their rights away is beyond me. This law, like the NC one, will not survive.
That bill can be abused against gays but also against any religion the business owner hates, Buddhists, Sikhs, Hindus, native American religion, Jews, Bahai, even against other Christian deminations. It can also be abused against atheists.
Where's the First Amendment? Is it invalid in that state now? Or do they plan to secede to establish a theocracy?

The thing is everyone is so obsessed with telling people that the HAVE to accept certain things these days. Fact is some people don't agree with the LGBT community and like it or not, those people should have the rights to uphold their beliefs instead of being forced to get behind something the truly don't agree with.

let's rephrase this. people can think what they want, but the actually act on it is different. if someone is racist and owns a store, that's his opinion, but to allow said person to actively refuse black people into said establishment on the basis of their skin is illegal. there's a difference between thoughts and actions. especially when it comes to things that are not in their control. moreover, who says that that person's right and entitled to do so to begin with? if someone kills a dude cause the other dude stepped on his shoe doesn't make the murder justified. not only is it fucked up from a moral standpoint, but there are laws specifically against that type of thing. we've literally seen this in the 50's and 60's with segregation and 60's-80's with lgbt. so no, i didn't jump the gun. thanks for trying. i know what i said, what i believe, what the laws are, what you said and i'm precise about it. da fuck outta here with dat weak shit. gotta try harder than that homeboy
