Feminism. Yes, I just went there.
No, put down the dictionary, it doesn't have any power today. "By definition" doesn't have any power today. Because it's satire today. It's the day where we see feminism as an umbrella; and treat all directions of it as the same. Feminism. Also we're going to go far out, FAR out.
Isn't it hillarious when their defence against criticism is a textbook definition? Not concrete examples of what positive things they have achieved? Why do they turn to the dictionary, instead of all the GOOD things feminism has done throughout the time. Like the right to vote, the sexual liberation, you name it. Why the dictionary? Are they afraid to show the world what they have achieved?
Moving on.
How many have heard the saying "all men are dogs", from the same ogranisation that says "women are equal to men"? It's funny, because they're not contradicting statements at all. It just means guys have been right all the time when calling women bitches. Oh right, that's not okay and that's sexist. So why isn't it considered sexist to call men "dogs"?

And since i promised to be brief, this will be the last paragraph.
Isn't it funny that feminism now seems to be about how MEN need to change? How it's always HIS fault? Take drunken sex for example. If he is drunk and she is drunk, he needs to be of better constitution, better judgement, and stronger resolve than the woman, or else he's a rapist. Or in case of children, if they both consent and have sex and the girl gets pregnant, he is more capable than she is so he needs to pay for whatever choice she makes regarding the baby.
Or to boil it down. They want to live in a world where they can wear what they want, go wherever they want, and nothing bad will ever happen. And they want the men to make that happen. Or to boil it down further; they demand men to create the world they want to live in, because they seemingly admit to be unable to do it themselves. And isn't that admitting that men are superior?
Okay i'm done. Bring on the comments. I'm a man and by feminist logic i can take it, so it's okay

The women who are bitching about slut-shaming and whining that they shouldn't face any criticism, aren't representing the true meaning of Feminism. They may call it that, but that's not what Feminism is about, as you've pointed out in some cases. People who are aware that these women don't seem to understand what the Feminist movement was really about, just ignore their behaviour and stupid claims. I, as a woman, am ashamed by those women for my gender, because they are making Feminism look trivial by misrepresenting what it is. They're ignorant and hypocritical, so just know that not all women hold that same view point as the women you have described. Some of us know and respect the true meaning of Feminism and know that it's about equality, not dominance.
so i ask the interestig question; what will you do about it?
Cry "no true scotsman" or clean up your own ranks?
It's absurd to say I have to do anything about, and why would? They have the freedom and right to believe what they want, and I won't invite conflict into my life just try to force awareness. That's like me asking you why you haven't done something about all the abusive men who think they're superior to women? Because we live our lives as we choose and by what we believe. I was simply putting out that all women do not hold those views and it's stupid to think we do. Now you have some awareness.
fair enough to me. Just sems so many true-to-the-old-way feminists (you know, the good kind of feminism that gained women the right to vote, spearheaded the sexual liberation and stuff) seem to just fall back on the "they're not feminism" and do nothing about radical feminism destroying the rep they've built up over decades. It just seems completely absurd to me that they're just letting it happen.
But you're right, not your life, not your responsibility unless you make it.
I just wanted to hear your opinion on it if that's okay
What right do I have to stop other women from expressing their views and beliefs? The answer is none. I know the difference between what they are saying and whether it's accurate or not, and so do some other people, but I don't need to chase after them telling everyone else not to listen to them, what a waste of my time that would be.
