I have always wanted to visit New York City. I have wondered what it would be like to visit Brooklyn, Queens,Long Island, Manhattan and all those Burroughs. I want to see a Broadway play and stroll down Wall Street. Go to Coney Island and.eat a New York hot dog. I bet the view from the Empire State Building,Chrysler Building and Statue of Liberty is very nice. It would also be a treat to see The Tonight Show and the Today Show live in Rockefeller Center.
San Francisco, California
I know this place gets a lot of flack for being the so-called Liberal capital of the world. But, this place is just so historical. It would be nice to ride in one of those trolleys up and down the hills with the houses like in the movie Mrs. Doubtfire. Ashbury and Haight seems like it's a cool place. The Golden Gate Bridge looks lovely as well. Alcatraz Island seems like it would ve very cool to visit a haunted prison.
New Orleans, Louisiana
This is pretty much the ultimate food lovers destination right here. So much culinary history! The French Quarter is lined with restaurants so I've heard. The Dixieland music and Jazz music ringing out from the clubs. I have always wanted to try Cajun food such as Jambalaya and Crawfish. I bet the fishing in the Gulf of.Mexico and on the Mississippi River is just perfect.
Las Vegas, Nevada
The Neon lights to me would look so cool. However,I think there would be more to Vegas to me than the gambling. There is a lot of Wild West history in Nevada in general. I guess I would be more interested in that and the Hoover Dam than I would be pulling a slot machine handle, although I may give it a go. From reading @Ginnyweasley97 's mytakes Nevada seems like a cool place with all the ghost towns and strange but cool tourist traps.
Dallas,Texas
Dallas looks like an amazing place. Actually,Texas in general does. I think it would be amazing to see a Cowboys game. Go to Fort Worth to the stockyards and rodeo. And, Texas would be my ideal place to eat a steak.
If you all could give me any advice and tips on these cities , please feel free to comment! Next time I hope to do an international version.
5 Places I Want to See Before I Die: U.S. Edition.
I've heard so many amazing things about it. Mardi Gras seems like it would be fun, but I also hear it gets wild. I would probably want to go for all the food. Especially the Bengiets. The only thing that would confuse me is in some parts they speak mostly French which I only know a few phrases and words.
I just want to go for the beignets and jazz and I will die happy. By the way, I am working on a my take all I have to say is that it has to do with badass women so look out for it.
The 5 places I would like most to spend time at in the U. S. are:
1: The north slope of the Brooks Range and the adjacent tundra in northern Alaska. This is the very remote side of the mountains, where there are thousands of square miles of wilderness tundra without any roads or towns whatsoever. The goal would be to search for, find, and photograph Interior Grizzly Bears, Barren Ground Caribou, Alaska-Yukon Moose, and Dall Sheep.
2: The Allagash Wilderness Waterway in northern Maine. This trip involves a two-week canoe trip down rivers that run through a very remote, undeveloped wilderness area. My goals would be to fish for trout and Smallmouth Bass and to photograph Deer, Black Bear, Moose, and Taiga-phase Spruce Grouse.
3: The Gunnison Sage Grouse leks (breeding grounds) in the sagebrush habitat around Gunnison, Colorado. These breeding grounds are completely closed to all human access (except for licensed government biologists), so this would be more of a "fantasy come true" than a trip that could actually be undertaken.
4: Denali National Park in central Alaska. Yes, it is a national park, which means that it attracts a lot of people. But if you are willing and able to hike good distances, you can get away from everyone else and have huge, vast expanses of wilderness all to yourself!
5: The wilderness wetland areas around Barrow, Alaska. This is one of the best places in the United States to ovsrve and photograph all 4 species of Eiders!
