I think its kind of biased. The standard of men is set based on the bodies not on looks. Where are those pretty boys, who may not be that muscular, rugged looked but very beautiful.

These standards are all the same. It's so boring when 90% of females like the same type of guy. Tall, somewhat muscular, more attractive if he has tattoos. I guess us average/below average guys aren't appreciated in our own special way (s).

nah, i think female preferences are FAR more varied because women will place more importance on his career too, for example. You rarely see a handsome man with an unattractive female but you will see vice versa quite often. It's just how it works. It's why women go to crazy lengths for beauty, because we are so heavily defined by it in the face of men and other women.
