I only own dumb bells. The most I've done is 315 lbs (bench, not dumbbell press). And I have no interest in either convincing you or posting pics/video of myself. But I will say this, I assume you go to a gym, look around, I bet you the majority of the guys there can hit 225. If the majority can do it than it can't be that hard.
Basically, being able to put up 225 just says you workout.
Well considering that 6 45lb weights is 270lbs 225 really isn't that bad.

I promise you they can, WR can hit that, wr aren't big and spend next to no time in the gym. Seriously, go to your local gym and watch, most of the guys there will be able to bench 225. Seriously, try it.

I'm not talking about one rep either, and like you said it's a solid BASE, that's it a base. You're not impressing anyone with repping 225. I use to superset 245 bench press with a 75 dumbbell press. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's not omg 225 either. And yes wr are small, that's my point, they aren't big and they can do it. And you knowthey aren't spending a ton of time on the weights, so you really think a skinny wr who barely even lifts can do it but your average gym rat can't? That's all they we do is lift. It's what we do.

It got more to do with functional and agile strength and lol Video or it didn't happened brah. and yea well if you really "gym rat" then yea you got good base implying gym rat is jacked and have been lifting for at least year and yea well not everyone can still bench it lol I can tag u in video of doing 285 on bench and 465 on squats for rms, I started from 205 and had more agile strength than kids my age that time so yea it is base but for most of people aka 80%. It's way more than base lol
