White privilege isn't dumb, it's just saying how things are. Using it to make innocent white people directly feel bad is dumb.
You missed another thing about white privileged. You go to a place where white people are scarcity and you can pick up a man/women several tiers better looking than you just for being white.

He has a point. If you really think about it, white men have the first pick at the best looking women. My friend once said this to me:
"When white men date black women, they typically get "Beyonces". However, when black men date white women, they usually get the Amy Schumers".
Basically... white men can get the best looking women of any race just by being white... while people of other backgrounds usually get the lesser of the tier.

The one that liked me was from chicago on holiday. I thought she was a local and didn't speak English. I was talking dirty to her for a laugh. A white woman would have slapped my jaw for the things i was saying. She was just smiling and came up to me the next day trying to get me back to her room. I was only doing it for a laugh coz i was half cut on the drink and acting the clown in front of my mates. If i hadn't been with my fiancee i might have. @RationalMale Because dating choices are influenced by what is seen in the media. If you look at the media, the main character in every show is usually a white, attractive male. So, when women identify what they want in a male... they take Q's from the media and they identify with the white, attractive male. As a result of this, white men typically get first pick at any hot girl from any cultural background. If you do a poll about what race women find most attractive, "white" will always be at the top of the list.
@fashionguy17 Which media are you talking about? Are you talking about Hollywood produced movies... made for a majority white audience in the USA and Europe? Or are you talking about Bollywood? Or maybe African films?
If you're talking about American media... the USA is still majority white. Why would then most American media NOT be made for their majority sales audience?

@realname i grew up in 1 room with a communal toilet. No heating. No money. A sweet was a luxury. Wore shoes 2 sizes too small for me for nearly a year. My dad was too sick to work after a botched operation. Every weekend hearing stories of who'd been murdered or was missing. Junkies everywhere. Alcoholics. Psychopaths who would murder you in the blink of an eye everywhere. I've got scars on my back from lying on bare metal boxsprings for years with worn out padding. Thats no exaggeration. I thought life was supposed to be full of terror and poverty. I was that used to it. Im white by the way. Most of us dont count worth a fuck in this world. there's only the haves and have nots. Me and you were have nots. Being white is worse. Everybody thinks you had it easy in life and now wants to make you suffer. Doubly fucked no matter what happens in the world. White Privilege only exists for some, but not all. If you're white walking into a majority white place of business and the owner/bosses are racist bigot's against anyone who isn't white. Then of course, white privilege all around, but throughout my 27 years of life. I've never experienced white privilege. Which doesn't bother me as all those years of working my butt off by working 3 jobs to pay for my college, and studying like mad to find good job. Really did allow me to enjoy life for all the beauty if holds.

I don't understand how white people aren't aware of white privilige. Maybe it's because you guys are inside the bubble while we are outside of it looking in or you just plain refuse to accept you are given an advantage. Maybe don't realize you are benefiting from it because you've know it all your life, sort of like a kid born rich.
All I can say is that white privilige is ALLLLLLL around you, if you just allow your ego to see it, you will see it. I mean just do some research, look at the statistics. Being white statistically gives you advantages in ALL areas of life.
Now what I've personally seen with my eyes? For example just look at the media and pop culture. Although things have slowly shifted in the recent decades, things are still predominantly white-biased. Handsome savior? White. Black guy? Dies. Asian guy? Nerdy, asexual. How often do you see an American movie with a leading Asian man in a romantic role? Ask yourself, what is the image of white people?

In any situation, being white is advantageous. You get in trouble with the cops? Alright if you're black you're fkd, if you're Asian or white you're good. Hollywood? Dominates by whites, blacks can get in as well, asians? you're fucked. Dating? Oh every girl wants a white guy, all perpetrated thanks to the media. White guys are fair once again, blacks are violent and cheat, Asians have a small penis. Sports? White guys can get in, so do black guys. Asians? fucked. Look at how much trouble jeremy lin had to go to get recognized.
Getting a job? White name, higher chances of being hired. A minority name, lower chance of being hired. This shit is all proven by statistics. The list goes on. In any situation, being white gives you the most fair advantage of life.
Every minority has their own set of limitations and challenges to face due to their race while whites don't? Why can't you see that? Whites are playing a video game on normal mode, everyone else on hard mode. I'm Asian and I need to be ABOVE average to compete with even an average white guy. I'd be 10x as hard for me to get into hollywood as well BASED ON MY RACE ALONE. How can you tell me that's not white privilige?

Everyday white privilege and the media's perpetual design of the image they want pushed upon is completely different. Though, your point is fair. It's not right for what the media does.
I'd also like to let you know that I'm not a rich white boy. I grew up in the ghetto, and faced a lot of hurdles. My view on white privilege made me non-existent to me personally, because I never grew up in a nice neighborhood. Kids in my neighborhood black, white, Asian, and Hispanic were considered thugs. Even though we didn't dress or act the part. We worked hard and 5 of my close friends (none of them are white except me) went to college together. We all worked 2+ jobs and worked our butts off for scholarships or grants. Which most of us received pretty much the same amount.
I'm not telling you my story to persuade you, but to inform you that not all whites are given life on a silver platter. I wish we could all have that given to us, but it just doesn't happen.

Jeremy Lin was a horrible event. He did nothing wrong, and two bigots took his life. The worst of it all was the 2 guys who did it pretty much got a slap on the wrist. Maybe you're right about blacks being screwed in court more, but you know what's funny. I see a lot of older white male judges. The ones from the days of bigotry. I think our focus should be more on getting rid of the older racist generations and giving more into the more accepting one.
White privilege may exist for some, and might not exist for others. Such as your statistics are based on certain cities or places where white dominate. Which still isn't right no matter what. My whole issue with the matter is that I believe other races look at whites and think every is handed to us, or made better because we're white. Those Frat boys absolutely do. The majority otherwise, more than likely don't, but that's what I've experienced in my every day life. I don't let the media decide things for me, because They're bigots.
