I have a two part system that I use to decide what to do in a bad situation:
Step 1) Can I do anything about it? If yes do something about it. If no move to step 2.
Step2) is moaning to other people likely to help? If yes moan. Of no shut the hell up and suck it up.

There are some serious issues that people do face and I would be more than willing to help them with. However moaning about white privilage and rape culture will not achieve anything. But also I think people are too quick to go for help rather than fix it themselves.

It's interest how most people who say white privilege doesn't exist are white or at least people think they're white and they're treated as one. Why? Because they take it for granted, they don't even realize they're privileged. It takes a real man to look at himself and admit he won due to certain advantages he was given.

I agree with you. People need to let go of the past. I remember in grade 12 my English teacher who is Asian went off about the white male being more priveledged and how if you're not a Christian white male then you're marginalized by society. It sounded petty as if he was rejected by a girl or a job offer because he wasn't white. When taught that and people agree with it, it will be hard to look past race. It's just skin colour. We should be focusing on personality over looks.

Lifespan can be an indicator of the hardships someone faced in life. I don't think having a heart attack from eating too much grease, suffering from gout, or smoking oneself to lung cancer is a sign of racial oppression.
And then there's always genetics. Poor white man with his bad genetics, he only lived to 69, while that high and mighty black woman lived to 74.
