Why All Bigotry Should End

Thankfully, there isn't that much bigotry anymore but there is still room for improvement. There is still some division among certain people based on race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, etc. We need unity instead of self segregation for various reasons.

You can make more friends if you accept other people; just think about all the people you can meet. You'll always have someone who has your back. You'll even have fun parties with more people.

You'll get know more about certain groups. Whether it be cultures, religions, etc. Think about how much you can learn from different groups of people.

Getting along with the opposite gender. That's one we still need to work on, even though for the most part both genders get along; we still need to eliminate the mistrust and hostility between the genders. Neither gender is superior to the other both men and women are equal. Imagine how much more humans can accomplish if there is respect among both genders.

No more bigotry based on sexual orientation; it doesn't matter if you're straight, gay, bi-sexual, asexual etc. Heterophobia and homophobia need to stop. Treating someone badly based on their sexual orientation causes more division, mistrust and resentment.

Bigotry based on race and ethnicity. I don't get why people obsess over what color their skin is. The mistrust and dislike of other people based on their race is the most common form of bigotry. If we eliminate this kind of bigotry people will meet so many people and not only that, more possibilities for romantic relationships become available.

Bigotry based on religion. We all know people like to bash each other based on religious beliefs or lack of beliefs (atheists). If everyone faces every religion or no religion can get along, people can learn more about the religion. Instead of simply learning the negative stereotypes you'll learn more positive things about a religion.

Any kind of bigotry is something that needs to end. I know there isn't that much bigotry anymore but we can still further eliminate bigotry.

There is a reason why every society and culture and religion demonizes homosexuality - even in America. Homosexuality may occur naturally (being born blind, deaf and with Downs Syndrome is also natural), but it is not normal. I don't support homosexuality mainly because I find it detrimental to society and the family unit. There is nothing normal about a gay couple adopting a child and raising it with 2 daddies or 2 mommies, and the kid didn't have a choice in being raised in a fucked up family with 2 parents that have sexual identity issues.

Same real with interracial relationships. But not so much out of racism. The upbringing of many cultures are generally incompatible. For example, Asian upbringing is often strict and based on family and respecting elders. African American families in majority have no family cohesiveness or concept of respecting elders.

Aversion to homosexuality primarily came as a result of the Abrahamic religion and any culture that despise homosexuality were most likely influenced by the Abrahamic religions. There is no signs of aversion to homosexuality in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Zoroastrian or hell even the African and Indigenous religions. Hinduism even have text that embraces homosexuality and even calls it a "natural and joyful" thing. And this is coming from a religion that holds the title of being "The Oldest Major Religion" in the world.

Africa is by far the most homophobic continent on the planet. However evidence shows that Africans didn't become this way until Western colonization occurred. Prior to colonization African nations still followed their own indigenous religions which did not condemn homosexuality.

There is not a lot of historical evidence referencing homosexuality in because it is a subject of such enormous taboo in Asia that nobody would dare to document it. In every Asian culture from Chinese, Vietnamese, South Korean, sexuality is a very reserved and conservative subject. The very notion that a person is gay will immediately earn the person deep shame and they are ostracized. Pretty much the same response as every other culture and civilization.

Also there is plenty of evidence showing Hinduism is accepting of homosexuality. The same goes for Voodoo and many American indigenous religions.

Among the 7 billion humans on the planet, only <5% openly accept gays. Despite what you hear in mainstream media and Hollywood, 98% of the human population is indifferent or against gays.

Need a high level breakdown so you don't whine about evidence again?
- India, China, Russia & South America - 4.0 billion people. As I already proved, predominantly antigay (not just indifferent) and punishable by prison time or mob lynching (in S. America and Russia).
- Middle East - 0.3 billion. Africa - 1.5 billion. Fiercely antigay, punishable by death.
- USA - 300 million. More than 50% oppose gays including Christians and Catholics. Antigay is still alive and well in America. If you're gay, take a stroll down Mississippi or Utah and watch how fast you get your ass beaten. In western society, it's only about 100-200 million that are ok with gays.

That's the reality of the world. It's not the naive fairytale world of a 22 year old who hasn't been out to see the world yet.

Article 377 in India which penalize homosexuality was introduce to Indians by the British in the 1860s. Have you forgotten that the Abahramic religion followers known as the British Empire ruled India for about 100 years and during that time imposed its will on the subcontinent and influence its culture. They only started to oppose it during the later portion of the Qing Dynasty when they tried to be more like the Western nation. China eventually saw no wrong in it and legalized homosexuality in 1997 and removed it from their list of mental illnesses in 2001.

There is no animosity between genders, just animosity between normal people and people who purposely choose to be abnormal and then complain about not being accepted as normal. A few guys I work with are rumored to be gay, and their somewhat feminine behavior suggest those rumors are probably true, but they don't bring it up so I don't care. But if you start trying to get laws passed that force people to accept you perverted behavior as normal then people will start to care and will push back.

Racism is also pretty much non existent. Most racism is from minorities against whites. Minorities refuse to accept the consequences of their actions and instead blame and hate whites. If minorities would stop having so many kids out of wedlock then most of their problems with drugs and crime and poverty would disappear. Kids were never meant to be raised by 1 parent, and until minorities get thier shit together then they will continue to live in poverty at much higher rates than whites.

Great theory, but the application... oh dear.

First, there are Values and norms, values are things people are willing to die for, breach it and it causes hate. Everyone has a different value system. One cannot just choose to 'ignore value' because it is what makes us who we are. An attack on it would mean an attack on our aspects of ourselves; think of someone ok with killing people if they dont achieve a certain trait etc. It would not be 'rude' but 'wrong'

Norms on the other hand, is still unpleasant, but is rather just considered 'rude' IE. farting in a public place, picking your nose in a date; late at a meeting.

Secondly, who defines whats 'equal'? How come they get to define 'equal' To have a cohesive society there HAS TO BE A STRUCTURE, A COMMON GOAL. Look at organisations today. Even though say google is less centralised, there is STILL a boss. Helps shape the identity of the group and steer its purpose etc.

So whilst it might be nice, and dont get me wrong. I am for it. Application would mean failure... just like...

Why would anyone want to harbor negative feelings toward anyone? Some people, I guess you can say, bring it on themselves, but just do your best to improve yourself, your intelligence, your awareness and social skills, and your curiosity and put on your best face everyday and people would respect each other.
