Thank you for this. The real tragedy is that it is socially acceptable to be racist against whites. Racism is wrong period.

So you're just gonna ignore the past 100 years which have clearly been more racist towards black people? You probably don't even know what the black lives matter movement is about. You just assume it's about black people or something.

First off, I know exactly what Black Lives Matter is about and what it represents, not to mention is an oppressive and racist movement by itself.

Its main founder, Shaun Black, is a white man who presents itself as black, and was caught having some pretty racial and ridiculous remarks on his social media:
      www.theblaze.com/.../

After the incident, he was (not surprisingly) removed as founder in the wikipedia page. So starting there, you know now from what kind of people this dumbass movement came from. On top of it, a professor and spokesman of BLM, Michael Eric Dyson went on to record to say: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ0QfLkjujY

The movement is racist by itself, and was born out of shootings from cops to black people, at the same time they claim there is a so called "systemic racism" that is prevalent in the United States.

So don't come here with lectures, since everyone here has followed this movement for a while now.

In terms of your first question; Name me right now one example of systemic racism in the United States. Give me all the examples you can think of, to see if racism and slavery are part of today's system.

So you really are saying that there is no more racism in the US? Ignorant as they come. There has never not been racism in the US or anywhere in the world.

I never said there is no racism in America, so that's a straw man argument. I said there is no systemic racism in America, and if there is show it to me. The fact that slavery was well and alive at some point, does not reflect in current times. You can't say people are more racist towards blacks over others because it isn't something you claim by just taking in account history. It goes both ways and all ways, and if anything, particularly racial crimes, blacks are most violent when it comes to racism.

Why post something like this on this website? Like seriously! Your not proving anything anyways. My question to you is how are you going to make a change? people need to Stop posting about this and do something about racesism. This is just starting conflict among black people cause we are the main targets.

You seem like the type of reading facts and they fly completely over your head, because you're convinced white people oppress you. But anyways, I'll give it a shot so let me ask you this: 72% of black people are raised without fathers, do you think this doesn't represent a problem to their issues?

I think OP has a great point though, and your reply proves it. Blacks are welcome to post their feelings as much as whites. Either or, no one should be repressed, because they want to explain in a fair way how they're being treated.
Also, Op's post is actually doing something about racism. He's bringing to light the scenarios of every day occurrence that make people struggle even more with dealings of other races beyond their own. I challenge you to look deep into the matter's of which the OP has shown and be willing to work with and not against. As most are just wanting to shed light so we're all aware. Such as BLM in most attempts, is trying to shed light on police brutality.

@krash2002 My intentions on my take are very clear:

1- I wanted to shut down first and foremost the crap that BLM movements are teaching. Which is pretty easy using the facts they don't want to face.
2- The simple fact anyone can be racist as exposed above.

As for your statement: "Blacks are welcome to post their feelings as much as whites." Yes, I'm giving her the space and I answered to her so what's your point now?

@leg_n_sheets We may have a difference of opinion on BLM, but that's more than fair. There's ups and downs about a lot of movements. Some more distinct than others.

As for my point, it was only to extend the hand to allow the understanding that other's of all races are welcome to express their feelings, and a notion coming from multiple individuals is more welcome than coming from a singular particular individual. Especially when that first in-particular individual has caused a spark to which therefore in her own mind. Caused @stacyiscool to feel warranted to respond the way she did.

@krash2002 Yes, you are welcome to express your feelings in a different conversation. But as here, I welcome anyone to discuss the facts. Emotions do not alter what it really going out right now. What you feel about feeling racially oppressed, does not change the fact that of 660,000 crimes of interracial violence that involved blacks and whites, blacks were the perpetrators 85% of the time. This means a black person is 27 times more likely to attack a white person than vice versa. And latinos are 8 times more likely to attack a white person than vice versa, as showed in the stats.

See, the thing is anyone is warrant to respond however they want. But if we are going to have debate on the facts, then we must address the actual facts. @stacyiscool says I'm not proving anything, but acknowledging the facts will leads us to the actual cause of the problem.

      1. Race has no real sense: anthropology doesn't use that anymore:
      www.americananthro.org/.../Content.aspx
      2. That depends on why they hate it. If they hate their own 'race' for the crimes committed it can be explained.

@Spelling95 its the police that are violent criminals. Violence comes from every race. Stop stereotyping us. This is the reason why we are angry. Answer the question in the video @legs_n_sheets. there's a long history of facts. You dont see it or feel it because your not a black American. You dont go through are everyday struggles. You can never explain. Young black americans are dying right before are eyes for no freaking reason!!! You see it on the news... i see it in real life my brother was killed by the police. My ancestors where hunged by whites. I can't even wear braids in my hair at my job... because it doesn't look appropiate... When will we ever be treated equally is the main question?

I showed you the stats here, just as I just showed another guy just now more stats actually further proving that 93% of black people murdered, are murdered by other black people.
What you just said here sounds very nice on paper for the liberals, but unfortunately for you it does not deny the facts of what is REALLY happening in American society now. The numbers, the statistics and the actual reports don't lie. My proposal is to stop playing victim using these "emotional responses" and get down to the facts. Go ahead and address each and every single figure displayed here if you really want to try to prove what you say is right. Their not facts, just emotional opinions and I do not care about those. Lets get down to business and be accountable here.

If you want to go to the root of the problem here within blacks is the following:
A kid raised without a father figure is 5 times more likely to be poor and commit crimes. 9 times more likely to drop out of school and 20 times more likely to end up in jail.
72% of black kids are raised in single parent household, does this ring any bells on the problem here?

If black people aren't accountable of this, there's simply no solution to the problem. They have to recognize this first and foremost.

Forget the facts, and stop acting like white previlage dont exist. The dude in this thread named spelling95 is a racist he believes all the stereotypes about are race dont entertain him. They see his idiotic comments and didn't say anything because they dont care. Thats why the video you posted ringed a bell. @Twix005 im mixed my dad was killed by a white officer three years ago. Two thing, though. Blacks are more violent because it's statistical. And also, how can you solve problems if there is no accountability for problems?

Also, you must know that a child raised without a father figure is 5 times more likely to be poor and commit crimes. 9 times more likely to drop out of school and 20 times more likely to end up in jail.

Blacks aren't racist, because they don't have the power. Deal with it.

There's an intelligent way to age this conversation, including much documentation of cross-racial racism in neighborhoods that are only people of color.

And there's you, ranting against "blacks" because of how some black people act.

And I'm not even liberal, just sick of emotional ramblings on all sides of this debate.

      OPs everywhere:

"Haha, I'm so cool, I don't care about any issues. PC cucks be triggered like little bitches". (Writes whole post about how he's upset about something he thinks is unfair to him.)

Right, "ranting against blacks" because the facts are racist, right?

The proper way to apprach this issue is very simple, and I have asked this a zillion times before:

BLM is an opressive moment and segregatory itself, but lets ignore that for a moment here...
They claim that black people are being shot dead in the streets all the time, and they want to attack the root of the problem, so they target white people, policemen and a supposed "systemic racism". Cops shooting blacks represent roughly a 2% of blacks being murdered, sure it ia an issue to be adressed. But then there's a whole 90% of black people being murdered by other black people, and this is not being adressed by them. There's no critical. judgement towarsa their own culture as to why they themselves are killing each other by a huge margin (majorly).
So please explain to me where the fuck is the emotional charged argument in that? And how you fail to see the logic here?

Also, drop the generalizations por favor...

Where are your stats showing that blacks never address black on black crime? I see it being addressed daily.

"Every time the word racism comes afloat it seems all they start thinking about is slavery back in history, and how they are still "enslaved". "

This is your perception, not a fact.

"Every time you mention these things, though, you're labeled as a racist."

      Not a fact.

"most of them seem to believe that black people simply cannot be racist towards white people at all."

      Show us stats.

The whole "knockout game" segue... Just you showing you think blacks are violent and dangerous to whites. YouTube videos as evidence?

      Etc.

You have just completely avoided the question I asked to you, and ignored the facts. I'm still waiting for your response on that.

But sure, I'll play on those minor points you pointed:
Of course they come from perception, and they are not and can't be based on the numbers but where that perception comes, at least in my opinion, is very simple. The founder of Black Lives Matter, Shaun King, is all over the place on his perception of race. He is white, yet he exposed himself as a fraud by considering himself as black, and claiming that black people aren't racist. Every single person I have argued with, in terms of BLM has stated these things and since they are supporters and followers of the group, I can actually safely assume they agree to that idiot's ideology.
Here's an excerpt of his own exposure on the matter (the moment he fell hard):

A spokesman and professor of Black Lives Matter, Michael Eric Dyson said the following:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ0QfLkjujY

What's that again? Oh yes "black people can't be racist". So pardon me if I'm obliged to believe that if you are part of this movement, you subscribe to this ideology.
      More on him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhrA5of6D00

What's the fallacy in my logic there? Explain to me.
As for The Knockout Game, you're making a straw man argument there because that was exactly my point with sharing that, and it's clear on mytake:
"How aren't white civilians not jumping out claiming oppression towards blacks then? Can you imagine if we all called blacks as a collective as perpetrators of this?"

IE, of course white people can't (it was rhetorical), but that's what BLM are doing EXACTLY. It was part of my argument.

Get back to me on all of those points.

Here's the thing. Not all people who think black lives matter, the idea, are BLM, the organization. Not can you make assumptions of what "the blacks" as an ENTIRE RACE think based on "people I have argued with about BLM."

You're also waaaayyy off base thinking there is no critical judgement within the black community about black community issues. There is A LOT! You're throwing this out as a fact, when it's just your perception.

This is emotional because you're basically using opinions of "how blacks are" to back up why you feel angry and afraid of black people, how you feel unjustly criticized for feeling this way.

I'm not saying that's wrong to express at all - but only that you're doing it in the very way you're complaining about.

But you can, in my opinion. Reason why I don't belong to any social group, because only I represent my set of ideals and values. If you consider yourself a feminist, you're subscribing to feminist ideals, if you consider yourself a BLM supporter, you're subscribing to their ideals. I assume you support the movement (I hope you don't), but that I've showed you what sort of mentality (which is ironically, racist) the founder and their spokesmen have, you are able to reconsider where you stand.

Also, I never said all blacks as a race, I said most blacks I've dealt with, which obviously support the movement otherwise I wouldn't have those discussions in the first place.

I answered your claims, now answer my arguments then. You still haven't answered the very first question I asked you, which is related to this. And once you answered that, show me the proof of black communities addressing these issues and making them publicly known the way BLM are making known their propaganda.

Where's the attention on that scale? To answer this, again, you have to address what I said in the first question I asked. It's inclusive.

Also, you slip up in the comments by using the fact that blacks are demographic minorities to mean one thing (they commit more murder, per capital) and then another (blacks attack more whites than vice versa... if there are more whites, then statistically more victims of all races should be white).

I actually think this is s great topic to discuss, but not with an agenda of vindicating any one race and villanizing any other. But the finger pointing keeps getting in the way.

Those are facts, they are not attacks. I'm using these facts as further proof that there's no such thing as a white oppression, and systemic racism because that's absurd. I'm not vindicating whites of anything, so that's another straw man fallacy there.

You have yet again avoided my question. Third time in a row

That's perfect. There are black activists out there who are fighting against this bullshit, and who address the actual root of the problem which is the 90% of black murders, perpetrated by blacks. It has nothing to do with systemic racism and "white oppression", and people who believe that know black are dying due to a cultural problem, not a racial one. Saying that the root of the problem is white cops in ridiculous because it ignores a couple of things:
      1. You're claiming systemic racism out of a 2%, ignoring a full 90%. Where are the BLM people on that?
      2. Take a look for example at Baltimore. A city that is 45% black. City Counsel is composed majorly by black Democrats, the majority of command staff in the city police there is black, and the major of that city is Stephanie Rawlings-Blake who is also black. Yet here we are saying there is systemic racism. How is that possible? It's just absurd and that is what pisses me off.

That article you just shared yourself actually proves me right:

"I came up in the era of Self-Destruction. I wrote a book largely about violence in black communities. The majority of my public experiences today are about addressing violence in black communities. I can not tell you how scared black parents are for their kids, and whatever modest success of my book experienced, most of it hinged on the great worry that black mothers feel for their sons."

It's self destruction what is really happening in the black community. Want to fix the problem? Stop attacking white people and police officers and get your issues fixed. The main issue is that 72% of black people is being raised in single parenthood, as I stated in my take. A child raised without a father figure is 5 times more likely to be poor and commit crimes, 9 times more likely to drop out of school and 20 times more likely to end up in jail. So lets start with that.

Unfortunately, they ARE right that America created a perfect storm to make a troubled black community. Sure, slavery is long over, but look at longtime housing discrimination, look at predatory lending, look at how black WWII vets couldn't use the GI Bill, which was the biggest source of upward mobility for the families of current America. It's complex, man. Keep digging and learning.

Also, rural white America is in shambles too because of economic collapse after the end of the farm and coal economies. Police would be killing more of them, but there are fewer cops per person. The percentage of whites killed in cities under 25,000 is disproportionately high.

While current oppression is less widespread today than in previous generaions, the economic plight of blacks is definitely rooted in past discrimination. Just read more, my phone is dying and a lot of nonpartisan articles are out there.

Of course white people have their problems. I don't see white people blaming it on blacks. You know, for a white person there's a higher chance of getting killed in a car accident, by another white. That would be a good example of a white cultural problem (if there's such thing), car crashes both victims and responsible are, not disproportionally, but predominantly whites.

In the other things you mentioned, I don't believe in systemic racism, white privilege, or white oppression which I previously argumented. However, I agree to some of your points. So we can agree to disagree.

I mentioned the shootings of whites because I don't think racism is the primary reason for cops shooting unarmed citizens. Nor do I think Americans should just shut up about it, either. The government should not kill unarmed citizens for minor infractions... or in some documented cases, no infractions at all.

Racism IS the reason so many black people are squeezed together in small impoverished areas, though. You cannot call yourself intelligent and deny everything that happened in history. The history the US has with African Americans is deplorable.

The shootings themselves, in my opinion, are more complex. Most solutions are, but too many Americans care more about beating "the other side" than solving problems right now, from my perspective anyway.

@legs_n_sheets Black people can be racist. The problem is that you can't tell anyone anything because people are going to believe what they want to believe even if they know that truth. You can tell someone Trump isn't qualified o be President but someone is still going to vote for him. You can tell someone that Hillary is a crook but she'll still get votes. You can tell the government we give too many standardized test but they'll still come up with more. You can tell someone their husband is cheating and give them proof but they'll still stay with them.

You can TELL anyone anything. But you can't change peoples minds, not most people anyway, especially about things like this.

I can't argue that because people have been brainwashed to believe these things. The thing is, though, that you are able to speak the facts and are able to share the stats to make a general awareness at least of what is going on. Not everyone is brainwashed by liberal propaganda. And there's thankfully a good number of people making awareness of this.
