I was getting Tims this morning when I saw this old man holding the door open for a lady who looked to be about 30. I thought it was quite nice of him, since she had her hands full with a box of a dozen donuts, despite his obvious age.
I was so suprised when, rather than thanking the gentleman, the woman proceeded to snap at the old man, "I'm a strong independent woman, I don't need a *man* to hold the door for me"
I believe in gender equality, and I'm a huge supporter of feminism. But seriously, that was not ok! Doing something like that to be feminist is like isis claiming to be Islam 😠😠ðŸ˜

I am a strong believer in gender equality but I do not support feminism anymore because of crap like this. Western feminism today is not about gender equality anymore. Hasn't been for a long time.
