Radical feminism is cancer. Anything can be bad in large doses. Rights for women such as the suffragettes is far from cancer.

@GodHatesKaitlin All feminism is cancer. The implication that feminism is necessary for human rights is audacious and arrogant. It is not. The notion of human rights predates feminism, and it will go on long after feminism is forgotten.
Feminism is. Article two of the Declaration of Human rights states that everyone is equal regardless of gender, race, etc. Feminism by definition, is the belief that women are equal to men, without feminism, this will not happen. What you are thinking of are feminazis. Women who think women are superior to men. Personally, I think feminazis are horrible.
@GodHatesKaitlin Definitions written in Webster are irrelevant. Feminism is not a word to be defined by the dictionary. It is a movement. It is defined by the actions of those within the movement, and those actions speak all to clearly. Feminism is cancer.
The are multiple waves of feminism. You're thinking about the more radical side of things. That's where the cancer is at. Feminism around different parts of the world is different. Generally, if you're in the US, it's pretty terrible. Places like the middle east and parts of africa it's different. Women have very few rights there.
@GodHatesKaitlin People in the middle east in general need human rights. There are men there sold as slaves. Human rights is always the issue, not women's rights. Gender specific causes always suck. That is why feminism is cancer.
In the middle east, women are mostly considered property. Same with other 3rd world countries. And gender specific is needed. Clearly you haven't known about things like the suffragettes, back then, women weren't even allowed to vote. This is still a thing in many 3rd world countries, where women have little to know rights. It's needed in places like that, not so much in the west. However, very few western feminists seem to care about women's rights in 3rd world countries, only where they live.
