Firstly, I have no idea who this is, never seen this video or others. I’m basing this off comments and replies here.
From what I can glean he came across a dead body, commuted suicide?, and filmed it.
You seem to be saying “whoops an accident, no biggie”.
I can’t help but feel pain for the family of the dead body. What if they didn’t know? What about their feelings?

Logan Paul to me represents to me a good example with what is wrong in society. People today are immoral and have no values with the only thing keeping them check is stigmatization of not being PC.
Most people today care about social media likes and status and will do anything with disregard for other property or person. We've devolved as a society into a bunch of sociopaths.
People are making too big of a deal out of this. Loads of people are showing the very same body in there videos but they don’t get hated on, they get encouragement. There are thousands of pensions online demanding that his channel should be taken down. Yes, he did act around the body foolishly, yes he uploaded the video but he is only doing it for a job. I say you have done bad things to get where you are now. He said he uploaded it to raise suicide awareness, which he certainly did, just not in a good way. Others are making the situation better by doing charity live streams (jacksepticeye), donating money to suicide charities (markiplier) and just talking about what he done and how we can work from it (pewdiepie, but I think the video got taken down). it just shows that we can all make a difference
and yes I am a massive fan of jacksepticeye, markiplier and pewdiepie
he's obviously being a douche for YouTube and the viewers... it's funny and stupid sure I personally don't think the dead body is that big of an issue as the community is making it out to be... but you know lol in a day and age when labelling someone the wrong 'gender' Canberra offensive and breaking the law -- can we expect any less than a outrage lol
like whateves -> I would never have mknow such a thing if Logan didn't actually show it on his channel.. who cares if he's dead --> he obviously wanted to die there, and if his family doesn't know where the body is... well they do now so how is that not a win win
As you are correct with a couple of points he should have stopped recording the video when he saw the body, and maybe place a card saying that they found a dead body instead of recording it, also throughout that video members of his group were smiling seemingly like they thought something was funny, and I know that's his fault, the main, also there are a lot of people way younger than 13 on YouTube because if their parents don't care then they will be on there. Also I'm pretty sure he is aware of the age of the people who watch his videos, mainly cause it's not that hard to find out, and probably should have just stopped and thought about it before uploading, which he had a lot of time to think about
And so have I, but read the take before you comment. He is young and stupid. One mistake does not make someone a bad person, especially if they have remorse. I definitely agree that he has done some extremely stupid things but I'll always have respect for someone that successful. A truly terrible ridiculous mistake, for which he has apologized for.
He's certainly not a good person but everyone makes huge mistakes, especially in the eye of the camera. Most people these days would take a picture of someone in an accident and post it on social media before helping the victim. So what he did... I'm sure hundreds of thousands of people would have also done the same.
"Most people these days would take a picture of someone in an accident and post it on social media before helping the victim. So what he did... I'm sure hundreds of thousands of people would have also done the same." I don't think that's true, i think most people would have more decency than that
You like inflicting pain? You should know better. Comments like that drive people to suicide. You're not justified.
“Suicide is not a joke. Depression and mental illnesses are not a joke. We came here with an intent to focus on the haunted aspect of the forest. This just became very real.”-His words
He's a boy that didn't know how to handle the situation. Boys have been known to cope using humor to defuse tension. Or they'll get angry and say things like "I'd like to push logan paul down five flights of stairs". It's their way of discouraging such choices. Far better than Liberals walking around spouting diatribes like "kill yourself".
Many in Japan hate him because it limelighted an issue they shamefully don't know how to eliminate, so they don't talk about it. I also find it "funny" how the problem of white male suicide here in the states is not only mocked, it's used as a racist attack against them. Seems to me there's a lot of racism against white males in these replies.
@love_conquers_lust im not sure who that was directed to... but it seems like you agree with the points i've made. Being a person diagnosed with anxiety, a survivor of a suicide attempt, and an anorexic, I understand that jokes are not ok. I'm glad you pasted that quote in from him, I didn't know he said that. Thank you:)
@love_conquers_lust i never said i didn't believe you. i am agreeing with you. i have no idea why you're trying to argue with me. and im not 'playing victim' Either way, you're being irrational. My point still stands whether or not I had a perfect life or not. You LITERALLY agree with me but then give me shit
@michellebrown48 You misunderstand. I don't know how reliable that source is. That's why I listed it. I also wasn't referring to you explicitly. This was directed at Waffles. By victim Olympics I mean people unsolicitedly bringing up their past as a way to evoke sympathy while not offering a viable solution better than say throwing people down stairs (which may be offensive to victims of domestic violence).
I agree with you. And there is a lot younger viewers (like ALL my little cousins who watch him who are in the range of 6-10 years old...). And honestly I think it was a mistake but not what you'd think.
Logan Paul and along with many other Youtubers FAKE all their content. So in my opinion, the body was fake (my respects if it wasn't tho). You can't trust these Youtubers with all these clickbait titles and literally all their videos set up. It's my opinion though. He isn't a bad person he's just an idiot trying to do whatever it takes to get the views
He may not be a bad person... but that's debatable... He's most definitely an idiot... that's a fact.
Also - he knowingly put it out there AND edited it himself - which means what? He loved every second of that video and put it in exactly that order... Yup...
I'm thinking you haven't thought your article through before actually writing it... If you have - it wouldn't exist.
I definitely think it was in really poor taste for him to have uploaded that, but I am not offended by it. I mainly just dislike him because of his douchy frat-bro personality.
His channel is for jokes and to laugh at silly/stupid stuff, so I don't get why people call him idiot or immature. We've reached a point were these popular youtube all use clickbait and other dumbstunts to get views.

Really? You wanna say he's not stupid he just does stupid things? Go ahead.
Is he a scum bag of a human being? Yes he is. He laughed at a dead body from suicide and put it on the internet... If you actually defend this guy in any way I feel bad for you.
Logan Paul probably is not a bad person, but he's doubtlessly a stupid person, and he's got a stupid as shit PR team as well apparently.
It's his fans I'm worried about. They are the school of piranhas who clamp down on whoever gives the slightest criticism. #Logang is a gang of retarded teenaged fish
I used to watch his videos when they were mainly comedy skits, this was before he wasn't that famous.
After he become really famous, he changed, his ego got the best of him.
The last straw was when he took the song Handlebars by flobots and made his own version of it, his fame clouds the original which was a masterpiece. Now I dislike him.
He makes an arse of himself online. So what? Don't give him attention and he will fade away. But, people give him attention, so he will remain relevant.
I don't think they are trying to be bad people, but with their growing fame resulting from doing mostly stupid and irresponsible things, they have seen little consequences for their actions and thus are out of touch with reality.

as someone who has attempted suicide in the past, I'd like to push logan paul down five flights of stairs
I didn't see remorse, I saw apology he didn't really mean,
He is a shitty person
He's certainly not a good person but everyone makes huge mistakes, especially in the eye of the camera.

@michellebrown48 You can source check, I got the quote from this:
-https://www. theverge. com/2018/1/2/16840176/logan-paul-suicide-video-apology-aokigahara-forest
I don't like it when people play victim Olympics to validate their opinion. Not a healthy way to cope in my opinion, more likely a cry for help.

Views before human dignity, yea, he's horrible.
https://youtu.be/JNlOVdTQEIMAnd then I saw this video and really his past actions only confirm that he's a douche.

I didn't watch the video but I agree.
Just read a soldier's humor.
Someone get's blown up in the distance and they laugh and make jokes.
It's quite normal actually to joke about death when stressing about it
He makes an arse of himself online. So what? Don't give him attention and he will fade away. But, people give him attention, so he will remain relevant.
