I think armed resource officers are the answer. The US has plenty of military veterans who could do the job. Teachers and other school employees should never be armed, and banning weapons won't prevent these shootings, either.

I’m not trying to ban anything. All I’m saying is for semi-auto rifle owners to keep their semi-auto rifles in the range unless they have a permit to keep them at home.
The one in Maryland did his job, though, and engaged the shooter, so we know it works when they actually do their job instead of cowardly remaining outside.
Why America gets a lot of school shootings: 1) Kids who do not respect and obey their parents. 2) Parents who do not give much attention to their children. 3) Too many bullies in schools. 4) Too many people going astray.
Back when I was in school, anyone that enjoyed hunting or trapping and had a driver's license would bring their guns to school so that they could catch a few hours of hunting after school. You know, not one of those "terrible" guns ever went into the school and killed anyone. The main thing that changed, seems to be, is both parents have to work to "provide" junior a better life than they had. So no supervision and no respect is taught at home. The other thing is, If we did something that was against the rules, we got paddled by the principal. The most feared part of that was, when you got home you got the ass beating that you didn't soon forget by your father. This taught you if you didn't respect the rules there were consequences. A candidate for governor said, we need to show ID to get medical attention, we walk through metal detectors to get on airplanes and in federal and state buildings. The politicians have armed guards to protect them, but only "GUN FREE" zones for the kids?
@Surely No offence, but that was a long time ago. Things are extremely different now, and if those kids didn't have access to guns, no one would be dead. Sure they can go in with a knife but it's unlikely he'd get many killings from that
@acooke-13 A couple of points. 16 yr. olds can drive a 4000 lb. weapon of mass destruction. at 18 they are expected to defend our freedom, with weapons bigger then anything I have seen Including real assault rifles. They can work on the railroads, driving 10,000 ton trains and also vote. But, they are not mature enough to drink or as people want, to buy a gun. Where is the logic? Something needs to change at home and in the schools to teach respect. They should not need to be treated as 2 yr olds that you need to put everything up out of reach so they don't get into it.
@Surely That is what's so bizarre! They can't even drink/buy alcohol until they're 21. Kinder friggin eggs are banned because they're "dangerous" but sure as hell you can go to the corner shop and buy a rifle! I think it would be a clever idea to either get more security on gun purchase or do what they do with drinking and not allow purchase until the age of 21.
@acooke-13 Maybe the laws that are already on the books, need to be enforced and see how that goes. In Florida there were many signs missed with that guy, including the FBI. So if the existing laws are not enforced, who will enforce any new ones? The one in Maryland, the state with a whole bunch of gun laws, what happened there? I think we are on the same page, just different generations.

Assault rifles are basically already banned in 1986. Also the AR-15 is no assault rifle, also it isn't high powered at all. It is actually pretty weak compared to other hunting rifles.

The reason the AR15 is so deadly is because it’s a semi-auto weapon that uses a high caliber bullet for it’s weapon category. Of course a hunting rifle is going to have a higher caliber bullet, but those are bolt-action. It’s pretty hard to mow down a crowd of people with a bolt-action rifle.
Well no the ar is about the lowest caliber bullet available and hunting rifles are also available as semi automatic. In fact it’s a quite common hunting configuration to have a.308 in a semi auto.
@Izumiblu Why would you hunt with a semi auto sniper rifle? A bolt-action would do the job. Also like I said, we can’t just focus on the AR-15 because there are many guns out there that take the same or larger caliber bullet. That’s the problem, focusing on one gun.
just To summarize where you’ve been with this so far:
Ar15 is a high caliber bullet, clearly false Hunting rifles are all bolt action, also false Semi automatic weapons are sniper rifles. False.
You keep claiming nonsense, it makes it really hard to think you have any idea what you are talking about.
There are a number of reasons why semi auto are good in hunting.
Faster follow up shots (less time bolting a new round) Easier to keep your eyes on target between shots Equivalent caliber/energy delivery weapons a semi auto will have less recoil Semi autos have less muzzle flip. So it’s quicker to re acquire a target after the first shot.
So if you are under some sort of delusion that people buy semi autos on some power trip cuz they wanna run around and pretend they’re in the military, that’s not the case. There are real advantages using semi autos both in home defense and hunting.
@Izumiblu by high caliber, I mean higher than a pistol. I’m not talking about a 50 caliber round here. When did I say that all semi autos are sniper rifles? Now you’re putting words into my mouth. If a hunter oh so ever wants to use a semi auto sniper rifle, then those semi auto sniper rifles can be given to those who have a permit to hunt. Otherwise, there shouldn’t be any other reason to own one in your home. Why would a semi auto be useful in home defense? Sure there are advantages with using a semi-auto in a gun fight, but what are the odds a home invaded is prepared with the upmost combat skills with the upmost weapons? If you want to use a gun for home protection, there are plenty of pistols and shotguns that you can buy.
@Izumiblu like I said before, I’m no gun expert. I know a little bit because I considered joining either the army or the Marines at the end of high school and did my research, but I can disprove assault weapon owners pleas to keep their assault weapons at home. It shouldn’t be a big deal to have legal ownership of an assault rifle and keep it safe at the gun range.
@Izumiblu I wouldn’t say most, but yes there are a lot of pistols that have a higher caliber than the AR-15, but the capacity of pistols is usually pretty low and it’s harder to control the kick of a pistol since your only using your hands, while an assault rifle uses a stock to reduce the recoil.
So, since you seem so interested in this topic, let me give you a small education.
1) if you want to help, be sure you know what you are saying before you say it because when you repeatedly get things wrong it undermines your argument even if you bring up valid points. I haven’t even gotten around to your points yet.
2). The ar15 is a 5.56mm caliber round based on the.223 Remington round and is essentially the same caliber as the smallest caliber commercially available rimfire.22 round. In other words you can’t readily purchase a smaller caliber round handgun on the commercial market these days.
@Izumiblu also, I’m not 100% sure about this but there isn’t a whole lot of recoil on the AR-15. The AR-15 is suppose to be the civilian version of the M16, which was designed with less recoil to increase the accuracy.
@Izumiblu I’ll ignore the fact that you degrade my intelligence, by saying that I “don’t know what I’m doing”, when I specifically said that this was based off of general knowledge of guns, which most of the people protesting have a lack of. Anyway, even if my caliber comment was wrong, the AR-15 has a reduced recoil and increased accuracy. It sure as hell isn't a pellet gun. Just because it doesn’t do as much damage as say an AK-47, it doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be kept in the range. There is no need for it to be in someone’s home as it is not a hunting rifle. If a.22 caliber round gun had the same features as the AR-15, it would be as equally devestating. The point here is to not only focus on AR-15’s (which you seem to love to talk about), but assault rifles as a whole and not allow them in people’s homes. That is it. Case and point.
And being more accurate is a bad trait to have in a hunting rifle? The capacity of most full sized handguns are 14-20 rounds. And you can easily get 30 round magazines for them. So you point about the AR-15 having more capacity is invalid. Pistols don't kick bad at all, unless it is a sub compact or the pistol shoots an extremely powerful round.
I guess you don't even know what an assault rifle is. One of the criteria for a rifle to be an assault rifle is that it is select fire. All assault rifles made after 1986 is banned.
Not in a hunting rifle, but it is a concerning trait when it’s an assault rifle. It’s good when you want to shoot it at a range, but a group of people is concerning. I’m not saying that assault rifles should all be inaccurate, I’m just saying that it’s a factor. Pistols do have a slight kick, not sure what pistols you’ve shot haven’t. Now that I think about it, there are a few pistols that don’t have any kick, but most have a slight kick with it, so your last statement is invalid.
@Izumiblu and look at the amount killed by handguns and the amount killed by assault rifles. The shootings with assault rifles killed more, but let’s agree to disagree with this whole thing a bury the hatchet. I’m not opposing you. I’m trying to find a solution to appease both sides of the political spectrum because both sides are going about this wrong. The main point was my program proposition.
I have a 9mm pistol, it kicks about the same as my AR-15. I never said pistols don't kick, I just said full sized pistols that aren't shooting extremely powerful rounds, don't have much kick.
Says ar15’s are higher caliber weapons than most other guns, doesn’t understand the word caliber. Says hunting rifles are all bolt action Says semi auto rifles are sniper rifles.
Wants to lecture other people cuz he “knows” what he’s talking about.
Actually that isn't true, the Virginia tech shooting was one of the deadliest mass shootings in American history. And the shooter only used handguns. Also there was no mass shooting that I know of where the shooter used an assault rifle.
@Izumiblu lol why are you so mad about me discrediting AR-15’s? Again your putting words into my mouth
MOST hunting rifles are bolt action. Making that correction now Very much understand the word caliber Never said all semi auto rifles are assault rifles I’m lecturing other people about my proposition to end school shootings
I’m seriously thinking you are bored and want to argue without even reading through my mytake.
No semi automatic only rifle is an assault rifle. Also about half of hunting rifles are semi automatic. And since you claim to know what caliber means, what does it mean?
Sorry bout that didn’t mean to put columbine. I put it down but remembered before that they didn’t use assault rifles and forgot to delete. Either way, my point still stands about semi auto rifles
I knew I should of talked about gun reform less and kept the proposition my main piece. So if you and @izumiblu wish to say that I don’t know what I talk about then proceed, but it should not over shadow my comment about the program proposition. I still stand with my position, even those like me with a basic knowledge of guns can see that, but let’s agree to disagree.
About half of hunting rifles are semi automatic. There is no denying that fact. Just because it isn't what you think a hunting rifle is, doesn't make it not a hunting rifle.
The point about terminology is very important. You throw around this nonsense, I think with the intent of trying to be alarming and I also think with the intent of gaining support from those who don’t know w any different.
I believe you know very well what caliber means and that you were deliberately vague. I also believe you know fully well that semi auto rifles are not “sniper rifles” but you chose to throw it out there anyway and I’m certain that you had motivation to do it.
For all your talk of reason and compromise you chose to ignore fact and deliver hyperbole. Do you expect that people that understand the terminology and the motivation behind it will just go along with it?
@Izumiblu I have a very basic understand of the terminology. I never expected people who knew the terminology well to 100% agree with me, but there is no reason to pick and belittle my intelligence about my basic understanding of guns. I threw the gun reform bit in there to get an idea across. To get people to think deeper than the surface. Never did I say that semi-auto rifles are all sniper rifles. This wasn’t suppose to be all about facts, it’s a proposition. A proposal. My opinion on the matter. This is not a research paper where I had to collect data, then give the authors credit and have a works cited page. Of course I had to be vague. One, I only know the basic fundamentals of guns, and two, most people aren’t gun enthusiasts who understand the terminology. If I were to use terminology that gun enthusiasts use, it would confuse most readers and therefore, wouldn’t get many people viewing the post. The gun reform was only a small part of the bigger picture of the post
And what exactly did you do when I pointed out the factual differences? Did I call you stupid or belittle you? No, you defended everything you said that was incorrect and ignored every statement of fact I made.
Like I said earlier, you want a discussion? Stick with facts and cut the hyperbole. It’s not hard.
@Izumiblu No, I took it into consideration, but they were small things that didn’t ruin the whole picture. What do you want me to do? Call my entire mytake bullshit when it’s about my proposal on the situation?
Any good policy rests on the facts. And no they aren’t small things. They are in fact completely inaccurate and they are also relevant or you wouldn’t have mentioned them to begin with there fore it’s worth correcting them and not doubling down and presuming to teach others on how you were still correct in your statements. The reality is that. An ar15 is no more powerful than any number of hunting rifles out there. The next reality is that handguns are used in far more mass shooting than at 15 style rifles. Further, you can’t prove with facts that any ar15 rifle isn’t necessary to defend ones person or family in any given situation. First, it’s a matter of opinion and second you can’t predict what someone may choose to invade a home with. This is where fact and opinion are very different.
What about offering more schools that are completely online? But with only occasional proctored exams, if necessary and required. I mean wouldn't less people being in the same place at the same time result in less chances of something bad like this can happen?
When anyone can get their hands on guns and use them to satisfy a grudge the way to go is make it more difficult pupils and visitors to through checks before entering school grounds. It's a very sad situation to be in thinking the US is supposed to be so advanced it is so backward in its approach to guns !!!
I think some of the readers here are under the impression that the President, the Republican leaders of Congress, the NRA and the gun industry as a whole, ACTUALLY CARE about a few school shootings now and then? I mean, it's just some deranged kid or guy gone berserk, right? Is that what readers think?

Interesting idea with storing assault riffles at dealers or gun clubs but they might not have the room and will charge for storing it. I think bullying is a big problem with what it does to some students and creates mental issues with some so they need to work on that too. Oh banning everything wouldn’t even stop anyone with bad intentions but would leave honest citizens defenseless
You do realize there’s no actual national tracking of gun statistics, right? They aren’t allowed to. Using the fbi as a source is like using a Wikipedia page to talk about Jamarcus Russell. Sure, it says Jamarcus Russell, but it says his qb rating is how many shots of purple drank he took before he went out of the league.
@Other_Tommy_Wiseau Yeah, that's the point, the whole debate is silly. There are already laws to prevent felons, and the mentally ill from getting guns, but they aren't enforced. To think adding more gun laws to the ones that already aren't enforced is going to make things better, is just plain silly.
Well, the debate is silly... er... incompetently stupid for a myriad of reasons, the least of which, ironically, is the lack of enforcement of laws. Also, I don't know what that has to do with using stats from a source that explicitly states that they don’t keep track of said statistics
So, here’s the problem (s); gun stats the fbi gets primarily comes from the police and their reports. Coincidentally, the fbi has no fucking clue how many police departments there actually are. Even as recently as 2017, the fbi was reported to missing a shit load of gun violence statistics. That’s the simple 1st answer. The 2nd one is that they only report crimes, not researched gun stats. That would fall under the CDC. That’s sounds great, right? Well, I’m 199-whatever, there was an Amendment called the Dickey amendment backed by the NRA, of course, that made it so the CDC or any federal government body could research gun violence
@Other_Tommy_Wiseau The fact that you are using John Oliver from any info on a serious subject is rather distressing. Shit like that I why I gave up on America and renounced my citizenship.
1- I already knew about this well before I watched it 2- I watch said clips for the jokes than the actual content. Unlike some, I know the difference between journalism and entertainment... then again, studies have shown certain entertainment to inform viewers more than certain news outlets (or one source people claim to be news)
But I’m glad you ignored the paragraph above and he’s attached link and, instead, got fixated on the tidbit at the end. Good job homie. Great contribution. Proud of you 👍👍👍👍👍👍
@Other_Tommy_Wiseau Terrorists aren't something I really need to worry about. WTF are they going to come attack Malta because we don't have a Starbucks? Malta hasn't done anything to piss them off. They would probably has trouble finding it on a map.
Dude I'm right behind you. My mom is moving us to Cape Breton next year. Try and have a sense of humor about it cuz laughter is the only thing that keeps us from screaming and ending up in the psych ward. Our nation is a collection of brain dead red necks and we elected Bullwinkle as our president. Sorry if I offended you, but sometimes even bad taste is preferable to reality.
@villageidiot Nothing other than drama bothers me. I just find it funny that people think they can just come up a solution to this problem.
If they wanted a way to make kids feel safe at school, just create an agency like the TSA for schools. Problem solved, but no one has the guts to even suggest something like that. Mostly because they know the TSA doesn't really do anything than provide the illusion of security and safety.
TSA are not even police officers. As an agency, they are a disgrace. I know there are honorable members there, but their methods are degrading, perhaps unconstitutional, and ineffective. They fail tests with stunning regularity.
The school shooting happened because the shooting had an assault riffle and the security guard had a silly little hand gun, effective range, 10 metres, if the guard had had an assault riffle he'd've killed the shooting before he got his first shot off, armed guards on every entrance, no warnings, anyone carrying a gun is shot on sight, there, that's the answer to your problem.
The guard was a chicken shit who was afraid to engage. I can assure you that a handgun used by a proficient shooter is effective and accurate well beyond 10 meters. A shooter in a gun free zone could have done just as much damage with a revolver as with the rifle.
I think they understand what motivates republicans very well, "do what we say or we will work to get you voted out, and you won't get the graft you're used to. Sounds like they really *do* get republicans after all.
@Ballin13 What do you expect. She's been on a steady diet of leftist propaganda. We are graduating snowflakes incapable of facing adversity and working productively.
You mean you want the USA to be a DICTATORSHIP, you nasty little fascist. NO president has the authority to curtail the legality of ANY firearm, you fascist pig. Why do you want a dictator.
@Dargil, your point? She wants a dictator. She wants fascism. She wants a "president" that will force domestic policy down our throats without the normal procedures of rule by law.
@Harleyonfire Had his IQ been dogshit he would not have gotten to where he is. People can complain all they want about his father's help to get rich, but Trump is not dumb. That's not to say that he does dumb and impulsive stuff at occasions, especially impulsive stuff.
@WhiteKite so been born into wealth had npthing to do with it? I think the reason he is where he is, is because what he lacks in brains he makes up for with lies and scummy business practices. It doesn't really matter tho does it? He's going to get impeached or forced to resign😊 can't wait.
@Harleyonfire I think you need to research little history on trump before you make an opinion on him. Everyone in the media used to kiss his ass before he decided to run for president. Now they acting like he some type of criminal. Trump has been trump since the 70's. He hasn't change. He is a new Yorker with FU attitude. Which is why the people voted for him.
@Ballin13 he's a corrupt spoiled brat. He treats women like meat, he treats everyone else like slaves. He very likely committed treason, take notice that that's what he's being investigated for, and everyone that worked for him left him or got fired because they wouldn't worship like the dictator he wants to be. Trump university happened which was a scam that He's also being sued for, he's been sued over 1300 times in fact. Power makes more power and that's how he's gotten out of it. I couldn't give less fuvks about who he was in the 70s, today he's a disgustingly corrupt piece of shot with a disgusting ego and disgusting personality.
Contrary to what you may sometimes hear, school shootings are not unique to the United States. Germany, for instance, went through a string of devastating attacks between 2002 and 2009. Between 1996 and 2008, major school shootings also occurred in Finland and Scotland, among other places.
I'm not taking a side, I'm just pointing out a fallacy in your point.
be like Britains > oi mate, do you have a licence for that butterknife? sure let me just get it out, > and you got a licence for youf licence? yup, by the way there's a Muslim stabbing a whole crowd down behind ya > IS THAT HATESPEECH I 'EAR, YOU'RE GOIN TO FOCKIN JAIL FOR THAT CUNT.
"My proposition is to ban high powered and high capacity assault rifles from being in gun owner's homes." Assault rifles have already been banned from civilian ownership on a federal level since FOPA of 1986.

Lets face it there not gonna listen, they'll only realise when it's one of their family members/friends shot dead. What a shame
People don't give a damn if kids are killed. Otherwise, they would be for arming teachers. Crime rates have been dropping for years. More people are killed with knives than "assault" weapons.

@Izumiblu Caliber is not the sole factor of determining how effective a gun is. There is round capacity, recoil, accuracy, etc...
You do realize that most mass shootings involve handguns and not long guns right? At a rate of about twice as many.
I guess you don't even know what an assault rifle is. One of the criteria for a rifle to be an assault rifle is that it is select fire. All assault rifles made after 1986 is banned.
Good so then we agree that your original claim was incorrect. That ar15 is in fact not a larger caliber than most other guns.
I mean really , you looked at joining the marines, I own four guns and hold a marksmanship trophy at my local gun club.
So let’s just agree if we are going to talk let’s stuck to facts and drop the hyperbole.
Semi-auto assault rifles is what I’m referring to. Actual assault rifles are banned to the public and restricted for military use only.
Says ar15’s are higher caliber weapons than most other guns, doesn’t understand the word caliber.
Says hunting rifles are all bolt action
Says semi auto rifles are sniper rifles.
Wants to lecture other people cuz he “knows” what he’s talking about.
Give me a break.
Actually that isn't true, the Virginia tech shooting was one of the deadliest mass shootings in American history. And the shooter only used handguns.
Also there was no mass shooting that I know of where the shooter used an assault rifle.
There is no such thing as semi auto assault rifles. Assault rifles have to be select fire or it isn't an assault rifle.
@Izumiblu lol why are you so mad about me discrediting AR-15’s? Again your putting words into my mouth
MOST hunting rifles are bolt action. Making that correction now
Very much understand the word caliber
Never said all semi auto rifles are assault rifles
I’m lecturing other people about my proposition to end school shootings
I’m seriously thinking you are bored and want to argue without even reading through my mytake.
You named one I can name two others. Columbine, Parkland and Sandy Hook.
No semi automatic only rifle is an assault rifle. Also about half of hunting rifles are semi automatic.
And since you claim to know what caliber means, what does it mean?
Then what is it then? It mimics the popular M16 assault rifle.
Columbine shooters used pistols and shotguns. Not assault rifles.
Caliber is the diameter of the gun barrel
Sorry bout that didn’t mean to put columbine. I put it down but remembered before that they didn’t use assault rifles and forgot to delete. Either way, my point still stands about semi auto rifles
Good job, then you know that the AR-15 shoots a 22 caliber bullet.
@Izumiblu not only should there be a slight gun control you should be banned in life.
@Izumiblu drop your weapons coward
Shut up meg
Just use a frying pan :p
@Izumiblu drop your guns coward
@Spacebears Lulz 😂 ok
@Izumiblu loll thought you would laugh
@Izumiblu use a frying pan instead oh and add some eggs and an oven and cook me some eggs
@Spacebears if you can survive long enough to make it to the kitchen you'll have eggs.
@Izumiblu
@Izumiblu you should check out my posts
@Spacebears why should I do that?
@Izumiblu because I am probably the only wealthy person here.. With a brain...
@Spacebears ok, but what’s the reason I should look at your posts?
@Izumiblu fine be that way
Here’s a nice article.. I thought the timing on this was brilliant and nicely sums up this conversation.
www.nationalreview.com/.../
He wasn't a student.
@HereIbe it’s usually a student or former student in a lot of them but not always
The only way anything will change is if a high ranking politician or a business leader’s kid gets double tapped through the head in math class.
Until then, thoughts and prayers all around for the rank and file.
You are aware that according to FBI crime statistics hammers have killed more people than those scary assault rifles.
Yes and i hear they're thinking of banning monkey wrenches too LOL
@villageidiot good those are dangerous too
You do realize there’s no actual national tracking of gun statistics, right?
@Other_Tommy_Wiseau actually they do keep statistics going back to at least 1995 are published online.
ucr.fbi.gov/.../home
So, here’s the problem (s); gun stats the fbi gets primarily comes from the police and their reports. Coincidentally, the fbi has no fucking clue how many police departments there actually are. Even as recently as 2017, the fbi was reported to missing a shit load of gun violence statistics. That’s the simple 1st answer. The 2nd one is that they only report crimes, not researched gun stats. That would fall under the CDC. That’s sounds great, right? Well, I’m 199-whatever, there was an Amendment called the Dickey amendment backed by the NRA, of course, that made it so the CDC or any federal government body could research gun violence
www.google.com/.../story%3Fid%3D50300379
Coincidentally, I was just watching a John Oliver clip on both of them the other day.
@Other_Tommy_Wiseau don't forget drywall saws, The taliban uses them to sever heads which could catch on here in america
@Other_Tommy_Wiseau The fact that you are using John Oliver from any info on a serious subject is rather distressing. Shit like that I why I gave up on America and renounced my citizenship.
1- I already knew about this well before I watched it
2- I watch said clips for the jokes than the actual content.
Are you high? So I think it’s safe to assume you don’t know what you have no idea what you’re talking about...
@Other_Tommy_Wiseau I live in Malta, the threat here is non-existent.
I literally never mentioned terrorism or Starbucks. Maybe sober up homeboy
Can you send me one of those Maltese Falcons?
@villageidiot No, but if you ever visit, I know a girl at the falconry center that can get you one on the cheap.
@dano65 I am aware of all those facts, the final sentence of my previous statement points that out.
@dano65 I am aware of all those facts. And the final sentence of my last comment points that out.
America needs a better leader.
That's it? that's all you have.
We got one when President Trump replaced Barack Hussein Obama Jr.
@Dargil You need an even better one.
@HereIbe We HAD an aspirant Fascist Dictator until the inauguration.
American Logic: If you don't like opinion, they are snowflakes.
No wonder Trump is president. Americans are stupid.
@Dargil, your point? She wants a dictator. She wants fascism. She wants a "president" that will force domestic policy down our throats without the normal procedures of rule by law.
And that is YOUR response? Congratulations on proving that you are a perfect match for any Trump worshiper.
Man, the self triggering in here. I guess there's some sort of context in assigning this girl the thoughts and beliefs you guys are doing.
America needs better everything. Better government, better people, better laws, and BETTER GUN CONTROL.
A better president too. One who's IQ isn't the equivalent of dogshit.
@Ballin13 People kiss any wealthy man's ass not just Trump's.
@Harleyonfire Pretty smart for a 14 year old !!!
@loveslongnails as she gets older then she'll understand.
@Ballin13 It's sufficient!
you know why USA is the only country with school shooting? that is because there is no gun ban.
No guns no school shooting. Easy peasy
@MadManInBlueBox THey are common place in the US
in Europe they get gang raped and run over with trucks instead
@villageidiot Oh, I agree there. I'm not agreeing with the article nor disagreeing.
The only way America is gonna stop having school shooting's, is if they be like Britain, and that's never gonna happen
be like Britains
> oi mate, do you have a licence for that butterknife?
sure let me just get it out,
> and you got a licence for youf licence?
yup, by the way there's a Muslim stabbing a whole crowd down behind ya
> IS THAT HATESPEECH I 'EAR, YOU'RE GOIN TO FOCKIN JAIL FOR THAT CUNT.
Obviously you're dense, because that's not what the fucking question was about. The question is about stopping school shootings
If we were like Britain, we'd be under Shariah Law!
@Bananaman177 wow you're dumb.
@Bananaman177 Can I have a few hits of what you're smokin?
Britan has a higher murder rate per capita
@villageidiot Yeah, I got it from some Pakistani guys in Rotherham. Or was it Telford?
(Yes--it's that good.)
There are plenty of guns in Britain both legal and ilegal what's different is the culture.
@Adam_INTJ no, they don't. USA 4.88, UK 0.98. the USA has 5x the murder rate.
@davidrees true even the police are shooting people left and right in america
"My proposition is to ban high powered and high capacity assault rifles from being in gun owner's homes."
Assault rifles have already been banned from civilian ownership on a federal level since FOPA of 1986.
Lets face it there not gonna listen, they'll only realise when it's one of their family members/friends shot dead. What a shame
Who is not going to listen?
The gov't only listens to the NRA, not the people.
@villageidiot or when there's money involved
@villageidiot , the NRA ARE the citizens.
@YankeePoint how about not go
@YankeePoint A MINORITY of the citizens!
Most people living in the US... They don't see the problem. It's ridiculous!
Elliot rogers brought up interesting points. Maybe they should be checking out those
Taking away assault rifles aren’t taking away people’s freedoms.
You don’t need an assault rifle for protection or hunting. Are handguns and shotguns not good enough?
The AR-15 isn't an assault rifle.
People don't give a damn if kids are killed. Otherwise, they would be for arming teachers. Crime rates have been dropping for years. More people are killed with knives than "assault" weapons.
