Ouh common you aren't really beleawing that if woman were to have majority of power man problems would just end. Yes woman prowide great balance, if they know how to do it. But now it seams like almost every place wants to make woman lart of something, even when there sould not be a woman like boy scouts. If you want to get position at job you must earn it not use lav to get it. Common no one is going respect you for it. And this goes to major difference beatwen man and woman, man care about respect and reputation, woman not so much, or woman have magic power to escape backlash what man would recieve. I have seen a lot more woman scheaming something than man. And honestly that all "im going to be nice in your face but stab you at back" is annoying as hell.
@Janncis I’m sorry but I and many others (men AND women) do a job that you can only get by in by earning respect! So I know exactly how that works and I haven’t said anything against that particular thing so my point still stands! Your personal experience is just that, not a definitive model for how the rest of the world works, be careful about that and be sure to consider he bigger picture like I’ve mentioned. It’s actually about embracing each other’s strengths to create the best outcome! I don’t believe in such strong gender divides that are portrayed in the media and so forth, I’ve seen it time and time again where these have been broken, it’s more of an individual case by case basis, yes there are some aspects where gender plays a general rule, but it’s far less that what we’re often lead to believe!
@cth96190 I disagree completely. Just look at the irony of the question in comparison to your answer. But just for arguments sake, you can’t make sweeping generalisations without any evidence, so there’s your challenge. (Valid evidence, not just one piece of random biased rubbish).
@TonyBologna25 it’s a gradual process which won’t happen everywhere overnight, but thankfully it’s moving that way now. We should be respecting and playing to each other’s strengths, not focusing on petty things - that’s actually weak.
@SiennaSurfer you are so mistaken, there are quite a few things where gender matters a lot. Do i really need to count up jobs, who woman can't really do? They are hight paying ones to. Yes man and woman working together can lead to much better result, but only if bouth sides are free to express them selfs. You can't talk about ballance if woman tend to play victim card. There is no ballance if oposite sex is afraid of friendly chat, light touch. There are people who like to do it while talking, shoulder, pat on back, ec. Are normal touches. As @TonyBologna25 said whos holding you back, but even more why you want that power? It won't fix your problems, it will make new ones, and long beffore you know your working 12h a day 7 days a week. Let see you are offered 400k job a year, but you need to be available for 24/7 if needed often working 12h a day. You can't take a holiday, of you take and dont do job even after working hours, you can search for new job. Thats a reality of hight pay lawyer. Can you pull it of? I know plenty of man who will do it, dont know any woman who will be willing to do such job. Its nice to dream about power, but dont aim for it if your not will to pay for it. And i think thats a biggest problem for woman, you can get by petty things in low paying jobs, but you can't get by in hight paying ones without sacrifices of some sort. You can call in sick while working at school, you cannot tell your boss or client that you won't work at multi million lav firm. by the way m if you dont believe strong gender dividers, look at your strength and look at man strength, a lot of jobs require strength, can you lift crates for whole day? Can you work at oil rig, carriying pipes? Can you work at fishing ship, at season working for 20h at times? Can you carry 10kg of armor, 8kg of ammo and gun, 20kg of equipment and your buddy whos shot? Yes there are woman who can do it, but dont be mistaken, its one procent of one procent. Rest just somehow goes by.
😂😂😂 I knew there’d be so many unbalanced defensive guys on this site react to this! Too predictable really. They don’t want a balance of both men and women 😂😂😂 who’s the Nazi? Hilarious!
@SiennaSurfer here's a news flash, you can't balance man and woman, we are way to different. Thinking other way around is just pure stupidity. I feel sorry for you.
So your comment about how mens issues are ignored is to ignore men's issues and state how women, by virtue of having a vagina, should be in charge? Women are not more compassionate towards men, this is provable by the fact that many laws that harm men where pushed for by women, supported by and endorsed by women.
read 2. 4. 6. 7. 10.12. 14. 15. 17. all comparing it to women. this isn't a competition. you managed to make mens issues all about women, how is that going to help you?
I think that's how it often works in order to illustrate an inequality. It's not that it's about women, it's about men suffering unfairness and inequality. But for women to not share responsibility with male plights in the world is like men not sharing responsibility in issues regarding female plight. Men and Women have always coexisted so responsibility should be more even than it is today.
@yourfavperson the reason he is comparing these issues to the ones women face is he is showing the hypocrisy of the feminist movement. They claim that they are about equality between the sexes but they have done next to nothing for men if at all. They end up scoffing the idea that men have issues at all because it threatens the notion that we live in a patriarchy which gives advantages to men over women which, as shown above is demonstrably false.
And no, just because he is comparing the issues to women experiencing the same does not make it women’s fault. If anything it’s the feminists who do this. Studies have shown that slut/body/whatever shaming is done to women predominantly by other women. Also according to the CDC, lesbian couples experience more IPV than all other relationships with bi women coming in second. Despite those examples, feminists still have no issue blaming men for these problems.
exactly. you're comparing it to the feminist movement and womens stats. its allllll about women, like i said it was. u should instead shed light on men and mens stats by itself, instead on making it a competition.
At no point he said it was women's fault. He compared both situation to show how the same issues are treated differently when it comes to men. Because that's the problem he's pointing at, in the take. That the same issue is treated as nothing when men are victims, but important when it's women.
I'm not sure, but your logic is probably alright. Your premise however, which is essentially that all concern stops at mens issues, is wrong. Therefore, your conclusion that the issues must revolve around or is some kind of attack on women out of some defensive or negative emotion is wrong.
Let's say that you are also concerned with gender issues on a humanitarian level or interested in improving relations between both sexes, for example. Comparing issues and rates can then serve as a useful, problem identifying tool. It simply provides context. It can potentially reveal the level of urgency for the problems within larger problems.
E. g. If you are concerned with global warming and you want to raise awareness for a largely ignored problem of methane emissions, then comparing it to carbon emissions might help.

Interesting take. Some of the things mentioned I have seen in my own country, like how male victims of domestic violence are not taken seriously if they report it to the police. But of course the feminists will spout their garbage...
I find myself typing something and then just quit half way through because i realize that my response is as impactful as the next. Posting here changes nothing. To whoever is reading this, allocate your time wisely because i just wasted mine typing this.
I would say toxic masculinity causes so many of these issues though. How many of us have been punched in the face because some dickhead thought he’d show off how manly he is? Plus there are feminists (not all) who do talk about this.
A lot of these are true, severe, and should not be overlooked, but none of them are excuses to mistreat women or overlook women's issues. People should be EQUAL. Everyone. xx ~ Mrs Manson

I'm not sure how representative this example is, as it's one person and feminism has changed since its earlier years, but Erin Pizzey seems worth mentioning.
She founded the first shelter (there's a wikipedia article on her). "Pizzey has been the subject of death threats and boycotts because of her research into the claim that most domestic violence is reciprocal, and that women are equally capable of violence as men."
@Boppy also I wonder why she was boycotted when you guys apparently support women like her. Why didn't you and other men support her if you thought she's doing the right thing? Oh wait you guys can't do better than complaining.
I lately wondered why there are only emergency hotlines and dorms for females. Not to mention that regarding the accusations, females relate to things of the past that they hardly know about. Must be a hormone thing.
peh, rapistas are always men.. killers are always men.. dictators are always men.. esad is male, hitler is male, stalin is male, trump is male, pedos are male, drug sellers are male, all crime offenders are generally male.. so shut up please.. dont defend a teenage or adult male's victimhood to me firstly you teach all males be a human!! then you can defend them
@jujuthehottest You are missing the point so hard! Even when the rapist is a men and a victim is a men we still get much less help and empahty! Doesn't matter if it's done by men or women, as long as the victim is a man he is ignored. By your logic, just because the rapist is male and a horrible person, the male victims don't deserve empathy? You have problems!
@ThisIsMyOpinion definitely male victims deserve empahty but they shouldn't be incel for some rapist or sexist women!! incel men are more dangerous than feminist women
You do realize women are rapists, killers, and pedos too, right? I recommend using the word "always" very lightly. Look up the statistics. They aren't that rare, just not acknowledged, and people poke fun of these things in the media. Especially female abusers, there are a shit ton of them.
If they do deserve empathy why this "dont defend a teenage or adult male's victimhood to me"? Those are not words from a person who actually looks a young boy after he was raped and feel for him.
@Kas19 fuck off, ignorant broad!! %91 of rape victims are female and %90 of offenders are male by the studies (not reported cases) %1-9 of pedos are female
@ThisIsMyOpinion not judge me but i think a man can punch the rapist woman's face if he wants.. so it is not a brutal rape! brutal rapes are rare and i think %95 of victims of brutal rape are female but statutory rape is common as hell and %75-80 of victims of statutory rape are female
@jujuthehottest never have I ever dimissed that women can and are victims of rape. When I ask for men to be seen as victims after a rape I am not saying we shouldn't care about the raping of women. I am not dismissing it in any way! You pretty much said men can't be victims and that they would never get sympathy on your part. Don't you see what is wrong with that?
I'm really thankful I wasn't as ignorant as you when I was your age. You really make our generation look like shit.
9% of rape victims are male, and one out of every thirty-three men are raped. This isn't including men being raped in prison. One in twenty-five boys are victims of child abuse.
Comparing them does no good. This myTake is focusing on mens issues, that many don't believe happen or take seriously. While yes, he could have gone about it a better way, you're doing exactly what the issue is. Ignoring the issues and turning the attention back to women.
There are female abusers , if women are capable of great achievements as men are , what makes you think that they are incapable of commiting the same crimes as men are
There is a downside to everything and I MEAN EVERYTHING
If you are able to serve humanity , you are also very much capable of destroying it
I bet if I say women are innocent creatures and are smarter than men I would get a award but is a women are weak as fuck I'm going to get castrated
@Lliam i read your comments and i dont care about all of them.. no need focused on male rape for me cause it is rare and not brutal !! my point is very clear! please respect :D
How is it not brutal, the fact that something isn't common (which it actually is in this case) makes it so we don't have to worry about it? So when the first axe massacre in a thousand years happens we shouldn't worry because it's not common? (I know, dumb example) also how is rape not "brutal" when the victim is male? I don't like cussing at people but you kinda seem like an ignorant asshole, no?
@CocoBat woman can rape man but man still penetrate woman if he doesn't want, he can kick her ass easily , so male rape is not brutal but a bit impolitely
"A bit impolite" what the fuck, rape isn't impolite, it's fucking horrible, what if said woman is in a position of power? What if the victim is not taken seriously as many men aren't? What if the victim is a small child? What if the victim somehow thinks they deserve it? What if it gets turned around because he beat her? A woman can also force herself onto a man, you ignorant, apathetic twat, get a grip
I'm sorry for my language but this bullshit pisses me off, someone who is very close and dear to me (and is a man) has been raped at the age of 19, I will not give details but I can assure you that it's just as "brutal", and the fact that you are so ignorant about such things because they're "not as common" is disgusting and just plain stupid, really, get a fucking grip
It caused him very much psychological problems in the long run, and had a very big impact on his life, as does any kind of rape, no matter the victim, rape can happen to anyone and isn't limited to a certain group of people
Be it old people, children, adults, men, women, it can happen to anyone and it's never excusable, your entire view of rape is messed up, not just that of men but rape in general
@jujuthehottest are you really just gonna completely ignore that statement about that women CAN have power over a man and use said power to rape them just like a woman can?
@jujuthehottest Lol no? Just like @CocoBat said what if it is a women raping a youger boy? To you just because he is a guy he must like it and so it's never brutal. Is that it?

@BrittBratt2416 Well, this is a post about men's problems RN.
Sorry to say, but this IS a post about men's problems. How would getting more women in charge help men's problems?

Outstanding take. People need to start taking every single thing you have listed here much more seriously. It has all been ignored far too long.

Blame patriarchy that refuses to believe that men can be victims too.
The patriarchy doesn’t exist in the developed world.
Except the ones denying it and doing everything to silence it are feminists, because apparently talking about men issues is a threat to feminism.

Those are not words from a person who actually looks a young boy after he was raped and feel for him.
@Kas19 fuck off, ignorant broad!!
%91 of rape victims are female and %90 of offenders are male
by the studies (not reported cases) %1-9 of pedos are female
@ThisIsMyOpinion not judge me but i think a man can punch the rapist woman's face if he wants.. so it is not a brutal rape! brutal rapes are rare and i think %95 of victims of brutal rape are female but statutory rape is common as hell and %75-80 of victims of statutory rape are female
Women can't be pedos
2019
@jujuthehottest Do you even know how ignorant your comment sounds with all those hasty generalizations?
@kas19. Nice slap down on jujuthehottest. You're a good example to young women. That teen has issues.
@jujuthehottest Some women are stronger than men. So yes it can be brutal to him.
It caused him very much psychological problems in the long run, and had a very big impact on his life, as does any kind of rape, no matter the victim, rape can happen to anyone and isn't limited to a certain group of people
@ThisIsMyOpinion lol , no :D
Is that it?
@CocoBat I am sorry for what happened to him.
I don't see how anyone can still be this ignorant
@CocoBat I am just glad to see that you are her age. Good to know the younger generation isn't all like her.
lol the downvotes
And there's the misandrist.
You hit the nail right on the head from the get go and I LOVE IT!
And here come the women in the comment section trying to deflect and steer the conversation about women.
"But WuT abOwT teH WomEnzz"
Thank you for the take. I hope that the people who most need to see this WILL see it!
I thought it was just the women that chose to be victims. Just choose not to be - it's actually easier.
These issues are issues, but I think we have a chance to make serious change. I agree about the male rape and abuse.
