Unfortunately this is not at all surprising, and there's too much of the male population that acts like these should still be the case. 😡

We are supposed recognize what happened in the past and strive to be better
All of that stuff is old history and has no relation to women's current level of privilege.
That was 50 years ago, those laws affected my grandmothers, and it’s not about privilege it’s about equal opportunity and sexism

Yet, that hasn't stopped feminism from becoming toxic
Not has it stopped toxic masculinity but hey, at least people are on more of an even playing field.
And what exactly is toxic masculinity?
It is a set of attitudes and ways of behaving stereotypically associated with or expected of men, regarded as having a negative impact on men and on society as a whole.
Such as?
Researchers have defined it, in part, as a set of behaviors and beliefs that include the following:
Suppressing emotions or masking distress
Maintaining an appearance of hardness
Violence as an indicator of power (think: “tough-guy” behavior)
In other words: Toxic masculinity is what can come of teaching boys that they can’t express emotion openly; that they have to be “tough all the time”; that anything other than that makes them “feminine” or weak. (No, it doesn’t mean that all men are inherently toxic.)
So, tell me. If a man express his emotions, what will people do? Will they support them?
Also, what hormone causes me to be "aggressive and violent?"
Also, do you want to be soft? To the point that they can't defend themselves?
You realize that women have testosterone too right?
But that’s exactly the point toxic masculinity has a negative impact on society as whole, not just on men. And the fact that you don’t feel like you can express your emotions in a way that is accepted proves that point
Do women have the same level of testosterone that men have?
And you're OK with men becoming less and less masculine?
It’s not about hormones, it’s about how damaging that kind of mindset is for people.
So you think that making men less masculine will make the world safer?
You can me masculine with you being toxic. I’m so sorry that this is so incredibly ingrained into you that you think that having emotions make you weak… it doesn’t it makes you human.
