I'm often told that I'm the least stereotypical black person someone has ever met. If anything, all my interests are Asian based

The only ones I here were I live is the hair weave and attitudes. But mostly they are like she won bc she is black ( saying they are good at sports ) and that all the black guys have big dicks.

I think this thing got a little away from you...10 you say the stereotype is that you're sexually inhibited but then talk about how you're accused of being hypersexual... those are opposite things. Also, things got unnecessarily dark around 8-9
I used a source for that, and no it didn't really. :P At the end of those points I said something like "If your race was hyersexualized then you would be sexually inhibited too." It was more like why we were like that. Sorry for the confusion.

A lot of these stereotypes are true though obviously not all are like this but you'd be lying if you said a giant portion aren't like this

Fake hair and their real hair looks like crap for starters its hard to find a black girl with natural hair that doesn't look bad.

It's actually really hard to find black chicks with natural hair that does look bad. You're aware black people can pull off their looks better than white people right? You have to admit. Us whites be ugly in comparison.

There are plenty of hairstyles black girls can do naturally but they never do it's either badly messed up hair or flat iron. I mean there's the few that go all natural but comparitvly speaking there aren't many

Why don't you work to dispel these stereotypes with your behavior rather than complaining about them on the internet? Stereotypes don't come from nowhere, so people generally aren't going to change their minds until they see a change in behavior, not words.
Uh... Excuse me, but I do. I don't conform to these stereotypes in any way, and people still believe I act this way. I'm going off of personal experience, and of people I come across in real life who don't act like this. Complaining on the Internet? Where else am I suppose to put this? In outer space? No.
All I mean is that actions change people's minds a lot faster than words ever do. When enough black women defy all those stereotypes, then they'll start to die out.

Oh my God, seriously? You're telling us to "work to change these stereotypes with our behavior?" Do you have any idea how ridiculous that is? Let's just tell Asian people to start getting dumber while we're at it, since stereotypes are telling us that they're too smart to be human. Yeah, let's rally up all the black people and tell them how they have to act so society will start accepting them as human beings. Oh, wait, that's literally impossible. And racist. And forcing conformity.
Stereotypes are dehumanizing. What you're saying is that we should never get angry or a little snippy at someone because we're perpetuating a stereotype. You're telling us that we have to be more morally upstanding than other races because stereotypes state that we're all criminals. You're telling us that because of the way we were born, we have to prove something to the world, we have to validate our worth to other people. This is a load of crap, because most stereotypes can be disproved with actual facts
@Aliorio Everyone lives with stereotypes. Black women aren't unique in that respect. Y'all just can't abide anything that might be perceived as criticism, regardless how vague or broadly based it might be. If you're not loud and "ghetto," why should this stereotype bother you? I'm a white guy and white guys are stereotyped as unathletic, yet I played varsity sports at my college. And yes, everyone has to prove things to the world. Sorry, but the world isn't prepared to praise either you or I on spec.
You are so right, sometimes my best friend cries over stereotypes like this when none of those are the case!

I agree with you! Sadly some people are feeding into those stereotypes. And Hollywood tends to perpetuate those stereotypes and all others portraying those of other ethnicities. People fail to understand that those stereotypes are seen in certain environments. We're not all raised alike. Daddy issues, however happens even if you come in a two parent home like myself.
I know not all black women are like this. But the ones that are seem to go out of their way to ruin it for me. Whenever I find a black girl I think could look special, the trash comes out of the woodwork to either scare me off or turn her against me.
It'd be one thing if they were rational power players. But often, they're irrational bullies. And when they get physical, I have to leave. Because if I defend myself, they begin the croc tears. And somehow, everyone always falls for it.

Upsetting for me because whenever I get upset at a guy or mention my (yes very high) standards Im lectured on how 'black' I'm being and immediately shoved into stereotypes.
