Moving out before marriage and I'm Muslim?

Moving out before marriage. It's against my religion. I'm Muslim but I'm 20 and I wanna move out. is this good or a bad idea? I'm gunna wait till I'm financially stable then move out. I just graduated from college and started working so I'm saving. But I feel guilty. I feel like instead of saving to move out I should be helping with the bills at home

My family are against it and really religious so I don't know what they might do do if I move out

Do you agree on your religion? Or do you feel like your forced to believe in Allah? I have read and learned about the Shari' A Law, and I have heard many Muslims are turning to God, I have evn seen the movie God's not dead, and there was a muslim on there your age she got beat by her parents and she moved out and turned to God her life got WAY Better, I know anything I say about your religion whether true or not is considered Slander and I know I can get hurt or even killed for stating this but i'm willing to. And you shouldn't feel guilty about Saving YOUR money, and your over 18 so they have no right controlling you, if they hate you for moving out don't worry they will come around.

First of all the word Allah means god! That's just the it's said in Arabic. Second there's nothing in Islam that says you can't be independent and move out and live on your own. So I would stop blaming the religion. Some peoples parents are more strict then others that's the bottom line. People make the mistake all the time and put on Islam it's so annoying ! If you really wanna find out the truth about Islam then read the Quran and understand it first. If you were someone who wise you will get what it says. If you look at how the world is turning right now you will see and understand exactly why it says what it does! Good luck to all

Oh and another thing I am Muslim and I'm very independent I own my own house business everything and my parents are from back home. Every religion has there extreme. Islam even says to be a Muslim u must believe in all three books. So to those of you who think Islam teaches us to hate Christians and Jews that's not true ! Go find out for yourself instead of believing what the media wants u to believe

I'm not Muslim so I'm not sure how valid my opinion is, but you shouldn't feel bad about moving out. It's the 21st century and you have everything going for you, so you should have the power to make your own decisions. You can still help your family even if you move out.

I would ask a scholar. I don't know that it's forbidden to move out especially if you have female Muslim roommates inshaAllah. I know it's a cultural thing but I wasn't aware it was religious - again ask someone who knows inshaAllah.

Your parents have managed to survive this long without you paying rent, if you're financially stable then move out. You are in control of your future, not some words in an outdated book.

On the topic of religion, fair enough having spirituality and stuff like that, but as soon as somebody uses it to tell you what you can/cannot do, then it becomes a problem.

Its frowned upon culturally. To be honest I wouldn't do it I love my family too much and I'd miss them a lot. The only time I do will be after marriage I'm not including university. Talk to your parents what they think about it

I know what u mean. I'm not saying the Muslim culture is terrible but I have heard of horror stories that have happened to Muslim girls who move out before marriage or do something against there culture and get killed.

Pretty sure it's not against your religion. My sisters moved out to study in a another city and my parents are religious.

I just want to be independent. plus my family is complicated. It's a long story but I still feel bad for leaving them even if they aren't the best parents. If I didn't feel guilty I would have left. Some of my relatives are also really religious and if they found out I want to move I would be in big trouble.

honestly I'm not religious bc I don't agree with how strict my culture is. I just feel guilty for leaving my shitty parents even though they are horrible people and I don't know what my religious relatives would do if they found out I moved. I really don't want to stay at home though I want my own life that isn't controlled by my parents
