I own a snow dog, an Alaskan Malamute and although she loves to be outdoors she isn't out there non-stop. She also LOVES lying in the sunshine zonking out. You just have to be very mindful to keep an eye on how long they're out in it and how hydrated they are. Their double coat actually helps keep them cool as well as warm (which is why you should never shave a snow dog!).
I live in the UK and despite what people think, it can actually get quite hot in the summer. I can't walk our girl in the afternoons as it's too hot , so we walk her early before the it hots up and then in the cooler evenings. People have huskies in Australia and those dogs look as happy as any other, you just have to be a very mindful owner when you have a snow dog.
My bf's neighbor imported 2 fully-grown Siberian Huskies here in the Philippines! Siberian Huskies in the Philippines!! The poor dogs look like they're suffering in the heat. Along with other dogs, the owners always cage them outside where it's hot. They's so concerned for their indoor furniture more than the health of the dogs.
Dogs are more resilient than that, but in hot countries you should be careful of any breed overheating.
As long as you have places for it to cool off, there’s nothing wrong with it. The argument could be said that if you cannot *afford* a large home with AC and a large garden, then you shouldn’t really have a big dog in the first place.
Huskies can actually adapt to their environment very easily. As long aa the dog was born and raised in that climate they will adapt. I have a husky and have never had an issue of it getting to hot in California.

I think D is the closest to my views.
I think people should register all pets with no fees attached.
I think people who intend to buy or do buy breeds like these should be given ample information (via rescues and animal rights organizations money) about the breed and what they need. And I think they should pass a quiz or they will be fined for not knowing how to properly provide for it.

I think it is dangerous to outlaw law abiding people from owning ANY pet, except for obvious cruel housing or care issues. There are so many cats and dogs that need good loving homes it is unwise to begin regulating unnessarily because the net result is unlikely to help the overall needs of pets
I live in a country that we have extremely hot or extremely cold weather. And I have a huskie and he adapt really quik.. When its really hot I leave him to get into the pool and fresh himself. And when Its really cold , I keep him inside the house and then Ill walk him. Its not a big deal.
Dogs needs a loving home and family no matter where in the world. If they are taken care of and have food and all they need + love. Its not a problem.
With proper precautions like places to go to cool down, complete access to indoors (not a doghouse), water all the time, and grooming to get rid of extra coat when shedding
I'd say it would be fine as long as they're properly groomed, to keep off any excess hairs, keep their hair a bit shorter, and as long as people keep them cooler

That's a good point, but I think animals are adaptable. I personally wouldn't have one in warm/hot climate, but to each his/her own.
If you provide an air conditioned dog house or kennel then yes I think its fine. Of course fresh cold water should be available at all times.
