If Russia is a conservative religious country which believes in traditional gender roles, why they allowed women to play tackle football?

I also thought Russians hate western culture. There are actually women teams and men teams in Russia. Also, national American Football teams for both women and men. However, I find it odder for Russian women to play tackle football due to the conservative religious Russian culture which makes a huge deal to follow traditional gender roles

B. They are secretly a liberal society

C. Both A and B

D. Conservative religious people are hypocrites

My family and I are mostly Russian. Conservative traditions and values still stand, but that doesn't mean there are restrictions. There is no law against women playing tough sports. Look at the olympics. If they want to play American football, fine. In the United States and some other countries, feminists attack the government and culture for no good reason. Russian women are chill and cool. If my stepsister in Russia decided to play American football, fine. Send me a video of a game.
