It sounds fake to me. You’re either a man or a woman. You can be a woman born in a boy’s body or a man born in a girl’s body, or you can be a feminine man or a masculine woman but you’re still either a man or woman. You can’t just choose to be some made up third option.

Claiming that you’re not the gender you are because you don’t fit in with every stereotype is sexist. And as a transsexual woman I feel mocked by non-binaries.

The prefix “cis” means “on the same side as.” So while people who are transgender move “across” genders, people who are cisgender remain on the same side of the gender they were initially identified as at birth

It looks like the prefix of cis has some relevance in chemistry

Sometimes you won’t know at all since you can’t see it from the outside tbh a year ago, my female-to-male transgender friend found out he was born with a uterus and vagina and also undeveloped testicles inside of his body. He didn’t know at all until he got an xray.
