I consider 19 still a teenager. Nine-TEEN. In any case, 18-19 is barely even an adult and most people that age do not act any differently from 17-year-olds. It is not at all like what a lot of people seem to like to think, where you go to bed on the eve of your 18th birthday a silly teen and wake up on your birthday an enlightened adult.
It also depends on what you are doing that is considered "immature". In my experience, a lot of actually very immature people trying really hard to convince everyone they're "real adults" that are around my age see having fun and cracking silly jokes as "immature". If it's harmless and you're having fun, who cares?
I consider the high school "Mean Girls" catty behavior, treating people like shit for no reason or belittling them over stupid things, always trying to one-up each other, and being petty and childish as immature.

My partner and I are 23... yesterday while packing he pulled out a nerf gun that had been in there and shot me... I then dramatically died on the bed...
First, you are technically still a teenager at 19, second as long as you acting "immature" does not stop you from living a good life and doing what you need to do, then that's ok :)
Absolutely not. There is nothing written or implied that you have to be 100% serious. So long as you're serious when it's warranted then that's all that matters. Life is to short to be a "stick in the mud". Life is to be enjoyable, it's stressful enough with all the crap that is going on now. With the exception of drugs try everything as to not have regrets later in life.
I don't know depends what that definition of immature is
My sis thinks if you are having fun and cracking jokes you are immature, so to be mature you should be serious all the time
However my psychologist says you have to have fun and laugh snd he doesn't consider that being immature
So like i said depends who you ask and what they consider immature

"Am I too old to be "immature" & still act like a teen?" Is that what you want to do? Why?
LISTEN TO ME! Any adult that says openly to act like an adult is not an adult you want to be like. Just contain yourself at work and when taking care of an infant, aside from that goof off as much as you want, don't let anyone tell you to stop, fuck them.
Nope. Some people in their 20s have a mental age of 16, so it's hard to say when you actually mature. Or at least that's the way I see it. But there's times where you have to be serious and then there's times where you don't have to be. We usually can stay the same in some ways, only difference is we get older and learn more.
I would say it depends on what is pertains to. In some ways i act my age in other ways i act 12.
Never grow up so much you become so set in your ways. Always keep your mind open to new ideas, new ideas change the world. These are good ways to stay young. You have to be as you want to be Life is very short Just a blink of the eye Dont live your life others but take every day a a special So you can come and go to bed remembering what a great day that was Do one actual random kindness each day Your life will collect treasures and throw the rubbish
you can be childlike, not childish
childlike is your optimism and the things you like, and how playful and silly you feel like being
but you can't be childish, you can't refuse to take blame for things you've done wrong or not have a plan or not use critical thinking skillsGirl I feel you. Truth be told, we are stuck in the middle of being teens and adults. Although we are adults, technically speaking, we are still treated like teens. Once I surpass 23, then I think I would consider MYSELF to be an adult.

You don't have to lose your "immature" side if that's who you are and you're happy, but as you grow up, you can still be that person as long as you aren't lapsing in your responsibilities in taking care of yourself or others.
It's important to be a responsible adult, but too many people think "growing up" means losing your sense of adventure and fun. As long as you're responsible and working towards your future, there's nothing wrong with having a childish side.
Always been immature never let the teen in you leave. To not be is boring.
The prefrontal cortex of the brain aka the area that’s responsible for decision making isn’t fully developed before the age of 25 so you’re hella young sis.
19 and acting like a teen you say... acting older than I am. I figure I act like an 8 to 10 year old. I'm thinking once I hit 70 I might at least 17. It's all a best guess really, I'm gauging my future mentality based off Willie Nelson's progress.
It's a fun age to be, it's weird cause if you have older friends most of them are in university/college or even have a real job and then you also may still have friends in highschool
You’re still a teenager! Enjoy it while you still can!
I am 30 I sometimes act like a toddler I still feel like a 16 Yr old boy I think I am stuck there mentally lol😂
No enjoy your youth. I know literal men in their 30's, even 40's who act like straight up man babies. Even women.
Not at all. 19 is young! Enjoy this age. It doesn`t matter what other people think.
When you act like a 13 year old all the time it would get very annoying.
But if you have a nice balance it is fine I guess. You're nineteen.
You still are a teenager.when you get to 53 you realize we all think we are 24 lol
