What things have YOU seen that other people wouldn't believe?

Certain rock concerts in the 70s. "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe."

Here's something else: Two friends and I were backpacking. One night, we were camped on the side of a large, bare, rocky amphitheater-shaped area with a lake at the bottom. Thousand Island Lake near Yosemite, if you've heard of it.
All of a sudden, the entire panorama lit up in a white light, as if a bright spot light had been switched on. We looked up and saw a large meteor streaking across the sky. It was at a very low altitude and streaked right over the lake from left to right. The tail was a mile or miles long. We expected to hear it impact the ground. Several seconds after it passed over, we heard a rumbling like a freight train. It was the thunder of the meteor ripping through the atmosphere.

Another time, a group of friends and I were camping near a creek in a canyon in Orange County, Ca. At dusk, I was walking along the narrow trail next to the creek. In front of me, the ground was undulating in the faint light. Upon looking closely, it was thousands of orange newts, packed closely together, migrating from the creek, across the path, and up the leaf-strewn bank on the other side.

The year of 2020/2021. The year you had to wear a mask to walk into a restaurant, but once inside you were perfectly safe to take it off.
Say what you want about the China virus, but deep down the virus cares and honors restaurant rules.

Of course the staff still had to wear masks, because Covid hates staff.

I once found 130+ ice cream bars (Nestle Crunch, Butterfinger, Drumsticks) in boxes in the middle of a busy street the day my grandma died. And it was like 80°F outside but they were still frozen when I stopped traffic and loaded them all into the car. Then I stuffed them all into the freezer at home. And there was enough ice cream for everyone who came to the funeral home. So my guess is it was my grandma's ghost who knocked them off the truck because I have never found anything that delicious in the street before or after... and neither has anyone else I know. :)

They were all still frozen so they must have just fallen off a truck cuz it was a hot summer day in August. A cop asked me if they were my boxes and I just said no but I was getting them out of the street cuz they were a safety hazard. He waved and thanked me. There were 12 boxes I think and only one got crushed. The other 11 were sealed up and near perfect. So 11x12 = 132 Ice cream bars.

I saw one of the only productions of SPIDERMAN: Turn Off The Dark when it was off broadway, a little over a decade ago, before they shut the show down because of work related injuries from the aerial stunts performed over the audience. I was seated right next to one of the landing pads, i could've touched the actors! It was amazing! But the actual show itself, in my opinion, sucked, but totally worth seeing them fly around the theater!

An acrobat at the shrine circus falling from a huge ceiling to the floor and surviving with just a broken hip and leg. She knew to fall limp to minimize her injuries. Pretty scary thing to see when I was 9.

When people commit suicide by jumping from a tall building they don't go splat, the go BANG! like a bag of wet cement. I almost got hit by one once. It's why I don't stand close to tall buildings any more and when I have to I'm constantly looking up.

About 20 years ago I was at an air show and watched a pilot take off and land vertically in a very old biplane and he did all the same maneuvers as a Harrier except not as fast. I was stunned when I saw that. He took off and landed in a smaller footprint than the Harrier as well. He also hovered completely vertical while slowly rotating in both directions, something a Harrier can't do.

Well i am sure people could believe this but it is an a funny story, maybe not for the cop involved. So let's just say i had to spend a night in a police station for reasons, and on the way in there was a woman just naked on the floor with a blanket over her but clearly naked otherwise. While i was getting processed, the cops decided to try and move her again which they must have been unsuccessful the first time.
This safe to say was a bad idea. When a naked woman don't want to be moved she will bite you on your ear do be warned. So yeah the cops tried to grab her and pick her up but as she was in the air yeah fully naked now. She lashed out, when nothing was working Nom went the ear of a cop holding her.

Pretty sure she was also the one who was banging on the walls all night to her cell. But I don't know. Tbh best thing i've ever seen.

Went to a nightclub in Taiwan and I ended up talking to the owner a bit. He seemed like a really cool guy and he even got me and my group some free drinks. It was a pretty huge club with hundreds of customers, lasers, smoke, loud music.

Yet later on, around closing time, one of the customers started yelling at the owner outside the club. So the owner made a motion to the bouncers and then they grabbed him kicking and screaming and they dragged him into the club and shut and locked the doors!

First time I saw a customer being dragged kicking and screaming into the club rather than being kicked out of it.

My friends and I were like, "What the hell just happened? Did we just witness a crime taking place? Maybe a murder?" That was really interesting.

I kept imagining those scenes from the films where they bring the guy down to the basement or the club or something and wrap him up in duct tape and start breaking his fingers one by one with a hammer. It really looked like they were planning to do something like that to him with the way he was screaming so hard and trying to grab the door frame and prevent the door from closing.

I seen a miracle. I seen a man just appear from no where. He showed up when it was a tragic situation., he helped turn it around by fixing something, then he walked away and it was so very very odd but grateful i was able to start my truck and drove away and stay safe from the possibilities that were approaching from a near by location. I won't be specific as it is personal but he was just there and then gone and yet like he knew me and that i needed help. all the while a back drop of fog and haze was thick, and no before anyone asks i wasn't high, or drunk. very lucid and aware of how this sounds. I just thank the good lord he was there when he was.

I haven’t put a nail through my hand, but bungee jumping with girlfriend apparently her cord snapped. They say it happened after the big bounce so she “prob been ok”. Luckily we did it together arms wrapped around each other.
