Funny how cuntservative boys are so mad at women and so gaslight them and blame them in the commentsection. These boys want women to be like 1950's aka to be beta cuck slaves. Of course women seem more happy in 1950s if they dont even have choice to show their discomfort such as rape in marriage, abuse, cheating etc. They seem happy because they probably have Stockholm syndrom and again have no right to show their discomfort. This is very common with opressed women in third world countries. If your wife rape you with strap-on-dildo, cheat on you, dont allow you to divorce, spank your little ass, when you dont obey but complain, would you dare to express your discomfort? Yes. Women used to have a less stressful life as home makers or working but not being relied on to pay significant bills. These days women are relied upon to pay significant bills. Women in general are not very capable at handling ongoing high stress WITHOUT it interfering in their personal demeanor and home life. They can't leave work at work like men are much better able to do that. This is why most women have anxiety and depression problems. As a well off man I've dated women who have serious anxiety and depression issues trying to work and go to school and get ahead. The second i have them quit all that to live a quiet life of a home maker all their issues disappear overnight basically.

Absolutely! I remember the past and how my mother and aunts were quite happy… they didn’t seem to care about what feminists think is important today. They had a great family and a great life. Lots of fun times, nice family vacations, parties, and they raised their families not some daycare.

My wife has had a great life as well. She raised our three children, has a great family around her and hasn’t had to work since 1987. Women today have been told a bunch of horror stories about women in those time but all was more than well. You can still catch a glimpse of their lives in old movies which show some of how it was.

Back then we were not expected to bring money to the relationship, as well as do other stuff that was deemed fitting only for a man (like fix the house and fix the cars when they were broken).

Nah I think people are just getting more in tune with their emotions and stress is a part of that. Back then getting stressed really held you back, even as a woman. You got three babies crying one kid is sick with God knows what and you have to make dinner, quiet the kids and clean the house before your husband gets home or he might beat you or something. There's no time to be stressed out. Nowadays there's plenty of support systems and healthy ways to let your stress out rather than just holding it all inside.

I think most people these days are more unhappy and stressed out than in the past.
Materialism, overconsumption, urbanization and alienation from each other and nature contribute to this phenomenon. Also unrealistic beauty standards that are propagated by social media and the film industry can be extremely stressful for women

Strictly depends on the individual and their circumstances.

For those married or in romantic relationships, it will be more stressful because you are dealing with another person and perhaps kids, and their needs and desires which creates expectations and stress.

Moreover, women in the past generally though were treated like trash in America, i. e no voting rights, expected to be stuck at home all day cooking and cleaning and men physically abused women a lot more making them miserable and stuck in a hell hole of a marriage.

Uhm well... my grandma cooked, did the garden and sewed clothes... but it was my grandfather who was responsible to bring he food at home. I work an average of 11-12 hours a day and i also have to cook and clean. Have no time to make myself pretty or find myself a boyfriend, and have to budget my money myself. I guess my answer is yes?

It doesn’t take much to set one off, such as a hello. They are unraveling and seem borderline psycho anymore. Women alcoholism is through the roof and medications are a common as popcorn. I see some coworker women out slamming down at least a bottle of wine a night. How the hell can they do that long term. Some of my ex-s that are working and drinking continuously look exhausted, wrinkled and used up. Stressed you say? I think many are about to go tilt. Well, at least they don’t need a man.
