In my mind these things are contradictory but I've heard people saying that she is not "less black" and she can still fight against racism.
Thoughts?
Yes because there are few actual white racists. I'm so tired of hearing about racism here in the USA. Yes there are some but that's with any race. Nobody gonna like everybody, that's just facts. What it is here in the USA is a tool that marxists use to make a country communist. And I never see a white man or a group of white men follow around a black man & white woman or just break their necks and won't stop staring or mean mugging. Now you take a black man or group of black men and let a black woman and white man walk by or even drive by and every one of them will give themselves whiplash spinning their head so fast and will follow them around just obvious staring and mean mugging trying to intimidate them so how is that not racist? It's such a double standard going on that it's just comical to me anymore. I don't buy into the whole racism thing because I know it was created by those who rule over us to cause division. Divide and conquer and as long as we are united they know that they can't control us and run all over us as they've been doing. He who controls history (or the making up of it) controls the narrative.
Are you a twinflame or do you just like the 2 swans in your profile pic? Or do you know what a twinflame is?
Oh, it's hard to tell. You should look it up. It's like a soulmate but strictly romantic. You can only have one twinflame but you can have many soulmates.
I didn't either till I met my twinflame which is never even heard of but there was denying something was very special about this person. Even her touch would send chills of pleasure throughout my body.. We connected immediately as if we'd known each other in many other lives. We are telepathic also.
Love has no color. That is a true.
But if she is going to stand for black people then she should be with a black guy.
It is not a bad thing that she dates a white man, but it feels disappointing somehow, honestly speaking.
God bless her union, she should never be ashamed.
However I would not take her very seriously. It's very contradictory.
I always like to see black couples better (that makes me happier). Because it represents future and continuation.
Yes, of course. Being pro-Black and anti-racism does not mean that person is anti-white. If anything it proves she accepts people for who they are which includes their race. She doesn't allow race to stop her making a genuine connection with a person. Some people don't have the emotional intelligence to comprehend anti-racism. It isn't Black Against White. It is Everyone Against Racism. Find your person and love them!
Do... Do you understand what racism is?
Just because someone marries someone of a different race doesn't mean they stop having their own opinions and values. If anything, marrying someone of a different race shows that you aren't racist, comparatively.

Isn't that how everyone is today, I mean the kkk hates everyone but when they're not out bring good ole boys keeping up tradition you know yelling their moto at everyone they pass in their Toyota tundra pick up truck with their pointed dunce cap on after dark those good ole boys go straight to the hood hang out with black women and in da club partying to snoop Dogg and tu pac and know all the lyrics, black lives matter for instance, still don't know how they got that name by the politically correct gang I mean that's wait didn't it be called African American life m matter of are we back to calling black black now, I'm getting tired of referring to my car as yeah I got a African American color car, or can I see those pair of Nike'S in African American please, let's be honest no one is true to their beliefs anymore I mean we are all so intertwined genetically I'm black with a Mexican name, not black black shade or 2 lighter, ok 8 shades lighter, so why racism still exist, all I can think of is we hate to let go of the past, now getting back to our good ole boys, why did the horse have to wear a dunce cap I mean the horse don't give a damn who you are that rides his ass just don't shoot him if he breaks a leg and fresh hay and a young fine Philly in his stable every day is all he cares about
I wouldn't have anything against her, and I don't see how that would go against her antiracists beliefs - exactly because she's married someone of another race, it means she's against racism. Plus she can marry whoever she wants, without distinction of race, beliefs, gender and/or sexual orientation.
My own political campaign revolves about inclusion and destroying prejudices about other races - my running mate is a Chinese-Korean woman - so I would be an hypocrite for being married with a white person? Racism has nothing to do with whom you love, unless you actively discriminate people of a certain race.
Well, to be honest I faced some criticism online because of that - ie. ''If you love Chinese so much, why didn't you marry one?'' but I understand what you mean. However, I do feel it would be wrong to put down a black woman because she married a white guy/girl. People don't command whom they fall in love it!
Absolutely. I've heard this shit so many times and it baffles me everytime I hear/read it.
This concept works under the premiss that you can't possibly support any other race than the one you marry. By that reasoning whites who marry whites couldn't possibly work for black peoples interest and vice versa if a black person marries a black person they can't possibly work for any interest outside their own race.
What happens then if a White person marry a black person? Are they by this concept more likley to help members of their partners race than they are likley to help their own?
Choice of partner isn't a factor for being a decent human to others.
lol no you’re good, I didn’t mean to sound so confrontational... sorry about that
What is the issue if she marries a white man or any man for that matter? Disliking someone for the color of thier skin isn't just a black and white issue. Racist generally don't like anyone that isn't a part of whatever race they are.
Keep in mind that who someone falls in love with is thier business and if she wants to fight racism and be broud of her culture and who she is as a black woman why wouldn't I take her seriously.
Who she marries has not a damn thing to do with her supporting black people, black businesses, black anything.
She is a proud black woman that fell in love and married a caucasian man. So what... if she is happy, be happy for her for staying true to herself no matter who she is married to.
You ask would we take her seriously if a black woman did the following
1. She is against racism.
2. Supports black people.
3. She dates or marries a white man.
Yes I would take her seriously, because marrying or dating somebody of a different colour demonstrates she obviously doesn't focus on colour/race, thus she is not a racist.
You make it sound like only black people suffer racism, and a black woman marrying or dating a white guy makes her a traitor or untrustworthy.
Being anti-white people can also make a person a racist.
Racism is the unfair treatment of others or belief in the superiority of a group because of their race. This is the “old” definition and by it there is no contradiction between marrying someone of a different race and standing against racism. In fact, anti-miscegenation laws in the US were struck down because they were deemed to be racist.
The new thinking ascribes the guilt of racism to all white people. Robin DeAngelo says “All white people are racist.” I can see how people who believe this way might criticize marrying a white person. Fortunately, we (at least for now) still have the freedom to think for ourselves and you don’t have to agree or let the new way of thinking interfere with true love if you have found it with a white man.
To be honest with you I don't take anybody seriously that has to use the word Black or White in a sentence because it's usually a race bait and it's usually the stupid question it makes no sense anyway if you have to use the word black and white in any type of sentence it's usually to get shit started one way or the other I was just fucking old that's all is 2021 you can either be a part of the problem or a problem part of the solution and everybody needs to make that choice I choose to be a part of the solution
It doesn't matter what race you date, you aren't more or less of anything dating any race. I'd say it's more racist to say, "I'll only date my race because dating outside of it means I'm a traitor to my race." There's nothing wrong with a preference for a specific race, unless it's only because of the way other people think of you, or because of specificly racial/political reasons.
Yes.
Wouldn't it be racist to not give a white man a chance if she was into him.
People against racism, hates racists, not white people.
The internet and media has made this a black vs white battle, instead of what it really is.
Racists against non racists.
Of course she can talk about racism even if she is not with a black man. And no, I would not lose respect for her. That would be completely bizarre. Being against racism does not mean that you hate and exclude all other races except your own. Quite the opposite in fact.
I would respect her more because she’s not basing her love life off of race. If a black women falls in love with a white man that’s good for her an I hope she love the happiest life she can give her self and her family
it would be racist for her to marry a black man just because he’s a black man and refuses to date white men because there white. loving someone has nothing to do with race
Bro why would that discredit her? Supporting black people doesn't mean she has to only date from that pool. Otherwise people who support LGBT would be discredited if they didn't marry someone who was LGBT. Yeah excluding them from your options only because of their race is racist but I'm not gonna assume her reasoning is that unless maybe if she dates a ton of people and they're ALL white. Then that'd be suspicious.
Yes, she likes who she likes that doesn’t mean that people shouldn’t take her seriously, I personally don’t date white women because I just don’t care to date one but if another black person does so be it I have no problem with it unless they are like some of these black guys I’ve seen on social media saying white women are better and trashing black women
More because she proved she is not racist by marrying a white guy. Besides black guys would rather have white women. You can't force a black guy to marry a black woman. Also she did actually get married and not play house , so she gets even more points from me.
Yes. For one, not all white people are racist, despite what Fox News would have you believe. Anyone can be against racism, and it doesn't matter who she is with as long as they're not racist. Not taking a black woman seriously because she is with a white man is actually racist.
... It would mean that she is definitely against racism. A racist person don't date people outside of what they call "their race", and if they do they either tend to have flings with people of "other races", or serious contradictions with their partner of another "race".
Quite the contrary. I think it bolsters her stance. Because to quote a sign I saw at a black lives matter " pro black does not mean anti white".
Well white people have to get up and go to work everyday to. You can see how the term "white privilege" might anger us.
But I watched a movie called "best of enemies" that started to change my viewpoint. Taraji P Henson did a superb job when she said that white folk has misery but black folk has misery on another level that white folk don't even acknowledge.
That when white folk send their kids off to school they don't have to worry about them becoming another statistic. They don't have to worry about (in the movie the klan members). But being harmed by the people who are sworn to protect them.
And no one can deny that we have a white and black justice system in America.
Yes I can see why it can anger you guys. But "white privilege" doesn't have to do with having to work or not. It has to do with the way white people are treated and perceived by society.
I think I need to watch the movie you mentioned. I really like Taraji P. Henson movies, she's a great actress. And I absolutely agree with her character as well as with you.
I also believe that this black and white justice is not exclusive to the US. I believe it's real in countries where white people are the majority and black people a minority. Or at least where white people have more power.
I didn't mean whie privilege has to do with work. I was trying not to write a novel when I mention it. I was trying to sum up.
I'm saying from a white person's perspective we're not born with the silver spoon in our mouths either. I look our privilege as being a million minor advantages we have that add up over time.
I would but the black community that are still slaves to the left won't. She'll be insulted and publicly ridiculed and demeaned.
Still, you have to do what's right by your conscience.
I hope you find what you need.
You're totally wrong with it. And I think that whole USA and Britain too. These people say that they are fighting against racism but actually they are the biggest racists. They support only black race and hate white people.
So my answer: If she fights with racism then she wants equality of all races. So if she marries a white person, there is no problem. She marries him because she loves him and I don't think that in love (or anywhere else) should people look on skin color...
I think it's racist to say that only one race can experience racism. Therefore, if a woman is against racism then she would be open to marrying any race. I'm sure she would still have her preference, but she wouldn't say no to someone just because she didn't like a certain skin color. That's what being against racism is.
