Because Liberal men often ARE cowards, wimps, weaklings, and pussies.
They claim all masculinity is "toxic," yet expect to be taken seriously as men and not the soyboys they are.
They claim women are "oppressed," yet expect everyone to listen to these whiny upper-middle-class Karens without the slightest of clapback or opposition.
They claim Donald Trump is bad, but will unironically support a man who is literally EVERYTHING they claimed Trump is (and worse), in Joe Biden.
They claim Trump got elected by Russian collusion, but will look the other way and ridicule anyone questioning the 2020 US election and the mountain of evidence that foul play occurred there.
They claim to be peaceful and tolerant, but will Cancel Culture and witch mob anyone who doesn't adhere to their dogma.
They claim to be atheist and :logic-minded," but will follow the cult of wokeness and think all blacks, women, gays, and minorities must automatically be on their side and look down on them like they're abused pets or something.
They claim to hate "bigots and hate," but do nothing but spread bigotry towards white men and hate towards conservatives and non-liberals.
They claim to want to "punch Nazis" but will be the first to get their sh*t dropped the second they don a back outfit for ANTIFA.
They claim guns are bad and all gun-owners are murderers, but at the same time, want to defund/abolish the police and allow Black Lives Matter thugs to literally turn Seattle into Mad Max and loot and burn cities with impunity.
They claim to want more rights for minorities and want Daddy Government to rule over everyone, but are also anti-Constitution and generally despise America.
Speaking of which, they despise America and think every single white person in it is "racist," but at the same time, won't move to any non-white-majority country, such as Mexico, Brazil, or China.
They expect to be heard at all times and "allow everyone to have a voice," yet will post on this very site like the spineless pussies and cowards they are, and "report hate speech" against anything that doesn't kowtow to their cult-like ideology of fascism and groupthink.
Obviously, not all Liberals are like this. But speaking as a former (Classical, TRUE) Liberal myself, I detest what that term has come to mean now and now SJW's and wokeness have hijacked it. Nowadays, I'm a Centrist and Independent and don't have any allegiances to any party or side. Modern American Liberals are truly awful, nowadays.

Because they are. First and foremost if you are so terrified of others that you want them disarmed, your a coward. If you need the government to steal other peoples resources to make your life easier, your weak. We also know that women are far more likely to lean left, in fact so much so that since women had the right to vote they have, as a whole, always voted left. The likely reason is the very reason stated in the other study, that women are by their nature physically less strong then men and more concerned with defense and resource acquisition and a stronger and more powerful (and by extension more oppressive) government can provide those things to her. So men on the left (and that is the correct term as they are not liberal in the slightest (except perhaps when it comes to more hedonistic tendencies)), push for the same things and its more then reasonable to presume that its because they are more biologically inclined towards it due to their physical or perceived physical limitations (since they cannot compete (or believe they cannot compete) in a free society, it only makes sense that they advocate for a system that protects them and provides for them (though I do not think this is a concious view on their part (most people operate subconciously)).

I find that they are empathetic, understanding, tolerant, pleasant, great listeners, challenge out dated moths, and respect the autonomy of women. All very attractive and respectable qualities.
I don't like cowardness in anyone, they tend toward group think, view nearly everyone as a' victim' and hide behind their lib friends as a protection.
What ever happened to the individual, logic and reasoning , these are now viewed as 'offensive' , one is thought of as an outsider by daring to think for themselves , looking for alternative information , presenting thoughtful outside the box ideas , this is all seen as abnormal.
Narratives are forced mostly because these people fear standing alone.
When I use the word Lib I'm implying the Neo Lib , the group thinker , the narrative believer and the cancel culture obsessed, they don't believe in free speech, they want only their speech. which is a cowardly act, they cringe at the thought of anyone thinking for themselves.
As a woman , I find the whole sisterhood group think annoying. Men are the enemy, women that don't fall in line are viewed as hating women. They love playing the "victim' and want all other women to think of themselves as " victims' No one gets anywhere in life when they reinforce ' victimhood' status on themselves, they get weaker and weaker.-
Well, here is my thoughts and this comes from experience.
Just look at the people you grew up with in high school.
In my class, you have two sets of Liberals. You have the idiots. The dumb ones.
The others are book smart and extremely selfish.
Both were never good at sports. If there was an advantage with say a test. If it was easier to cheat, they would do it. They love doing the bare minimum, but will let everyone know they are the hardest working human beings their is and no one comes close.
They love to play games. They rationalize everything they don’t agree with to fit their own narrative. Very authoritarian. Many are Narcissists. Many are followers; sheep. Still, they will never and I mean never admit when they’re wrong. Like when Trump kept beating them at their own game, they come up with some other rules. For example, metoo was created when they manufactured a crime against Kavanaugh, but when a real case accusation came against Joe Biden it was “nothing to see here” and metoo disappeared.
This is a big one. They spend too much time thinking with their right brain instead of their left. Fantasy vs reality.
Both groups don’t care about anything, but money and power. Perfect example. Cuomo putting sick in nursing homes along with 4 other Democrats allowing for over 200,000 deaths and not one peep from the base. But cheered when Cuomo got an award.
The Democrats have the biggest divide. They have the elite and those that either think they are or want to be Elite. Mostly it’s the very rich and the poor. The ones that get it, but still choose to deceive others. The ones that use zero critical thinking skills, are easily controlled through emotions, the useful idiots.
The media perfects that. Controlling people through emotions and Fear. Covid a 99.8% recovery rate and we have people flipping out over everything.

This was really laid bare for me seeing the reaction by leftists to the 2015 New Year‘s Eve sexual assaults in Cologne, Germany and the many others committed by fake asylum seekers around that time and the years after it. Leftist European males tried to cover them up or, when that was impossible, tried to downplay them or even threaten to prosecute people for talking about them. If that doesn’t show weakness, I don’t know what does.Because most people in the US don’t know what liberalism is even though it’s principles are the central tenets of the constitution. The media has conditioned them with misinformation. As a result conservatives think communists (social democrats/progressives/Left-Libertarians/Anarchists) are liberals, and the communists by any other name don’t realize they are working for the communists agenda. Meanwhile the real liberals are independent of political party and as patriots stay true to our constitutional foundations.

These are traits that are generally regarded as feminine. It's more common to see this type of irrational wishful thinking in women.
