Taxing the rich doesn’t really make a difference tho and it just go to the government to support illegals. I say we just get off the federal reserve and start fresh and do things the right way
@Nick473 lol yes it does? The rich shouldn’t be evading taxes, the only reason why the government hasn’t done anything about the rich tax evading is cause they pay them for lip service so the general public doesn’t question
Yes thats okay. I can't come into your home and tell you what you can or can't throw out and it should be the same for buisnesses. They own the products they chose what to do with it
You gotta think about the reason behind this too. a lot of people sell on amazon and ship there products to amazon facilities to have a hands off approach. If they shut down there buisness or break Amazons terms of service and no longer have a buisness with amazon than amazon legally can't sell there products. They are forced to throw them away
millions of new, unused or returned goods are ending up in bins destined to be dumped and burned. This is not only WASTEFUL but destructive to the environment
the stock is considered “unsellable” because it’s outdated or has been returned. And even if it’s in pristine condition, it may be simply more expensive to store while waiting for a buyer than to destroy.
What is clear is that Amazon, like all global corporations, works within a business model built on greed and speed.
Under this model, the shelf space in warehouses becomes more valuable than the items themselves. And the quicker items can be sold or destroyed, the quicker it can make space for more products – and the higher the companies’ profits.
At this point you’re just dancing around the point. This is not an individual issue, temperatures will continue to reach record highs and low. You’ll see an increase in natural disasters all because our governments too greedy and drunk on its own selfishness to hold these companies accountable.
I agree with taxing the rich (not more, making them pay, the middle class doesn't have to bear the burden of taxation whilst the wealthy class avoids it all)
Oh they'll leave the country? Sorry i'm past that, send someone to murder them.
pretty much. the US debt is 126 percent of GDP. and we are still in the same economic shit as we were in 2008 when the market almost collapsed. Only now we shut down whole economy for a year, and have run away inflation.

Fcked if we do or fcked if we don’t. We have to spend to keep our economy running and old people alive. I’d personally say stop the fcking socialistic military spending.
Countries deal with debt differently than companies and individuals, they will likely make a deal to get rid of a large amount. Something like "I suppose we'll ignore China for the next 5 years"
It will as long as the Conservatives are unwilling to vote for anything that doesn't make Biden's presidency look like a Train wreck. The U. S. defaulting in our loans will help their goal.
Other countries are going to start getting real angry at the US. The US forced itself in a position to be the global currency but it’s becoming real obvious that it can’t do that well
The USA cannot devalue the dollar because it’s not a fixed currency in the first place.
@doopayo
Other countries being mad at the US for its monetary policy has happened since the 1970s. The US has literally dumped countries in economic crises for its own monetary policy concerns domestically. It’s something to be expected when countries fix their currency to the US and it’s a risk a country fully accepts when doing so
@Juxtapose 100 billion wouldn't be a drop in the bucket man don't change the subject to the pittance that is military spending. (but yea the marshal plan is stupid)
but lets be clear; social security was a pyramid scheme that relied on each generation getting bigger. the moment the birth control pill was invented it wasn't going to last. it needs to be cut
Despite being less than 1% of the population transgender and lgbt bs make up 80+% of the bullshit "social issues" talked about on social media and in the media
When it comes to the US economy it's more than just wars, but they do play a part.
Usury and fiat are the devil
Also less than 1% of the population does not need representation to 99% of the population who most wouldn't even know their existence if not for the internet
Little girl go sit down somewhere. You sre a democrat sheep. There's no saving people like you. You don't even realize you been brainwashed. Your entire identity is what the democrat party tells it to be.
Lgbtq individuals make up around 4-10% of the population depending on the data you’re looking at, so that’s around an estimated 9 million LGBT Americans (this isn’t 100% accurate cause this is just including people out of the closet and identifying as lgbtq) it might be a much larger number.
Either way, it’s not like the governments ever actually going to give the majority representation. The majority of people in congress have been born rich, 245 people that are in congress are literally millionaires. And I guarantee they don’t care about the well being of the average American.
while just 1 percent of Americans are millionaires, 66 percent of senators are millionaires, as are 41 percent of House members.
You got me on the representation through congress being majority of rich people but u do realise I think everyone in congress should be hanged rofl so that makes no difference to me, but when I said less than 1% I meant specifically trans, I don't really care about lesbian/gay/bisexual trans people are legitimately mentally ill and helping transition is what makes them 52% themselves
Than I don’t understand the reason to exclude them, they are still lgbtq. They are still Americans and should have the right to have access to whichever transition services they need because of gender dysphoria and such.
I don’t really see why you don’t believe they should be represented. I don’t really think the problem is really representation. I think the issues that their are people that actually legitimately just hate these individuals and don’t want them to have access to these things.
Dont get me wrong I dont think we should completely disown them as they are born with a mental illness (if you don't have gender dysphoria and you're trans ur an attention seeker) but the treatment is making it worse! M2f trans have to dilate daily otherwise their "vagina" closes up.. like a wound does. Could you imagine being trans yourself and seeing your body constantly reject what you believe? The body is the person you have to convince more than anyone and this is why trans people mostly post op kill themselves. The brutal reality hits and then it's a chair and a noose to escape it.
As for lgb representation i dont care really but if you're representing them for the sake of representing them its cringe
That’s not really the reason behind why trans people have high suicide rates. It’s usually because of rejection from peers/family members. Rampant Bullying, being disowned by their own family, etc. because of this they suffer from other mental health issues which can worsen their dysphoria.
I don’t necessarily agree that the treatment makes it worst because studies show how many trans individuals who have undergone surgery, are significantly less likely to seek mental health treatment for depression and anxiety disorders or attempt suicide in the years following the procedure.
You can't expect to bend reality to suit them, the reality is that they are not what they believe they are.
If they made a pill that removed gender dysphoric thoughts, would you not support that as a better alternative to that they have currently? It would be the same as giving schizos pills to stop them hearing voices
Eh, the tax reform did cost a lot of money with basically no economic growth to show for.
Since the financial crisis, the support among economists for increased spending during economic crises has grown considerably, with it often being preferred over austerity. In contrast, the tax cut achieved basically nothing except way higher deficits
Reducing the debt by a few billion in the year after the tax changes, you call that a spike? Then what do you call what Biden is doing right now? I don't think words can describe it

When things go very bad economically, the next step is to fight or get involved in a war and raise taxes on the rich.
Getting involved in a bunch of unnecessary wars is one of the main reasons we got into all this debt though
No its because they made it legal
They still pay tax its just sertain types of tax
Specificaly for buisness owners
Just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s ok. They allow business owners to throw away perfectly good stuff? Do you think that’s ok because it’s legal
amp.interestingengineering.com/amazon-throws-away-millions-of-unsold-products-every-year
About 30 percent of food in American grocery stores is thrown away. 23 US retail stores generate about 16 billion pounds of food waste every year.
Rich business owners get away with WAYY to much
Yes thats okay. I can't come into your home and tell you what you can or can't throw out and it should be the same for buisnesses. They own the products they chose what to do with it
Millions is a very small number aswell considering how large amazon actually is
You gotta think about the reason behind this too. a lot of people sell on amazon and ship there products to amazon facilities to have a hands off approach. If they shut down there buisness or break Amazons terms of service and no longer have a buisness with amazon than amazon legally can't sell there products. They are forced to throw them away
Um no? It’s extremely wasteful. Doesn’t matter.
millions of new, unused or returned goods are ending up in bins destined to be dumped and burned. This is not only WASTEFUL but destructive to the environment

Go plant trees if your worried
Everything you buy is destructive to the environment. The processing, the plastic, tha packaging. It all goes to the same place eventually

The rich aren’t just planning on leaving the country, they’re planning to leave the planet after they’ve sucked it dry if all resources.

Thats crazy talk. You should be appreciative of the rich
I will never be appreciative to the bastards that sold local industry to the CCP
I don't know what that is but 90% of us won't have jobs without them so its a bit out of wack. You should want them in our country
Don't we see this every few years or have I imagined that?
pretty much. the US debt is 126 percent of GDP. and we are still in the same economic shit as we were in 2008 when the market almost collapsed. Only now we shut down whole economy for a year, and have run away inflation.
Month-to-month inflation is low and economic recovery is strong. So nothing you say is true
Meh, the US like the Soviet Union has had it's day, and was always living beyond it's means anyway.
Been literally broke for decades, along with many states such as California and Illinois. Pensions should be chopped in half for a start.
Fcked if we do or fcked if we don’t. We have to spend to keep our economy running and old people alive. I’d personally say stop the fcking socialistic military spending.

America's "solution" to the debt problem has always been to devalue the dollar. When the value of the dollar goes down, so does the debt.
Other countries are going to start getting real angry at the US. The US forced itself in a position to be the global currency but it’s becoming real obvious that it can’t do that well

@tartaarsaus That just proves you don't know what you're talking about. When the dollar loses value against other currencies it is being devalued.
@EnglishEuropean
Nope. That is called “depreciation”. Devaluation implies a fixed exchange rate.
Seriously, simple difference
Nothingburger. They will raise it again as they always do or mint a platinum coin.
If they dont and default on debt Il be very surprised but will welcome it.
in 2018 70% of the federal budget went to wellfare spending (entitlements) . now its even higher
you have to accept you are going to need to cut some of those programs
Most of welfare is paying SSI which WE PAYED INTO all our lives!
Maybe we could have saved money by not arming the taliban with almost 100 billion.
Them biggest is spending like money on gender studies or lgbt stuff.
Wtf. That's not life or death. That's 4% of the population bro.
Despite being less than 1% of the population transgender and lgbt bs make up 80+% of the bullshit "social issues" talked about on social media and in the media
They brainwash 2 generations of that. Late milllinals and all of gen z.
The Us debt is because of pointless wars and economic recessions? Y’all are just finding reasons out of your ass to hate lgbtq people
When it comes to the US economy it's more than just wars, but they do play a part.

@OpinionOwner excuses. Talk to me when you’re done making excuses for why you can’t engage with my argument.
I grew up conservative by the way, and used to listen to stuff like prager u and Ben Shapiro because my parents made me. Nice try though 😂

Read Stephanie Kelton’s book. None of this is necessary.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/wj2eix1bYrcRemember this dems, you voted for this and now we're paying up
Eh, it was the Republicans voting for a tax reform that massively increased deficit and generated virtually no economic growth
@tartaarsaus Who voted for the spending bills again? Cause even with taxation staying as it was it wouldn't have made any difference.
@Sargentcaptain
I don't think words can describe it
@Rangers
This is utterly dumb. Fiscal spending to recover from a crisis has quite a lot of support among economists in order to improve economic outcomes.
A tax cut that has achieved basically nothing has only costed hundreds of billions every year.
We need to get back to our roots and you know what old school Americans would do Steal somebody else’s land
There not gonna run out they just print more and bring the value down
That’s not how it works.
This is not the first time this has happened and it won't be the last.
