Eric Smith to be released, what do you think?

Eric M. Smith murdered four-year-old Derrick Robie in 1993, as Robie walked through a park on his way to summer camp in Steuben County, New York. Robie was walking alone when Smith lured him into woods near the boy’s home and hit him in the head with a rock, strangled him, and sodomized him with a stick.

Smith was 13 years old at the time of the murder. He is now 41.

i think it's a good thing. He's already served more time than a lot of full grown adults who commit murder. He clearly hasn't spent his prison time thugging up and lifting weights 24/7 like many gangsters do in prison. He's been reading, educating himself and trying to improve as a human.

Hell, I'll just say it. Democrats are letting worse people than this guy out of prison every day; INCLUDING repeat offenders--which this guy is not. Perhaps if this guy was a POC and in the MS-13 gang, Obama would be making phone calls to lobby on his behalf, and Biden and all the deranged lefties on here would be fully supporting his release.

There's no way that someone who committed a crime like that should ever be set free. Plus, he's a danger to society. The other inmates should have dealt with him before now.

It’s scary and I hope he will be closely followed by a psychiatrist and put on mental health medication if necessary. I hope they’ve figured out the reason that he murdered the little boy and corrected that problem. Since he was only 13 at the time, hopefully he has been rehabilitated and will never repeat those actions.
