A few points, first of all, I’m not attacking any of you, like @Pterodon did. Also, you’re putting words in my mouth, I never said all orange man policies were bad. He did two terrible things one was to destroy relationships with basically the whole world and the second one to divide the country, and the latter has profound effects and long lasting. You also have to remember that his policies are still affecting the country today. Now, on the price of gas, that’s not a Biden’s or even US’s problem, that’s an international situation originated by the pandemic. The price of oil is at all time highs and there’s nothing Biden can do about it, if anything that’s more of a Trump’s created problem because his government could’ve hedged 2021 oil prices against a situation where price went up, but he didn’t.

We had cheap gas because of covid. No one left their home for weeks. To the point where a barrel of oil was negative dollars because storing it cost more money. It's all about supply and demand.

Supply was consistent and the demand fell off dramatically during spring and summer of 2020. If you want that fuel price again you need your city looking like a ghost town mid-day. If no one is buying it you have to change the prices accordingly.

Medicare for all is the name of the game. Even historically Republicans like Ronald Reagan dipped a toe for it. We have a universal health care system for dyalisis under Regan. He also started Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) giving everyone (including illegal immigrants) access to ER treatment regardless of ability to pay. It's a decent start but that was a long time ago and needs to update like Medicare for all.
