This Pope will not be missed, and I haven't forgotten that his predecessor was basically forced to abdicate because he wanted to clean house in the Vatican. Between that, his hypocrisy, and just the general turning a blind eye to major crisis going on in the world so he can play footsie with globalist psychopaths, he's pretty abysmal at his job as a leader. I have yet to see him even acknowledge the persecution of Christians in the Middle East and Africa, or stand up for priests being arrested for holding masses during COVID, but he didn't waste time in vocally avoiding the issue of pedophiles in the clergy with "it's not our role to judge."

Catholic Church has been always a congregation of hypocrites. The best tool against illegal immigration is lack of financial welfare. I don't think Vatican will lose a dime for the sake of helping immigrants, they just want earn money with human trafficking and pseudo hospitality in immigrants target countries. Church is a society's parasite like immigrants from Maghreb and middle east.

That said, I could say the same about Jesus and the Bible, both are big fans of immigration (including illegal immigration).

#1: Purgatory is a false doctrine which they teach. #2: That Mary was a virgin and never had sex which is a lie. She had sex after Jesus was born according to the Bible. #3: The Catholic church has the authority to declare someone a Saint which is false. All born again Christians are saints automatically by the grace and blood of Jesus Christ. #4: They teach and call a man (Pope) "Father" which Jesus clearly prohibited calling someone such a title. #5: They teach you must confess your sins to some priest which is a lie.
You don't have to confess your sins to anyone except Jesus Christ who alone has authority to forgive sins.
Haven’t looked into #4 but #5 is just encouraged. Priests are almost just a pathway closer to God. They act as a mediator in our relationship with him and help lead us closer
