The size creation was based off of the sexist thoughts of kings are more important than a queen because they were the male ruler making them automatically more important meaning all their possessions should be bigger and better.
Even the king chair had to sit higher than the queens.
But at this point i don't think it is important

I mean chess is sexist. It implies that a woman cannot run as queen over her people cause once the king falls the whole match is lost like he was the only one able to control his people. But pedantic fact for the sake of it since no one cares least of all me lol.
