For Black People: Cultural Appropriation?

There are a lot of people out there who claim to not be racist, yet they don't try to understand the perspective of black people. Or maybe they do, but they dont try to understand WHY they have that perspective. So I have an educated guess to why. I might be from a black block, but I'm not black. I may have black personality traits, but I never go excessively to the point that it is unnatural. I have a perspective of something that may relate. I'm a white boy from the hood. (Philly). I live in the suburbs now, and see lots of white boys pretending to be Blood and Crip and pretend to be hood. When I see this, I think to myself... you embrace only the ADVANTAGES and style of it, but you don't have to deal with the disadvantages. You doing that is belitting and making insignificant the trauma and adversity that made the culture. It's almost like these guys didn't earn their wings. Does this at all mirror the black experience?
