I couldn't stand to be in the apartment, so I chose to pull the wagon to the dumpster. I bet I threw at least 100 bibles in the dumpster. Her rent was $1800 per month, and the clock was ticking.

I worked with a very nice girl, and I must have given her 50 umbrellas and thousands of felt markers. It just became a joke for us.

when my wife's grandmother died everyone swooped in and grabbed everything that was worth anything. She had an old piano that nobody wanted. It had a cast iron frame and weighed a ton. My wife had lots of memories playing this as a kid so we ended up with it. My wife wanted ot have it tuned and repaired. The piano tuner offered her 15 thousand dollars for it. It is a rare antique. When my wife told the story at a family function, everyone who passed on it was really pissed. It was really funny.

I’m not a Democrat, just a casual, uninvolved observer, but…I don’t think Biden is as bad as he’s being painted to be. This whole thing is about Trump: you either like Biden because he’s not Trump, or you hate Biden because he’s not Trump, seemingly.

Even as someone politically abstinent, I’d have to say that, character-wise, Trump
is the worst person to ever hold the office of President. I’m not here to argue over economic policies, because prosperity is not my concern in a society, only decency. I’d rather live in a shack amongst people with good hearts than live in a mansion around people with hateful, exclusionary, and paranoid hearts. But I mean…Trump is just not a good dude, and you could’ve gathered that long before he was a political figure, it’s not just this fugazi “fake news” excuse everyone always turns to. And it’s crazy, because all I hear about is “Trump 2024” or “this never would’ve happened under Trump”, but if anyone mentions him negatively, the right-wingers start pretending his name isn’t in their mouths all day long, and they pull this very transparent “Trump’s not the president, how come you live can’t shut up about him?”🤦‍♂️😂

I hear almost exclusively right wing media, and this constant barrage of “everything bad that happens is directly Biden’s fault!” is just tiresome and lame. “Everything is Biden’s fault!” is the new “Everything Trump does is racist!” Like when I hear the things Biden gets blamed for, most of it either isn’t solely, or in some cases, AT ALL, his fault. Right wing media has you all so gassed up on the wrong stuff. Everything I hear from people is exactly, to a word, usually, the same thing that was said by the Tucker Carlsons and Sean Hannitys of the world, it’s not even like it’s original thought, you literally have it taught to you at FoxNews Academy every day and every night.

I don’t know, I used to believe conservatives were just about fiscal responsibility and family values, but they’ve just abandoned that and seem obsessed with making life hard for certain people, or at least, not very concerned with making it any easier for them. And of course, so much of that is rooted in hate and ignorance and exclusionary attitudes, and while you can’t say that out loud, never fear, because your same demagogues and their friendly press while spin that story to make seem as if you AREN’T the asshole, and even the HERO, for holding and exercising these terrible attitudes. That doesn’t have to mean every single conservative down to a person, but there’s plenty of them who fit that bill. I mean, bottom line, on a soul level, which is all that we should concern ourself with: inclusion and acceptance = good, exclusion and persecution = bad, pretty universally, with the obvious exception of counter-exclusion and counter-persecution of the people holding and exercising these terrible ideals. I’m astounded that we can’t agree on this as humans.

So, for Biden…. every country in the world is dealing with the exact same inflation problems and gas prices. If Biden is the worst POTUS of all time, than every other world leader right now is too, if that’s the standard. All these things he’s blamed for, almost none of these things are directly his fault, unless of course you WANT IT TO BE, then the appropriate mental gymnastics can be performed to arrive at that conclusion. Just don’t listen to what FoxNews tells you about Biden, holy fuck, talk about being blinded by agenda. He could cure cancer and they’d blame him for destroying jobs in the medical field or something😂😂😂

The Keystone Pipeline -contrary to popular belief- was not shut down, it was never built. If it was built, it would’ve created in the neighborhood of FIFTY jobs — that’s 5-0, just two digits— and only transports oil, it does not produce it. Your problem, despite what you’ve been taught, is with greedy oil companies who don’t need to charge this money, but they do. They could be pumping domestic oil, but they won’t, because that fixes the “supply” problem and meets the “demand”, causing prices to fall, which is terrible news for them…and that’s an exaggeration, they’ll still be wildly rich while you decide between dinner or a tank of gas.

The entire Afghanistan exit, while certainly not as clean as you want, I can’t for the life of me call that Biden’s fault, at worst, his military advisors miscalculated things. But a suicide bomber is no one’s fault. When Trump tells us “it is what it is” when asked about SO MANY MORE people dying from Covid, it’s hard to take it seriously when the same people get fired up about 13 soldiers being killed. No disrespect to anyone, but the military sign up to maybe die in the line of duty. It doesn’t make it not sad, but it does make it not “weird” or “unexpected” when those things happen. If you leave America to go to a hostile country, you might not come back, and you should know that when you step on the plane. That falls under “personal responsibility.”

And to be fair, I read the Build Back Better Act and the infrastructure bill start-to-finish, and I thought it was EXCELLENT. But of course, the Republicans purposely blocked it from happening, CLEARLY in partisan bad faith, not on the merit of the plan. And mark the date and my words, I PROMISE you, somewhere during the midterms or next presidential election, they’ll lean into this “Biden has done NOTHING!” narrative they’re clearly trying to build.

I’m running long here, I have to quit, haha. But the brass tacks of all of this is that presidents don’t have anywhere near the impact and control we’re giving them credit for. If I had a problem with Trump, it’s more about the hateful attitudes his words inspire in people than his actual actions. I just don’t like the effect he has on a lot of Americans, what he makes them think is acceptable. Biden is a narcoleptic muppet, lmao, I don’t think anyone expected him to crush it, but we’re at an unfortunate point in time where bipartisan good faith efforts are out the window, and it’s just become about relentlessly trashing the other guy so your party wins outright, rather than truly achieving the goals of a democratic republic.

I don’t feel like I did. I’m not a Democrat-of-GAG, so I can’t speak for them. I stated my opinion on the current situation as best as I can from my unaffiliated perspective.

If you want me to venture a guess, it’s along the lines of what I said about liking Biden more because he’s not Trump. It doesn’t shock me one bit when someone finds Trump to be very distasteful, and this past election was more “Trump or literally anybody different” than we’ve ever seen in this country. It was more of a question of moral values and who we want the figurehead of our country representing us on a global stage to be. I don’t know a ton of people who were fired up about Biden. He’s a glass of plain milk. Most folks I know liked Bernie Sanders or Trump, Biden wasn’t really the desired candidate, but I think the Democrats were afraid to run Sanders because they feared losing the moderate vote, and again, this whole 2020 election was about removing a bad guy from office, rather than putting a good guy in. Biden is a placeholder. Honestly, that’s kind of what’s ridiculous about right wing attacks on him, he doesn’t really do anything terrible unless you misconstrue something to seem as though he did. The left didn’t give Trump any courtesy or respect, that pissed off the right, and now that the power has shifted, I feel like the right isn’t looking to take the high road, they just want to retaliate. Americans suck, is really the problem, lmfao, we are not a good people, we have terrible attitudes towards life, left and right alike. I’m not very impressed with anyone who lives here, frankly😂😂😂

I get what you're TRYING to say, but I mostly disagree. While the president really doesn't have much power yeah, he's still the mascot and default representative of the United States. If Trump could hypothetically make America look crazy, boorish, and obnoxious, then Biden is doing far worse by making America look extremely incompetent, buffoonish, senile, and a pant-sh*tter who shakes hands with thin air.
