It is no surprise that in the West, a large percentage of Asian women go for white males due to self hatred/inferiority and not actually preference. To explain further many Asian women feel that the Asian race is inferior to that of whites due to combination of media influence and many whites holding dominant positions in society. As such many good looking Asian women will date below average looking white males and have children with them just because they are white. And white guys are aware of this and will often use Asian women for free sex/backups if they can't pull for a white girl; of course this may not apply if said male has a strong preference for Asians.

I mean imagine being her son and knowing that your mom despises you somewhat for carrying her Asian genes and would have never gone out with someone like you.

Yeah, I had a friend in med school who dated this 9/10+ Indian girl who only goes for tall white men. I'm pretty sure if she ever finds herself on wrong side of 30's or 40's that she will 'rediscover her culture' and get wifed up by an Indian guy.
