Joey thinks that the waitress and carpenter are responsible for paying back the debt of deadbeat college grads that feel it's unfair to live up to the obligation they agreed upon.
I believe they call it: "predatory loans." What does that even mean? Does anyone know what that even means? Does it mean that it was like a hostage situation, and a gun was put to their head? Does it mean that they were too stupid to read the contract? Were they given a roofie date-rape drug (Rohypnol)

I paid my loan back, because I just thought that was how you're supposed to do it.
But having said that, I promise to not vote for Trump if Biden forgives my credit card debt and car loan. Now, THAT, makes perfect sense to me.

To be fair a lot of those college grads are actually waitresses maybe not carpenters but certainly maybe factory workers and probably should never have gone to college or been given a student loan they can't pay back in the first place.
We need to take an honest look at college education, the expense, the value of the degrees, the academic ability of those that go and the potential of them getting a career out of it. More and more people are coming to think that if you are going to do a degree in say gender studies etc maybe you don't actually need to attend college, take out a student loan, pay for accommodation, waste 4 years being unemployed but instead do it online at night while working during the day.
Of course loan companies are mad to give out loans and credit even if they know those they lend to aren't likely to pay back like the 2008 credit crunch where bad mortgages collapsed the economic system and of course the taxpayer bailed the banks out. Well its getting to a similar situation with student loans especially in America where every year more and more bad loans are given with no oversight as to whether latesisha who identifies as a gender fluid Bisexual transmexian hippo will ever be able to pay back the £400,000 she spent getting her doctorate in lesbian feminist dance theory over 10 years.
No that shit needs to stop right away because in a few years time all these morons who took out student loans that they can never pay back in 40 years of working minimum wage will simply not be able to pay back these loans and the whole banking system will crash again bringing us all down again and the taxpayer will have to bail out the banks. The taxpayer shouldn't pay the price or bail these idiots out but the banks should cut their loses and stop this practice.

In America, these student loans are usually guaranteed by the government. If they weren't, banks would NEVER take this risk. Banks aren't stupid, the government is. Biden and the gang are pushing this to get votes in November. It's theft, and that's illegal. I had a teacher from Hong Kong. He said that college was free, but you sure as fuck don't get to pick your major. The government decides. They most certainly wouldn't be sending students to Gender Studies college.

Well if that's the case then we can probably guess what is happening. The banks have all these outstanding student loans that graduates and dropouts have no chance in ever paying off or even servicing yearly so they want the US government to pay off these debts on their books. Just like the housing collapse in the US and of course politicians will get votes and funding for pushing this.
It will be marketed as helping people but really it's helping banks get their money back.
I dont think college education is ever free even in Hong Kong somebody is paying for it somewhere and eventually that student in Hong Kong will graduate and contribute to the tax base which paid for their education, kinda circle of life. I personally have no problem with government helping pay or paying for college education if its study in a field that benefits the country or if there's a shortage of skills

Not all investments pan out but if he's sending money home or makes a heap of money in the US and takes it home to Hong Kong for instance.
America takes a lot of talent like this from around the world often they invest in their country of origin sometimes not.
But if your a government investing in education its the overall investment not the individual that matters. Like primary and secondary education in Britain is paid for by the taxpayer but overall eventually these kids grow up and get jobs contribute to the tax base and the cycle begins again. its the same scenario with healthcare here too, obviously there is a small percentage who don't or won't get jobs and contribute taxes towards healthcare and education but those people pay for it in the long run.

Primary education is from 4 years old to 11 , secondary is 11-16 but you can stay on to 18 to do A levels or leave at 16 to take up a trade.
