I don’t agree. Men and women are not equal and the attempt to make them equal hasn’t just made them MORE unequal but it’s forced them to play their weaknesses rather then their strengths.
Men are better with purpose and being taught self control and respect. I think men are given purpose today or taught respect or self control BECAUSE women and men arnt what they are meant to be. If we valued fathers and marriage more there would be less single mothers and fatherless kids. Less women with daddy issues and men that weren’t taught to be men.
It was unfair for women to be… property. But with good came much bad. Now women are able to work and so the single family wage went away and women spend less time in the homes but men still spent 60-80 hours a week out of the home… now women can vote but for the same right men have to sign away their life to the draft but women do not. Women can drive… yay traffic!
I don’t wish bad things in women (unless I feel they deserve it suffer Amber Heard) but someone has to be a clear leader. Men are stronger and shoulder the (arguably) greater burden and responsibility. Feminism lead women to denounce their greatest gift… child birth. People will always look for better in everything. It’s disappointing it’s lead to this point where women ARE the more valuable sex and men are undervalued.
In a world where men rule… I’m happy and married with a family that’s happy. But in feminisms world… society sucks.
The core of feminism has always been and always will be misandry.
Early feminist were as useless and unnecessary as today’s Feminist.
They were fighting for things that women already had or things that society was already working towards.

In regards to the workplace “harassment”, women claim harassment for basic male interest. Women dress for sexual attention, and wear makeup to “look pretty”, and then complain that men are sexually interested.

Pushing your tits up and out, wear low cut tops, wear skin tight clothes, wear short skirts, etc... that is NOT necessary, it is designed to get sexual attention.
Feminism has not fought for anything valid, in the history of feminism. They use shit 3rd world countries as a scapegoat to show “female oppression” but never have they gone to those countries to fight against it. They whine about men sitting comfortably on a bus, bullshit fabrications like rape culture and wage gap, and push cancel culture at anyone who stands up to them.
I support original feminism and what it fought for, and I appreciate the rights I have today because of it. But today's feminism is very different. It's just an embarrassment to the majority of women and gives men lots of reasons to hate us.

Women hold most of the power in the relationship. This is fine when you consider women that understand commitment and are in it till death… but women don’t seem to understand that anymore. The standards expected of men compared to women is lopsided and the risks are almost completely the mens to bare. Certainly the benefits are for women in particular.
The laws and rules we have work when marriage, the family, and commitment are the top consideration. But these are second to more fickle standards today.
I think it is just basic decency to support that all living people have these rights regardless of gender

Has the country gotten better since women started voting? Does the average woman voter have any concept of the issues or does she only “feel” things? Why did Al gore kissing his wife cause many women to decide to vote for him?
Men originally did not give women this right to vote because they understood with great power comes much responsibility. As we can see in todays feminized culture, responsibility means nothing. People rant and rave about feelings and rights but never about being a good citizen or the responsibility for maintaining our government.
So the government is busy convincing women to give up gun and speech rights so no one will get his feelings hurt. We have an open border wherein we are convinced we must help. I can imagine being on a sinking ship and women would never stop news passengers from overloading the ship as long as it was sold as a sad story. Meanwhile, the ship continues to take on water. That’s the US today. Everything is a mess. Our best days are behind us and feminism played no small part.

I wholeheartedly agree with all the original demands.
However today it is a fact that all these demands have been met:
Voting
Owning property
Custody of children
Working
Freedom of speech
No separation in public transportation...
The list goes on.
The issue I have is that they kept asking and asking for more and more rights but never once asked for the responsibility that goes with having those rights.
So today we have the modern day feminists who have all the rights they're gonna get but still feel entitled to more because they were never humbled by having to earn anything.
Ideally there should have never been discrimination to begin with, but even back during the first wave of feminists what should have happened is giving thse women the rights along with the responsibilities that would have carried over better into the future generations

It’s easy to vote Left when they promise war that you don’t have to get drafted into. I support women’s right to be miserable depressed wage slaves/tax cattle just like men but don’t understand why they would want to be when the most important job with who should be the most important people in the world is already there at home, and isn’t trying to get you to make sales calls or go to meetings or find a parking spot after a long commute. I have much more fun with my kids and the day goes by so much quicker that if it were economically viable I would love to raise the kids, and Mother Nature didn’t even set me up for that through evolutionary biology advantages.

as far as voting I don't think anyone should be voting unless or one just sign up for the draft so women should have to sign up for the draft if they're going to vote because that was the original argument against women voting because the ability to vote also came with the ability to get drafted into the military

If you look at the history of Feminism, you will struggle to find any of the leading lights who were not (a) Communists, (b) Jewish and (c) often also lesbian. The late Andrea Dworkin would be a prime example.

In the US context, without women the Democratic Party would not hold a seat.
I think there are negative consequences to every change in society, newly allowed voting women being conned into voting in income tax while men were off fighting ww1, the doubling of the workforce resulting in lower wages. However I can't morally justify not allowing women to work or vote, and won't abide by the mistreatment of my female coworkers from scumbags.
So when in comes to the suffragettes and the like, Im happy the movement took place. I love the women in my life, and no daughter of mine will be her husband's property or have her oppurtunities crushed by a politician.

Equal rights should come with equal responsibilities. Until the day that women do not constitute roughly half the combat and workplace deaths and injuries, we will not have equality. No I realize that men and women are biologically different but when it comes to the vote, everyone should be the same.

Equality of the sexes was a noble goal, but it got corrupted as each generation moved the goalposts more and more. What started as "equal opportunities" is morphing now into "equal outcomes", and what started as "ending discrimination" has become "cancel anyone who disagrees with me.

That's really what "Women's Rights" is all about - equality under the law. Feminism is bad misnomer, in my opinion. There's nothing "feminine" about the right to vote, equal work opportunities, stopping workplace sexism and discrimination. Those are basic human rights in a civil society, and not a definition of "feminism".

Read the Seneca Falls Declaration from the 1850s. One of the goals was to hold men to the same standards of behavior as women. If belching, farting, cussing, drinking and screwing around weren’t acceptable for women, they said they shouldn’t be acceptable for men.
I think a lot of women now want to act every bit as piggish as they perceive men to be. In some areas, like swearing, young women seem to have men beat.

All feminism is the same. Its just about breaking up families and destroying any country that tolerates it at any level. Most sane women dont want the vote or the ability to work. It was always a top down social engineering operation to take women out of the home and into the workplace, take kids out of the homes and into indoctrination camps, which is why it occurred at the same time the public schooling system and income tax rolled out. Women enjoyed more freedom in a sense, but also became further enslaved in another. Children suffered the worst. Mary Poppins actually outlines the fallout of this pretty well
These are human rights. However it's problematic that women's taste in men is still stuck in the pre-1950s era. Women still rate men on education and career achievement, but now men have to compete not only with each other, but with women too.
I agree with women getting equal rights. What I don't agree with is the male bashing you constantly see. Like the Man child doritos commercial. I don't agree with shaming young boys in school and privileging young girls and giving them better grades because they are girls and better behaved. Boyd have their own way of learning and we need to respect them. Yes give women right but also still respect boys.
@KaylaD24 Yes I was treated awfully as boy. I was slow out of diapers and the female teachers made me take adhd medication because I was a little slow and put in special ed. It made me angry all the time and they failed me out of school and said it was my fault. I used YouTube and the internet to get my education. And got my high-school equivalency diploma. I am now finally in college with a 3.9 GPA in a stem field that earned all by myself. But all those years waste and all the suffering was truly awful. I need then and they just left beside to die. And I know other men who are on the streets who went throw similar thing I did. I am just lucky I was smart. I went from having a 60 IQ while on adhd medication to now a 174 IQ in college.
They always treated the girls like princess and treated me like an idiot. All that humiliation and verbal abuse.

@KaylaD24 Part of it was George bushes shitty "No Child Gets Left Behide" policy he made. They couldn't just fail a kid anymore and they have to repeat a grade so they put them in special Ed and put them on adhd medication so they can just blame their poor grades on mental health reasons and just past them through school. They put them on adhd medication when there is nothing wrong with them they are just a child who has a different way of learning. And those adhd medication are very addictive and can make them psychotic or suicidal. So a lot of those kids are homeless or going in and out of psych hospitals. I was lucky to not be one of the unfortunate ones. The sad part is many of those kids that went threw that grow up thinking they are dumb and something is wrong with them and themselves for failing in life.
I realized it was bullshit and I was actually smarter than I taught I was and It was the shitty teachers that were the problem.

Those aren’t feminist ideas. They are basic human rights that everyone should have. But yeah, when it started out, it was a great movement. But "plenty" (which its not) is not all or the majority. Why are the majority of responses in your favour, yet you cannot be happy with the fact they are. But the minority that are against is what you focussed on?

First of all, it's not a scientific poll with a random sample so I don't know how scientific it is as proof that most men aren't sexist though I don't believe most men are sexist but not because of this question. I was responding to the ones obviously that were not in support of original feminism or equal rights so that doesn't include you and I counted at least 13 not in support, it doesn't have to be a majority for me to find it off-putting. However, you take a bigger issue with me acknowledging those users than with those actual users who admitted that. This is fine I guess but I also said nothing about modern feminism which I am not in support of either as it is not supportive of equal rights for men. Suffrage? It's was really only so women who were part of the upper class could vote and own property. The majority of the working classes couldn't vote and a huge number of women were in employment or working housewives and mothers
It was taking classism and the idea of framing the sexs as classes of people and looking how this two classes force differences on people and the negative effects on members of those classes. Goals is better standards of life for both sexs

I think that every human being on this earth should have equal rights beginning and end of it.
Equal rights come with equal responsibility. The inventors of democracy understood this: No land ownership no vote. No military service no vote. If you bring zero household skills to the table, you won’t get married. Traitors brutally executed in the public square as examples. School cost money and gas standards. Obviously they weren’t perfect, but we are still talking about and practicing the ideas of that civilization to this day.
As long as everyone is treated equally whether it's sex, race, religion etc. America (depending on the leader) is the land of opportunity
