To answer your question, I answered to enforce the laws. But I think what the video showed is beyond just enforcing the laws. We have immigration laws in America 🇺🇸 and who enforces them? No one!
That's why they found 50 illegals in a truck 🚛 in San Antonio that were thrown in a pile in the truck - DEAD! 16 went to the hospital. 💔
I don't think there is anything that would help their situation because that is how those people were taught to handle those migrants.
I wish I had a better answer for you. Maybe our planet will get hit my a giant asteroid and we all die.
P. S. sorry I don't see you answering my questions anymore 🤔20 Reply

I would offer a $1,000 bounty, dead or alive (age wouldn't matter); but, to collect, I would require a video of the person crossing the border. There are very low light night video cameras that could record that, even on the darkest night. With thousands of people with video cameras and high powered rifles looking to make an easy $1,000, within 3 months illegal border crossing would go to zero.

I would use sanctions as a pretext to freeze and confiscate foreign reserves of countries who donโt do what the West wants, causing an acceleration of the decline in the holding of dollars and euros as foreign reserves. This would drive up inflation in the West. Eventually the standard of living, which is already deteriorating in the West, will get so bad that migrants want to stay home and Mexico will build a wall to keep Americans out. Wait a minute... the Biden Admin is actually doing this!

I would bust my ass off to accept as many refugees and migrants as I possibly could because they would massively boost my nations growth and power in the future. It is literally like having free money rain from above and all I have to do is make sure I have a big enough wallet to shovel it into.

with that logic you should invite 20 of them to live in your house and you'd become a millionaire.
- +1 y
@gorydetails In a way that is 100% correct, although a small issue with your example is that I am a person where as a nation accepting migrants/refugees is a nation. A nation can quite comfortably invest in project that can take generations to start paying out where as I dont have too much time to start collecting benefits.
But yes. If I could get 20 migrants/refugees to move into my house and have them as well as all their kids and their kids kids etc.. all work for me and my family for the rest of time I would probably be a millionaire very quickly... relatively speaking. Especially if you compare it to working a normal job. - +1 y

@gorydetails Citizenship is very similar to slavery. As long as you live in a country you are by extension working for them and even paying for the benefit of working for them through taxes. If you want to compare a country accepting migrants/refugees to me accepting migrants/refugees then the only way to make them comparable would be for them to literally be enslaved to me since that is how migration works and why countries see them as free money.

Arguing with Soteris trying to explain to him how immigration and reality works is about just the same trying to explain to a monkey how to fly a plane.

@Avicenna I literally could not care less if immigrants or refugees are on welfare longterm or not. They still cost the government less money than a native, give more in taxes on average and their kids will be brought up to our national standard with our work culture and education. As a long term investment even the absolute WORST immigrants and refugees are a long term profit.
But again. Immigrants and refugees on average cost the government less and after is more financially beneficial. All you have to do is make sure you can actually work them once they are here. - +1 y
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy It would speed things up if you people actually educated yourself beforehand so we could skip straight to the end where it turns out I was right all along because otherwise I would not bother opening my mouth in the first place.

@Avicenna You make it sound like sex would be a bad reason to accept immigrants. Sounds like a pretty wild party to me. But you are just wrong anyway not to mention that this really does not matter on any actual time scale as nations plan for generations ahead when the people they accepted in is already dead and buried but still benefiting the country through their children.

Soteris, as you well know there are plenty of your fellow leftists in the US that exploit people on a daily basis. That doesnโt exempt you from criticism for promulgating policies that result in exploitation and screw over native-born populations and legal immigrants, and you make it clear you donโt care about natives getting screwed over by the exploiters.
But I am not surprised that your idea of a mutually beneficial relationship is ordinary people getting screwed over by illegals and oligarchs. - +1 y
@Avicenna I dont think you understand just how screwed up your politics are. There isent any people "like me" in power in USA. You are all a bunch of right wing lunatics from my point of view. Also, strictly speaking the "Native people" in USA are the native Americans. I have it on good authority that we treat our native people here better than yours.
- +1 y
I guess the meaning of โnative-bornโ is list on you. But itโs clear to everyone else. And youโve shown how extreme you are if you think the leftist crazies in the US are โright-wingโ.
You donโt have to tell me how screwed up US politics are, but itโs because theyโre dominated by leftists just like you. - +1 y
Lots of left wing crazies, but youโre showing how extreme you are in not acknowledging it.
You need to look up what an immigrant is, because you clearly have no idea. Naive-born Americans are not Europeans, Africans or Asians, theyโre Americans. And they arenโt immigrants, either. - +1 y
@Avicenna Well that is great. That means the children of the refugees are automatically natives and it solves the whole problem you people have been banging on about in a single generation. Fantastic.
Also you would not recognize a true leftie if they so slapped your back and called you a scumbag. - +1 y
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy Building a wall? Ahahahaha! *wipes away tears of joy* I completely forgot you idiots believed that was ever an option. Truly the height of childish logic and not understanding the cost of a project. I support you wholeheartedly though! Putting aside that it literally would not stop anything, much less illegal immigration, I fully support the fact that it would cripple USA and hasten its fall into 3rd world status. Build away boys!

LOL, Soteris, it wouldn't be a day on the calendar without you embarrassing yourself with your stupidity and dishonesty. But here's what we know about you just from this thread:
1) You love slave labor
2) You don't consider people Swedes unless they are ethnic Swedes
3) You think open borders is free money and a country
4) You think leftists in the US are "right wing extremists"
- +1 y
@Avicenna
1: Funny you should bring it up, you coming from a country where slavery is actually legal and practiced.
2: The problem with Native Americans is that they are distinctly separate from the immigrants. Namely there is a very clear distinction between the people who originally lived in USA and the yahoos that came over on ships and started to ruin everything. The explicit definition of the first group determines the second and quite frankly, USA is like 250 years old or something. On a scale of human history that is not even a blink of an eye so dont come here and pretend that you have some ancestral claim on your land that you have barely just started to inhabit.
3: Yes I think so.. and it is.. Factually and irrefutably.
4: The Democratic party in USA is right wing by the standards of developed countries. This is just a fact and we will never stop giving you shit for it.

I think the big thing is just wanting to actually solve the problem. So say you're in the US and you want to stem the tide of illegal aliens entering the country. First, you have to announce that you'll take a tough stand on illegal immigration (as opposed to the wink-and-nod approach that's characterized policymakers who actually want to see MORE people come to the country). Then you'd have to take action to demonstrate that commitment. I'd start by deploying US Army units to the southern border to interdict anyone attempting to travel across.
There are other things that could be done to work with partners in other countries as well. The key is to align incentives with them so they choose to do what you'd like them to do. For example, with Mexico we could tax any remittances sent to Mexico from people living and working in the US to offset the costs of interdicting illegals crossing from Mexico. This would give Mexican authorities an incentive to help us out because the fewer people they allow to cross the less heavily they are taxed.
At any rate, those are a couple of policy changes to make, but the key to any change is to 1) have a clearly and HONESTLY defined goal (you have to HONESTLY WANT to reduce illegal immigration), 2) set policy to align the incentives of the other players in the game (immigrants, foreign authorities, domestic groups trying to thwart your goal), and 3) be transparent about what you're doing (policies) and how it's working (illegal immigration numbers).10 Reply 14.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Bring back all the polices that President Trump used. Build the wall, wait in Mexico. I would eliminate chain migration and all welfare benefits for non citizens.
The weekend before the Superbowl I would announce that there would be free citizenship at all pro football stadiums and also a free iPhone. When they all show up I would round them all up and send than all back.10 Reply- +1 y
I'd say a great wall of China, one so big that they can drive along the top of it looking for illegals, with motion sensors and camera's... drones, etc...

1. build a wall south of mexico, that's the smallest bottle neck and we can easily man it
2. death penalties for human traffickers. soldiers and border patrol may carry out executions on the spot without trial
3. 3 strikes policy for illegals, 3rd strike is death, strikes are marked with physical injuries on the body like lost fingers or hands16 Reply- +1 y
#3 is cruelty.

how is 3 strikes not enough? the world can't be fixed without killing you know

@007kingifrit Bro why canโt we just brand people with irons or something as their strikes?

I'd build the wall, pit mines and automatic movement trigger guns on the border. Maybe a swamp with alligators in the most infections places

Building a wall is good enough.

Right.

I still think mines and automatic motion-sensor- activated machine guns as a supplemental would be good. We can't continue to be flooded by 1,000+ a day who don't even speak
- +1 y
No need to have someone killed because they cross a border illegally. Just arrest and deport.
- +1 y
It's too much trouble. Do you realize how much we spend on the border already? It's insane. And still they spill in in droves
