Should it be illegal to make fun of the president?

Here in the USA, we have the freedom to say and post whatever we want. We are one of the only countries in the world that have a constitutional guarantee that we can say or paint or post or print whatever we wish. Free press and journalism. It's one of the many reasons why America is known as "the greatest country in the world" and "land of the free"

It's one of many many reasons why we receive a million immigrants from every country on earth legally, and even more come in through the so-called "Biden -route", by simply strolling across the southern border. At the Southern border they meet people from 115 countries seeking a better life.

Freedom of speech is good, however some people feel we shouldn't be allowed to make fun of the leaders of the country. It is not the way you should be known around the world they say. In other countries there would be consequences for posting the picture above. But not on the land of the free. What say ye?

In general, no. But your characterization of the first amendment isn’t accurate.
The freedom of speech and freedom of the press principles established therein are only meant to protect us from a tyrannical government. There are, and always should be, negative consequences for simply being a loudmouth tool. You can be de-platformed, fired, kicked out of skool, and yes, even jailed for doing something like calling in a false bomb threat, or yelling “fire” an a crowded area. That’s all fine and good because a good government protects its people from themselves and each other to a limited extent. A tyrannical government would take away your ability to dissent through the media, and… now pay close attention to this part… a tyrannical government would manipulate the media to drive a false narrative in order to manipulate and control the masses. The media should be held criminally liable for lies and misinformation. Otherwise they are of absolutely no use to us in the name of protecting our liberties.

There already are consequences for committing wrongthink. Ask any of the millions of people who’ve been de platforming in the last year or so. Democrats get big mad when they are mocked, where Trump publicly stated he would not use his power to silence political opponents and that criticism is “something we’re going to have to learn to live with. Should be legal, as long as its not a threat. Which is how it currently is, can't make a threat against the president or shout fire in a movie theater or other kinds of threats.

Ironically some kinds of threats are still covered under freedom of speech, like when one guy says he's going to kick the ass and beat the shit out of another guy. Police won't arrest or charge the one making the threat.

No. Like you said, freedom of speech (at least most of it) is what makes the United States great. Everyone has the right to agree and disagree. And everyone has the right to express themselves in ways that are not harmful to others. I don't see how making fun of a president harms others. Think back at how many memes and other jokes were made about Trump. If liberals have the right to do that against Trump then conservatives should have the right to do that against Biden. You don't even need to be in favor of one party or another. You can just be a neutral comedian. It's not always about politics.

If that is the worse thing that happens to you in a given day, you still have a good life. Also of social media is making you angry for any reason, you need to stop away from it. A lot of countries are more free than the US, the US isn’t known as the „land of the free“ anywhere outside of it‘s own borders. Your press isn‘t free at all since almost all of your mainstream media are owned by like 6 families who mostly share common interests and feed you propaganda, no matter if it‘s Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post or whatever.
